From the start this place was meh . Ordered a sprit cocktail that was too syrupy and not light at all. The sandwich I had was supposed to be blackened fish but they gave me broiled. It tasted okay but not great. Apparently cooking to order is a lost art in Florida restaurants because on this vacation I couldn't get a meal with everything correct. To end it the guy handed me the hand held ticket machine to add a tip. I didn't touch anything and it added its own tip to the order. I tried to get a print out but the damn thing jammed. Pier 63 was recommended by the locals and did not disappoint . We ate at the bar , which had a fabulous view of the ocean. The bartender recommend the yummy Cocoa set sail for a sweet drink and it hit the mark. The security guard at the front entrance recommended the sea food chowder and It was the better than any I had before . I also ordered the pork nachos that were a 15 on a 1/10 scale. My husband had the Longboard burger and it was equally flavorful . I would rate the food and service 15/10. One of the bartenders had been there for 8 yrs. Always come for the very well made drinks and poke, service has stepped up since the pandemic, they also revamped the menu and have a very high quality sushi selection and poke that is very beautiful when you eat it on the pier overlooking the water. The poke nachos are my favourite in all of Florida, even better than coconuts in cocoa beach. Our server Jimy had a very nice personality and was very hospitable. The calamari was very good too overall without the view it would be a 4/5 but the ambiance and location gives it a 5 simply for how there's no other place like it in Florida. read more

Located at the Cocoa Beach Pier, this restaurant is pretty chill. Pier 62 has a nice variety of seafood options as well as good ole turf opportunities. Racheal who was our server was very attentive and did a great job during our visit. Based on our experience with Racheal, I would rate this truly a 4.5 star experience! We started out with an appetizer (Wonton chip with ahi tuna). This was refreshing and very flavorful! For entree's my wife had the poke nacho & I had the Kahakai Tacos with blackened grouper. Not very friendly topped off with the food also being just ok. Started with the half shell oysters - these were actually really good and large and would suggest ordering these. The lobster roll with pasta salad - the amount of lobster was a decent portion and the buttered roll was good but overall lacked some flavor. Pasta salad was an ok side, but should have gone with the fries. The Longboard Burger - came out extremely quick and the burger patties were pretty cold. Not sure how it came out so quickly and wasn't hot? Overall, a 2/5 on the burger. The fries were probably the best part of the meal. Would definitely go elsewhere next time. read more

Oh my goodness, this is the restaurant that you must try at least once. The view is breathtaking and the service was Phenomenal. Matt our bartender was the best by far so much personality & knowledgeable of the menus. I ordered the Bahama Mama and I was totally impressed, it was one of the best Bahama Mama I've ever had. As an appetizer I had 1/2 dozen Raw Oysters and for the Entree we had Malakai Blackened Tacos with Pilaf Rice and the Grouper Sandwich with fries. Oh so fresh the food was delivered heat hot and flavorful, I usually use hot sauce but there was no need. We definitely need a restaurant like this one in Sacramento, CA, including sending Matt to train the employees. We will be back and hats off to the Cooks you guys are awesome. read more

I'm such a sucker for pier food. My mom and I had spent the entire day just relaxing at Cocoa Beach, when we suddenly became hungry. We went to pier 62. The place was packed but had plenty of seating. It was about a 20 minute wait, but we decided to eat at the bar instead. The bartender was very quick to greet us and get us something to drink. Not too long after he took our order. Ugh the food was great!! I'm not a heavy huge so I thought the serving size was perfect. Their mango salsa though is to die for! After a lovely 1.5-mile walk down the beach, we arrived at the Cocoa Beach pier. A storm was rolling in so the end of the pier was closed off but we were able to get a perfect seat by the railing at Pier 62 and enjoy a delightfully breezy outdoor meal. On our first visit to the Pier we ordered a delicious potato concoction with clam chowder over the top. The combo sounded questionable at first but once we took our first bites it was worth the risk. On our second and final visit (vacation ended and we had to go home the next morning) we got some really great entrees! I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries and wow! That sandwich was NOT messing around. The breading on the chicken was intense but super tasty by itself. The chicken was not entirely overpowered by the Nashville breading. The fries were mmm-mmm good! My mom was with me as always and she got the Shrimp Po Boy - she said it was really good - looked like a little too much bread and not enough sauce for my taste, but overall a solid dish. She also got fries...let me tell you, the fries here are GREAT! Crispy potatoey goodness! As for the service, every staff member who waited on us was wonderful, welcoming, and willing to answer questions/assist in any way. There were 2 staff members that really stuck out to us, Galinda (our waitress) and one of the male managers (we didn't catch his name) but they were both so great and attentive! I wouldn't recommend spending the money to get the drinks....I will say that they were NOT strong. Not even close to being semi-strong and for what you pay for the drinks (too much for my taste personally) the cost isn't worth the minimal alcohol. If I didn't know any better I would think there was no alcohol in the drinks. We got 2 Bahama Mama 32oz drinks to split and neither of us felt any effect of alcohol. Plus they put so much dang ice in the glass that there is hardly any room left for the liquids. Finally, the pier view at sunset and during the day is beyond beautiful! My daughter and I were staying in Cocoa Beach for a bit over a week. Our beach walk took us to the Pier. Because there was a storm rolling in, they closed the end of the Pier because of the lightning. Since a storm rolled through almost nightly, so the bar at the end of the Pier was closed during our entire stay. The food was good; the drinks were good but way too expensive for what you get. It is the exceptional staff that really makes this restaurant amazing. The view from the Pier is wonderful. But, it really is the people that makes this restaurant worth visiting! read more

Stopped by the pier just to do some sightseeing and stumbled into pier 62 restaurant. We have ate at a lot of local diners and restaurants and this by far was my favorite. Quick drive out from Orlando to see the beach and grab a beer and a bite. We were shooting to go to the bar at the end of the pier, but it was closed due to high winds so we hit up Pier 62. We were lucky enough to arrive right at 4pm just when their happy hour started - half off drafts and wells. Grabbed some oysters and calamari and enjoyed the peaceful views. No complaints here. Great view of the ocean from this pier. Large bay windows, service is awesome. Got the fired shrimp plate with French fries. They are the large cut curly fries. What I love is the fried shrimp is battered with NO, I repeat NO tails attached. Love this, If you pre peel the shrimp but leave the tail, why?!?! Just go and finish peeling the shrimp!! These guys have a very tasty light batter around them and they have a great taste to them. Love the sweet chili sauce I can dip these into. read more

It's a new restaurant on the pier together with Ticky tavern and beach deck at Pier 62. Wait wasn't bad. We ordered the crispy calamari and the chowder fries. Calamari was OK. Chowder fries was really good. With chowder and seafood Gruyère. and we ordered passion, fruit, frozen lemonade, which was sweet and sour. But my daughter love it We also ordered strawberry cake for dessert. It was not too sweet and really good. Daughter loved it! Prices were a little bit more compared to a regular restaurant. I was recommended this place by a friend stationed nearby, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I wish I hadn't bothered--it was a complete waste of time. When we arrived, half-open packets of baby wipes were scattered on several tables, while three or four staff stood at the end of the bar glued to their phones. As the bar was full, my wife and I seated ourselves at a table. It took ten minutes before anyone brought menus, and only after my wife had already gone to the bar to order drinks. From there, things only got worse: 1. Unreasonable drink policy - They refused to serve my wife more than one beer, even though I was sitting just a few meters away. 2. ID issues - They would not accept UK driving licences or even photos of our passports. Realistically, who brings their actual passport to the beach? 3. Rude staff - The manager in particular laughed at us when questioning our IDs. I could understand being carded if I looked young, but I'm in my mid-30s with grey in my beard. 4. Hostile treatment - When we moved to the tiki bar to simply have dinner and a soda, staff actually radioed ahead to warn others we were coming. I could hear this over their radios, and when we arrived, two staff members shouted at us that we wouldn't be served--then laughed at us again. The entire experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and downright embarrassing. What looked like a pleasant spot turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Absolutely awful--I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more
