I called the 877-826-2533 e boutique # before visiting the store as the store was about a 40 minute drive. I knew I wanted an Alhambra bracelet and was inquiring on the 877 # some questions before heading to the store. I got to the store mostly knowing what I wanted and the door was locked, but a man opened it for me. I had a woman come up to me and I let her know I wanted to shop for and look at a few Alhambra bracelets as well as their new Ladybug bracelet. She sent another woman out to help me and told me that the only Alhambra bracelets that they had were the ones they had out on display with the diamonds and they were out of stock on all the other ones. She then brought over the ladybug bracelet because that was in the display case, and I knew that was in stock, and I tried it on. I was not crazy about it as I really wanted the Alhambra in blue, white MOP or another color I can not think of the name. She even went on to tell me that the ladybug could not get wet and could not even get hand lotion on the ladybug or it would ruin it (something the e boutique and Miami store told me was not accurate) She did not offer to order anything for me, and did not offer me any advice at all and was quick to be dismissive . As I am walking out I see the other woman over there with ladies drinking champagne and I was not even offered a glass of water. I get offered water at a bare minimum at any high end store I walk into. I called the 877-826-2533 e boutique on my way home and they put me in touch with a lovely woman names Maryna from Miami Design District who took the time to talk with me, send me photos of the colors available (or available to order as they have some out of stock) and emailed me a link to pay for it all within 5 minutes of the call. Someone from corporate should really look into how this store handles some of their walk ins. I had on yoga pants and a t shirt and certainly felt judged.

We almost didn't go into Diamonds Direct, as I wanted a sapphire, but we were on Glades, so we figured we'd look. When we walked into Diamonds Direct everyone greeted us warmly. Bri was with another customer and introduced us to Marina. Right away we saw three gigantic displays of beautiful vivid sapphire rings in every color of the rainbow. They also had engagement ring settings in every price range, from in-house to Tacori. Marina is the best! She is a pro and has been a joy to work with. She's patient and focused and loves jewelry. Marina figured out exactly what style, profile, and weight I wanted in my ring, and ordered a curated selection of colorful sapphires to choose from that arrived in only a few days. Thanks to Marina, we finally found the perfect ring (a dainty yet detailed Verragio), had it set with the perfect stone (a vivid color change purple sapphire), and I had within a week! Plus Platinum Jewelry screwed me over TWICE and TOOK MY MONEY…read more I asked them for a watch overhaul. They took my money up front and eventually got back to me with the "fixed" watch, which was now 8 seconds faster than normal. Each time I asked them to fix the problem, they took the watch, "fixed" it, then returned it to me, but the watch was always off-sync. This continued for a total of 9 TIMES. I ended up asking for a refund because they continuously failed to fix the watch's issues, and they responded by showing me a Google result that claimed that it was normal for a watch to be out of sync give or take 10 seconds. Then why not tell me that before charging me $1000 for a watch that you can't even fix? I had another watch that I requested a price estimate for a movement cleaning. They took 4 DAYS to get back to me, claiming that they "wouldn't be able to fix the watch". I NEVER asked them to "fix" this watch, only asking them for a price estimate. When I opened the watch, I realized that they had tampered with the watch, with some components beyond repair. They refused to take responsibility for it, and initially refused to even acknowledge the fact that they tampered with the watch, straight up lying to my face. At some point they admitted to me that their mechanic wasn't used to fixing Breitling watches (this was a $50,000 watch they ruined!). TL;DR: Benjamin and his son Jacob both lied to me. They took my money for a watch they ultimately weren't even able to fix. They also messed up another one of my $50,000 BREITLING watches and refused to take responsibility for it. If you're going to do business with these people, TAKE THOROUGH PICTURES OF YOUR ITEMS, INSIDE AND OUT BEFORE YOU GIVE IT TO THEM. They will not take responsibility if things go wrong.
