During my visit on 03/25/2026, I noticed that the front desk staff now bear much of the burden for explaining confusing new billing practices -- which, frankly, isn't fair to them or to patients. If the facility has switched to a new NPI number or changed how they bill insurance, that should be made clear before the appointment, not after. My insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield IBX) listed this location as in-network, with coverage at 80/20, but suddenly the bill came through under "Well Street," which is out-of-network for me and dropped my coverage to 60/40. For seniors like myself, that's a significant financial hit that we aren't prepared for, especially when we go out of our way to find in-network care. To make matters worse, patients are now required to put a credit card on file or they won't be seen. This feels less like healthcare and more like a trap -- you arrive expecting coverage and clarity, but end up caught off guard by expensive changes and policies that weren't disclosed in advance. I hope the management reconsiders these practices and starts treating their patients with the transparency and respect we deserve.

I called and they wouldn't put it thru. Later I got a bill after a year of being seen and it wasn't even correct! They had overcharged me and I went in and spent over an hour teaching the woman basic math to correct the mistake. Then I saw a copy of the bill and they had written horrible things about me on the bill!!! I was horrified you'd think they would have more compassion for a single Christian woman not from the area trying to help her son and not throw her money away do to not having efficient people. Don't be an outsider from out of town as you will not be welcomed. They will judge you. Then they claim to be Christian with their holier than though music. Only bad experience was a man who was new at Decatur I believe he might have been a nurse and he was checking me in at front desk. Was by far the ugliest encounter I have ever had at a doctor's office. Immediately he was handled and I never saw him again at either location. Pretty sure he was let go. I have extremely rare condition which causes rare subset conditions that most doctors pass off on me as "difficult". The Doctors here and their P.A.'s have always gone the mile for me and it has made a difference in my overall quality of life and care. One of my adult children is also now seen here for my same rare condition. If you have been treated badly for ongoing issues and conditions that won't happen at PCC in Sandy Springs
