More importantly, the price point can accommodate anyone's budget. For s small space, the massive inventory of earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, charms & body jewelry provides a grand selection to choose from. I've witnessed ear piercing on occasions, & appreciate the company's effort in offering a clean, sterile & safe environment especially in a small setting...all Technicians are certified. My WomanBaby & I have been pierced by the Pagoda & never had any issues. The free pair of earrings is a great marketing tool as well. Staff was warm friendly and patient while both my young daughters had their ears pierced.

This is the WORST place to pierce your ears! If you want to save time from going to the doctor to get this fixed don't go here! They did a horrible job, my piercings are not even and I also had to see the doctor because the piercing guns they used were way too harsh for my ear and made the earring so tight that it got stuck in my ear. I called piercing pagoda and asked them what I should do and they told me to call my doctor because it's not their problem. I had to go to the ER and they used forceps to get the earring out. On the other ear now it seems I have an infection. The piercing guns are HORRIBLE!! PLEASE do NOT go here, you need to go to a reputable piercer not this dumb kiosk in the mall! I regret going here so much! You want your piercing to last and be perfect you don't want to end up with an infection. Save your time and your money read more

This Piercing Pagoda is a kiosk in the Montgomery Mall. They are efficient, got good selection, and service is OK. We had some difficulty understanding the woman who worked there that day, but in the end I got my ears pierced. Their selection for piercing is limited (more for kids than for adults). So far so good. No infection or pain. I have to clean the areas twice a day, and turn the ear rings a full circle once a day. read more

I wish I had caught the name of the wonderful worker who helped us and pierced us today, she was extremely accommodating and explained everything thoroughly. My friend was a little bit more than nervous but the worker helped her calm down and was super patient with waiting before and after to make sure she was ready to go and felt like she was 100% comfortable with the piercing placement. Having all my piercings done in the past at Claire's (which were poorly done and left my piercings lopsided) this third piercing evened out my wonky piercings, my experience here was wonderful and I most highly recommend Piercing Pagoda for all your ear lobe needs. read more

DO NOT get your ears pierced here. They do not know what they are doing. The man did not know how to operate a piercing gun and somehow pierced two holes right next to each other in my ear where there was only supposed to be one!! He also hurt me because he didn't know how to work the gun. I have multiple piercings and never had the person struggle to use the gun so much. If you are going to get your ears pierced do research before because piercing guns cannot be properly sanitized and should definitely not be used for cartilage piercings. This place doesn't care about the well being of your body they just want money. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Also the man who did my 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings (I got a lot done at once) did a crooked job at aligning them with my first lobe piercings. JUST HORRIBLE. read more

I got multiple ear piercings done here at once (3 on one side and 2 on the other) and THEY ALL GOT INFECTED despite the fact that I took care of them in the proper manner, using the solution Piercing Pagoda gave me. I went back to have the jewelry swapped out in the hopes that it would help (they originally used stainless steel jewelry). When the woman put the new jewelry in, she basically ended up repiercing an already infected hole, causing me a lot of pain and making everything much worse. (She also charged me full price for the new 10-carat gold jewelry, despite the fact that I had a coupon and had just been there 2 weeks earlier.) It's been about 6 weeks since I first got pierced there, and my piercings are still swollen, red, irritated, and even bleeding occasionally. I DO NOT SUGGEST GOING HERE. I talked to someone at a legit piercing studio in DC, and they said to avoid anyplace that uses a piercing gun because guns are not clean or sanitary enough. Piercing Pagoda uses a gun. read more

This place sucks ! I got my daughters ears pierced here & they got the gun stuck in my daughters ears thus making her cry even longer. They double charged me & two months later the back piece of her earring fell out twice. As a result my 10 month old daughters earring fell out and got lost. The customer service here is absolutely awful. All the company cares about is their profit. They could care less to satisfy the people who put money on their pockets. They have completely lost me as a customer. Avoid piercing pagoda at all costs & invest your money elsewhere. This company did nothing to meet my needs when I was dissatisfied. read more

- DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL CROOKS - If I could give zero stars I would. I am shocked and appalled at the experience I had here. Came with my brother to buy a pair of earrings for him -- he thought he forgot his card so I paid, and after the transaction went through he realized he had it. We asked the lady (Ethiopian woman) if she could refund the item to my card and then charge him instead. She asked me to put my card back in the machine (I assumed it was to refund) but the screen said something like "agree to pay this amount" so I realized it had charged me a second time. I pointed this out to her and she said she would refund the 2 charges back to my card. I thought that's what she did, and then my brother paid for the item himself. When I checked my bank statement later I realized she had charged me twice and refunded me only once, which means my brother and I paid $65 EACH for ONE pair of earrings. He went back a few days later and the woman wasn't there -- he explained everything to the man who was working there and even showed him my bank statement. The man then called the woman who sold us the earrings on the phone and asked her about it. She full on LIED and said that we bought 2 pairs of earrings - WHAT???!! - I could not even believe it. I will be pursuing this matter further but the amount of frustration and shock I am in is so huge. This lady completely lied to cover her own mistake and I now lost $65 on absolutely nothing. (And by the way, I had pointed out to her that I thought she may had only refunded me once, and asked if I could come back (and if she would remember me) if I noticed a problem with my bank statement and she said absolutely, she'd be there and remember us. I have 13 cartilage and body piercings and came here because I thought it would be cheaper than going to a professional piercer (I was wrong). I ended up spending $90 for 3 lobe piercings, which is probably $30 steeper than I'd have spent going to a tattoo/piercing place and getting them professionally done. You also have to buy the pair of earrings, so I had to buy 4 earrings even though I was only getting 3 piercings. They use piercing guns, which are unsafe because they are NOT sterile. The piercings took probably 4 months to heal, which is way too long for lobes, and they all got infected. If you want to get a lobe piercing, get it done somewhere that uses sterile hollow needles. Piercing guns are basically blunt force trauma to your ear. Also, don't let anyone near your cartilage with a piercing gun because that'll shatter your cartilage. Next time, I'll just go to a local tattoo parlor. read more

To anyone thinking about getting their ears pierced here, THINK AGAIN. First, when I went to pick out the earrings, they were out of all of the small to midsize gold ones that looked like real gold. The ones I got were supposedly gold, but did not feel or look like it. They also used a piercing gun- which is a big no-no according to my doctor. This can and WILL result in the ear piercings being too tight and getting stuck in your ear. I was very careful and attentive when it came to cleaning- I used the solution they gave me twice a day as instructed. Less than a week after I got my piercings, one of them almost fully sunk into my ear. The skin around it was red, swollen, inflamed, and had clear fluid coming out of it. I had to go to the doctor and get them both removed. When I explained the situation, the doctor told me that someone comes specifically from Piercing Pagoda or Claire's with this exact problem once or twice a month. I now have to wait another year to get them pierced again. Please save your money- the piercing services here are still expensive even if they were done correctly. Go to a professional, trained body piercer or your doctor's office. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

My daughter and i were defrauded on New Years day. We were told what our piercings would cost but when i got home i found four unautherized charges on my bill - two for cleaning solution and two for extended warranties. Neither were discussed with us. This is fraudulent and the parent company will not refund. The phone number on the receipt rings and rings. HORRIBLE. JUST HORRIBLE. Where do I start? If I could, I would give this location a zero. I've been to this location multiple times to buy earrings for my baby and there was no one at the kiosk. What kind of business is this? When there is someone there, it's a heavy-set lady on the phone speaking another language and completely ignoring me. There was another ocassion that I asked to speak to the manager because the salesperson could not understand what I was looking for and the manager was worse than the salesperson, she could not speak and could not understand English. She was also speaking another language with her associates which was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The staff and the manager has poor knowledge of their merchandise and lacks professionalism. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - BUYER BEWARE! Sadly, I've given this location so many chances and it has failed me so many times. I've started shopping at a different location.
