We worked with two different associates (different departments, otherwise we would have definitely worked with the same people again) and both were helpful, but not pushy. The associates did a great job of answering questions, looking up inventory, delivery dates, and product information. They also gave us space and time to try different options, think about our decisions, etc. Both experiences were very positive and we feel like we got good deals with exceptional service. The protection plans and expected lifespan of the products were also some main reasons we ended up purchasing from Jordan's. The only difficulty we had was that there seemed to be several other "shoppers" who were just hanging out or tire-kicking, which meant we had to wait a few minutes before working with a salesperson. This wasn't a big problem, but it is a testament of the atmosphere. If you have no patience for tire-kickers or kids running around, it might not be the best furniture shopping experience for you. We were fine to put up with it, but it's definitely worth noting. For both purchases, we opted for delivery because their prices are good and it was so convenient! Each time, they arrived within the scheduled window, communicated clearly, were efficient yet took the time to explain care instructions, and were respectful of our home. With the purchase of the mattress, they even removed both the old mattress and box spring included in the delivery!

This was all my wife needed to see to make plans for a visit here. Since we were in the mall area and the place we needed to visit was open quite yet, meant we had time to come here. The store is quite large with many different set ups with a large variety of house decor and furniture. They also have a lot of the fall decor we saw. Including Halloween mugs, candle holders, pumpkins of all sorts; candles, fabric pumpkins, napkins, and more. Besides seasonal offerings you can find lots of lamps, silverware, plates & everything you could need for table settings. Every worker we encountered welcomed us in and offered any help if we needed it which was nice. Price wise I would say most of them did go for higher range but it did seem most things were nice quality. I assume you could find some of their offerings elsewhere for cheaper so maybe do some searching before you purchase. Lastly I will say we did have a better experience than other reviews left for here. Overall a solid spot to browse some festive seasonal items but prices may be high.

In the process of buying a used bunk bed from a private party who advertised the original retailer make, I needed some care instructions. Frantically attempting to contact the retailer proved futile - they had literally just shuttered their locations, disconnected phones and had a "stale" website. I searched the net in vain until I came across a blog that Furniturea had posted comments stating their manufacturing relationship with the now defunct retailer. I took a chance and sent an email fully expecting that I wouldn't get an answer back. To my total amazement I got a reply within ONE day. Furniturea answered my care question and offered helpful safety advice about how to ensure the bunk bed was as secure as possible. As it turned out the previous owner had not provided all the hardware necessary to totally secure the bed. Furniturea supplied the bolts by mail at no charge. What up? They actually helped a non-direct customer and provided advice and materials. I had to check my email twice to make sure I understood..... Wow.... I am totally convinced that doing business with a real caring business based in the USA is the way to go!! Run don't walk to this company and support them.... I'm planning to buy more furniture from them because the quality is without parallel - the bunk beds are BEAUTIFUL and the service is top notch. They really CARE about their customers! Amazing!

Home Goods is a store that you may go to with some idea of what you want and are looking for. By…read morethe time you leave you may or may not have grabbed what you intended to. But at the same time you could very easily leave with an absurd variety of things that are surprisingly sold in the same store and if you aren't careful spend a small fortune. I mean there is a reason for awhile there was a trend online where people film videos asking a friend if they had "fill in the blank bizarre item" with friend then showing said bizarre item that did actually exist here. My wife and I enjoy coming here for spotting the absurd things they have for sale but also do find useful buys as well. Some of the stuff I am unsure how it ever sells though, like some of the pictures I have added. Prices can be hit or miss with some good deals but some prices seem overpriced. This is a store where some items even have their price versus what the typical retail price would be. I am skeptical of these due to the fact they could make up numbers to make it seem like a deal. If you are a fan of seasonal based items you will find a lot here with right now being fall versions of everything you can imagine. Honestly a store visiting even if you are just going to browse, you will likely find one oddity you want to buy. Be warned though this place also frequently has extremely long checkout lines especially close to the holidays.

So HomeGoods is just a Christmas Tree Shop, right? I read somewhere on Reddit that people consider…read moreit a "treasure hunt": the inventory is always changing, so people find gems and buy them on the spot because they're unsure if they'll ever see them again. But the stuff here is so generic, I don't know how that can be true. It's full of home furnishings like lights, mirrors, rugs, throw pillows, bedding, and various furniture, kitchen products like cookware and dinnerware, wall art that seems like it's printed from stock photos, loads of cheap seasonal decor, and very random food like chocolates you've never heard of, off-brand hot sauces, and random pickled produce. And there's stuff absolutely everywhere, quite literally overflowing from bins. For me, all I see here is store full of things that will eventually end up in the landfill. As a person who is overstimulated easily, errs on the side of minimalism, and makes purchases intentionally, this is not a shopping experience for me.

Seven employees working, no mask in sight other than the one that was covering my mouth and nose. Many employees were so close together that their arms were touching - still, no masks. I reported the business to the City of Portland, and the health inspector that called me back did let me know that he paid a visit to UGC and, again, no masks were being worn by five employees that day. I drove by a few days ago, and due to the elevation of Warren Ave in regards to where the store is placed, I was able to look inside. Lo and behold, despite Portland's health inspector paying them a visit and speaking with the manager and employees, I saw multiple employees without masks in the few seconds I was able to look in the store while driving by. If you value your health and the health of those you love, avoid this place at ALL COSTS. Support stores that care about their customers enough to wear a mask (seriously - it's not THAT hard!), give quality customer service, and of course, a store whose manager isn't aiming to work at and maintain a super-spreader location. I will never be back, and I will continue to urge everyone I know to steer clear of this establishment.
