It was that time of the year again and I came in here to get my wedding rings checked out. When my husband got my engagement band, he did the right thing and purchased a warranty on it. Since diamonds are included, Kay actually checks out my bands twice a year for free to make sure they are in tip top shape. The lady who helped us asked Chris if he wanted his ring cleaned as well, which I have never seen Wellington do that at all. Kudos to the sweet lady that helped us since she did her best with making sure that we were happy with our service. read more

This is the worst place ever. I come in here to buy my girlfriend a promise and find the perfect ring. I bought the lifetime warranty and after I give it to my girl I realized the ring was to big. I come back to the store and they say it will take two weeks but my girl wanted to wear it cause I brought it on our anniversary and she wanted to wear it. So we take it to the place across from Kay jewelers but they messed up because they popped off the side piece. So I take it back to Kay's and wait the two weeks. The original size was a 6 and we wanted a 5 with bumps. After the two weeks we come back and the ring looks horrible. The ring was discolored and was missing diamonds. So we send it back. Wait another two weeks and the ring was good but was not resized at all. So we send it back. At this point we have sent the ring back 2 times and it has been a month. So for a month my girl is wearing a ring that is to big and missing a side piece and has been waiting for a month for her perfect ring. So this final time we waited a week and a half and we come back and they say that the ring still isn't ready. And they say give it 5 days. So I give it 7 days to make sure they don't mess this up again. So I get to the store and the ring still isn't right. They never sized. I got my money back and I'm going somewhere where they don't make u wait a month and half for one ring. This was the worst experience ever. Not the fact that I waited but that the ring was perfect and was a one of a kind. I thought that I could depend on KAY JEWELERS one of the largest jewelry stores in the country to make my anniversary special and make my girls dream come true. Went to Kay's in Boynton Beach Mall to have my bracelet inspected and cleaned. Was tsken care about by a young man (Corey or Colby) who was very nice. Cleaned and inspected my bracelet and offered to clean my other jewelry. I will be back and will recommend Kay Jewelry in the Boynton Beach Mall!! Thanks again for being so helpful!!! read more

Went to get a refund for an item and an employee claimed they didn't have money in the register and refused to put it on my debit card. Went back a few days later and decided to do an exchange for the item that they didn't have in the store. So the employee orders it online for me. Here I am waiting for my item that was suppose to come in today but didn't. So I call to find out where my item is and customer service says my ordere was cancelled but they didn't know why. I went back to the store and they didn't know why it was cancelled either. So I request a refund again and now they say they have to mail me a gift card????? I'm so disappointed with this store and it's staff and customer service. No one seems to know anything ever. read more

I went there to purchase a wedding band that I had tried on a few days prior. When I arrived, there were 2 associates which were both helping other customers, so I waited. Since I was standing only a few feet away from one of them, an associate named Linda, I was a bit surprised that she did not even acknowledge that I was standing there. Clearly she lacks basic customer service skills. Having spent many years working in retail, I know that it is important to acknowledge a customer and perhaps tell them that someone will be with them as soon as possible. Well, for me that did not happen. I waited about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement from Linda. The other associate was much further away so I did not expect anything from her. Then another customer walks up and about a minute later another associate arrives, perhaps just coming back from a break or something. He immediately asks the other customer waiting if he needs help with something. At this point I would have expected Linda to let her co-worker that I was next but she didn't. So I chimed in and let him know myself. Did he then apologize and come over to help me? Nope. Instead he asked me to wait a moment and proceeded with that customer. I was shocked! To make matters worse, Linda finished with her customer before he finished with his and then she proceeded to ask another customer who had literally just walked up if he needed help! At this point I knew she was blatantly ignoring me because when I told her coworker that I was next she did look up at me briefly. Needless to say I did not purchase the ring I came for. read more
