I can't believe that this place has gotten some bad reviews. I've been going here for over two years since I've moved locations. Every single cut i had gotten from them has always been great! There are usually 2-4 workers there, and they are so nice! I usually meet with my regular, and it's such a nice welcoming place. If you catch them close to open, it's very easy to get your cut done fast. I've seen it really busy around afternoon, so expect a bit of wait. Their pricing is very fair, and if you usually get your cut regularly like a monthly thing, they usually give you a discount. read more

I've been here myself twice and they always take their time to get my hair right. They don't rush and miss half your hair just to make more money, rushing through clients. I'm a 17 year military veteran and expect perfection in my high and tight and they don't disappoint. However, the reason for this review is my 2-month old son. He had his first haircut today and I again was very pleased. Not only did she do a great job, but she also helped dad and mom through the anxiety of the first haircut. She explained exactly what she was doing, how she was going to do it and allowed mom and I to take part without frustration. Everytime he moved around she was quick to stop and move the scissors away and patient to wait for him to settle back down. She also helped us to know the safety tips to look for if we take him to other barbers in the future. She was very gentle and kind and my baby knew it. He was very relaxed and didn't get fussy at all until I had to hold him still at the end to get around his ears and neck. She topped it off with giving us tips to style his hair and gave him a bit of a style herself. Granted, he didn't get a precision cut but that was more because she wasn't trying to force the clippers right up against his head and anyone that knows a two-month-old baby, he can barely keep his head still, so don't expect the impossible. Our big concern was getting the hair off his neck and bring some order to the top of his head because he sweats a lot. He was born with a lot of hair, but it sticks straight up naturally. Also she did not charge any more than she charged me for mine at $14.. which is a huge plus! If you go to those "baby and toddler" specific shops they will gouge you with $20-$40 cuts for the "extra effort" that it takes to cut a baby's hair. If you want it done cheap and with gentleness and love, bring your babies, toddlers, children, teens, boyfriends, fiancees, husbands, dad, grandfathers to Pierce Barber Shop. We will be coming here for all of our baby's cuts from here on, even if we move away from the area. Don't forget to tip!! read more

Been coming here for years, this place is always clean and the barbers are super friendly. After Covid I was hesitant to go to a barber shop, they made my son and I feel safe, they follow all guidelines and clean there station & chairs after every customer. read more

I got a haircut with this place and it's sad to say but the barber has to much pride and ego and rather be broke then to have business and money return . One thing is to have a bad day at cutting hair.But to purposely mess up somebody's hair on purpose this place won't stay in business long and if you go here it will be the biggest mistake of your life . read more

Shame on me for this one. When I walked in and it was two women cutting children's hair I should have known better. That's probably what they are best at and the price is decent to that end, but this isn't like a real barber shop. My hair was botched at different establishment and I was looking for someplace new to cut it right now that I've grow it out. Instead they cut it too short and now it doesn't lay right. So, I still have to go to someone else to get it fixed. The other demerit is that it's a cash only establishment and the prices on the sign are vague they are labelled as 12$ and up. What does "and up" mean? Can they charge you more? Would they let me know before hand? This seems important information so I know how much cash I need to pay. They charged me 12$ for buzzing the sides and trimming the top. Would have been a good price if it didn't make my hair look redicullous. read more

I went in for a haircut on Oct 29 at 3:30and it was a bad experience. The guy that was cutting my hair was wearing an earpiece while listening to something (laughing throughout the whole haircut). This caused him to cut without attention to detail. It took him about to 40 minutes to do a job that looked like it took 5 minutes. The ladies always do an amazing job, next time I will make sure that one of them cuts my hair. read more

One of my go to places for a good haircut. Conveniently located near a liquor store and a pizza place as well. Mens haircuts are $10 and $12 if you want a line up. Consistently good haircuts here and wait times aren't bad since its a barbershop. It also has a small snack bar, magazines and TV to keep you busy. read more

Took my son in. He received a good haircut in my opinion (he's in elementary school so he doesn't need an over-the-top style). It was $14. I am happy more with the price, I have not been able to find a place that charges less than $18. And I've taken him to a good number of spots. I will bring him back for sure. read more
