I took my Nissan car for a Smog Test and this time I had to do it at a STAR Station. I forgot that I had been to Piedra's Smog Test Only a few years ago. They have the Smog check deal for $46.75 +$8.25 State Certification (Total $55) by checking in on Yelp. The price was very reasonable. You can pay by Cash or Credit card (I used Apple Pay). My car was done in about 15 minutes and he gave me a copy of the Smog Check Inspection Report and the certificate has been electronically transmitted to DMV. It was fast and service was friendly. Easy Peasy!

Wow! What can I say, come here on a Saturday afternoon, I was in and out within 10 mins for the smoke check plus getting my registration sticker here as well! Plus, they have deal going on for $29.75 smoke check plus the $9 certificate fee which total about $38 (you can google it and show them the coupon), the price can't be beat! Small shop but great service! read more

My teen daughter took her car to be smogged not relaizing that having a check engine light on would automatically result in a failed test. Instead of the technician/owner pointing this out and directing her to have a mechanic look at the car first, he smogged the car (knowing it would fail) and proceeded to charge her. I called on my teen's behalf to to get her money back but was told by the owner (Silvino Piedra) that the car "can be" smogged with the check engine light on even knowing it will fail, because they need to get the codes. Piedra tried to justify the charge. Theyre not a mechanic shop, but a smog test shop. No where on the reciept does it say theyre charging to provide codes. Without touching the vehicle, they knew from seeing a check engine light that the car would fail but yet put it on the machine and charged. Where's the integrity and moral of the business? Their service was fast and they do have a coupon for a discount price, but i am very disappointed and question the shop's integrity. read more

No fuss smog check. I love it. You get your smog check and out in 15 minutes. 38 bucks out the door. Yes the AC is not very cold and they share a small parking lot with another auto shops. It's a small business. Fast and efficient. Definitely coming back here for my other cars. read more

However, last week when I went to renew my registration, I realized I had to do a smog check in order to complete the process. W H A T!?!?! I panicked because I have never gotten a smog check before AND my registration was literally due in a days. I paid for the fees and went right on to Yelp to start my search. There were many places through out the SGV and OC around me, all had very reasonable prices. However, not all of them were opened on Sundays. I was already on my way to Rowland Heights to run some errands so I decided to stop by Smog Test Only Discount Center nearby just to see if they would accept walk ins. Thank Goodness they were opened until 2pm and only had 1 customer before me. The total time spent was approximately 30 minutes and total cost was $55 (accepts Cash, CC, Zelle). Maria helped me and she was SO nice! I am not sure if I may need another smog check anytime soon, but I do plan on referring friends and family here if they ever need one. Bonus: They offer hair cut services as well. Not sure if it is for me but I can totally see men getting a buzz cut here while they wait.

While we were sitting around, I was browsing around yelp and noticed that this place offers a coupon discount on smog check. It states "must present coupon prior to service". When he pulled up with a paper for a signature, I mentioned this discount to him and he told me that I needed to show him that when I came in. It doesn't specifically state on the coupon that I needed to show the coupon when I come in. Plus, he didn't even start the service on my car yet. He was really rude about it after and told me he is losing money if he decided to give me the promotion and he can't just adjust the price after printing out the paper. There was also no apologies. If he wants to do business correctly, he needs to own what is said on the coupon and not just change it last minute. I just felt bad vibes throughout this experience and left with a sour taste in my mouth. I ended up paying almost $60 for this smog check which I could've done for cheaper at another place. The service was fast though. That was the only thing good about it. I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Quick & professional service they take in consideration everything especially your time. Got my smog & car registration in 15-20 mins & out. People tripp over their service fee but its well worth it skipping the long lines at DMV if you ask me. Just went to get my smog check this past weekend and the staff was great. The technician had so much knowledge about the process and answered all my questions. The price is very reasonable and they also offer other services. The waiting area is clean and they also have a T.V in the lobby to entertain the customers. I did a walk in for a smog thinking I wouldnt pass. I had an 'inspection now' light up since I was due for a 90K inspection. Since it was a Saturday, there were a couple people ahead of me. But I think I waited 15? There was only one guy doing it all! And he still got everything done in less than 20. He was a nice man, professional, and I PASSED!
