The escargot is probably the best I've had. I loved how buttery it was and the snail itself was so fresh and tender. I'd definitely repurchase this on another visit. I even dipped some of the baguette bread (which had the best crunch!) into the butter and it was perfection! For our mains, we got the sea bass with lentils and the Alaskan halibut, and both were prepared perfectly down to taste and texture. Everything about its execution felt very intentional. The halibut was baked with the right amount of breading and the sea bass was pan seared to give that nice crispy texture to the skin. My only critique is I thought the lentils were a bit too overpowering because of the huge quantity, but honestly, everything else was amazing enough that I'm not bothered by it.

Overall this restaurant layout was pretty cool and the night we went the noise level was moderate but I can see that if its packed this place could get loud. They offer outdoor seating as well that looked cozy. Our waiter and his team was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed so service was exceptional. Food is always an area that I leave up to everyone's own taste. To me I felt some of the dishes needed more salt but I always enjoy my food from how the chef prepped it so I can try new dishes.

Which was too bad because the dark chocolate paired with the chantilly cream was exquisite. While I have absolutely no complaints about the food, I do wonder when they will address the ventilation issue. We dealt with this in the past and thought nothing of it but when we started sweating into our first course because no air was coming by, we realized it was a problem. Additionally, the service was impeccable. Kinan and the team did everything they could to make us feel welcome. However there was a young hostess with pink hair and the most beautiful, ethereal face who upon our arrival looked at us with an expression of disapproval. I could've been just reading her wrong or she could just be one of those Gen Z people who refuse to smile and just want to be transactional but I don't know...in such cramped quarters, everyone's nonverbal cues are thrust upon you. Highly recommend Perle although we'll probably return in the winter when it's much colder.

Two of my friends and I visited this restaurant on Sunday, the 9th of this month. Reservations are required, but we went in around 5:20pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. When we were leaving, the crowd started coming in around 7:15pm. They also serve brunch in the mornings (only on Sat/Sun). We got a very nice welcome from their hostess and she took us to our table. We ordered their French Onion Soup, Omelette-- that came with Black Pepper, Boursin Cheese, and Boston Lettuce. We also got their famous Big Mec Burger (Wagyu Double Cheeseburger, Bordelaise Sauce with fries. I love to have salad so much with my meal, that we also shared an Endive Salad that came with: Avocado, Anchovy, Walnuts and Sherry Vinaigrette. I told my server Karena & Rachel who replaced her when she went on break, not to put Anchovy on my salad. The dressing was well balanced. For dessert, we got Chocolate Soufflé and for cocktails, Adam, the bartender made delicious, not over powering cocktails for 2 of my friends. They were: Martinez Cocktail, and Hemingway To Your Heart. Even one of their managers Sierra checked in on us along with both of our servers. Shout out to the chef and their pastry chef. Food is super delicious, fresh and just yummy! Prices are not cheap, portions can be a little bigger. Only street and metered parking. Gender neutral restrooms were also very clean. It was a very memorable evening. They also have another location in Hollywood, if you are in that area. Thank you all very much for a lovely dining experience! I first brought her here when she was just a few months old. Now she's preparing for college. Walking inside feels like stepping into a cozy neighborhood French bistro. White tablecloths, soft neutral tones, chandeliers, and fresh floral centerpieces create a calming and elegant atmosphere. Let's talk about the prices. The menu is still the same, but the prices have increased quite a bit in just a matter of months. If you haven't been here in a while, take a look at the menu before you return so you don't get sticker shock. To me, some dishes is double what I remember paying. At the same time, the portions are a little smaller. One thing to keep in mind: La Vie is only open for dinner, from 5:00 PM. to 9:00 PM. I also highly recommend making a reservation. The dining room fills up quickly, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, so planning ahead will save you the long wait or perhaps being sent away. Dinner time. Every entrée comes with a house salad, soup of the day, and complimentary coffee or hot tea. As I order hot tea everywhere I eat, that little perk is heaven. For our appetizer, we shared the Escargots de Bourgogne ($19). The escargot was fresh, tender, and chewy. Every piece soaked up the garlicky herb butter. They also provide complimentary Vietnamese baguette. The baguette arrives warm with a lightly crisp crust and a soft, fluffy interior. But the real magic is dipping it into the bubbling garlic butter from the escargot. For my entrée, I ordered the Herb Butter Lobster Tail ($56). The presentation was beautiful, but the lobster itself didn't quite live up to the presentation. It was bland. My daughter ordered the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass ($46), and that ended up being the star of the evening. She loved it. The skin was crisp while the fish remained moist, flaky, and buttery. For dessert, we ordered the Crème Caramel (Flan). The server told us the chef offered it on the house due to presentation reasons. But I strongly believe it was because when they asked if my daughter and I were new customers, since they had changed owners, I told them I had been coming to this restaurant for over two decades, and that I brought my daughter here when she was still in a stroller. The owners may have changed, but I believe the chef is the same and he probably recognized me. Either way, it was a great treat. Thank you. The flan was silky smooth, creamy, and topped with a rich caramel sauce that wasn't too sweet. The servers have always been attentive, professional, and welcoming. Our dinner for two came to about $160, including tax and a 20% tip. See you in my next Yelp adventure.

The only thing I would say could improve would be the service. Our server did not correctly note what was ordered and had to check several times. There was also no mention of it being a Birthday dinner for my lady, which I noted when booking this reservation and upon arrival.

Last night, after a long day at work, my partner and I decided to go out for dinner. We were looking something Middle Eastern, Armenian, Lebanese, Arabic, etc. After a hectic day, we wanted some place that would provide us with a quint, quiet, clean, good service, great food and since I have been to this place several times before, we went to Pierre Garden located at 145 North Maryland Ave. We found at this place everything we were looking for. It was as always an amazing experience and I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for all this qualities above mentioned. I am no expert in this food. However, after 15 years in the industry and been a chef here in Glendale, I am certain I know what a good food should taste like and here it does it for me! I am a meat lover, nevertheless, with our European background, Polish, we love a fresh / tasty salad with our food in order to have a balance diet and their salad is nothing short than amazing. Besides loving meat and greens, I am a huge lover of a Good Rice and their rice is just unbelievable. Last night, it seems like it was cooked just for us. How fresh, moist and tasty it was! And as I already mentioned before, we are meat lovers and my favorite at this place is their Chicken BBQ Kebab. It was to die for it. I hope next time you are in the neighborhood, you will stop by and check it out for yourselves! Wow. This place is incredible from the food to the people to the environment. Ive came here 2 times with a few of my college roomies and I must say this place has really grabbed our attention. The food, my OH my is delicious their kobe burger love it! the truffle fries amazing. onion soup is wow I could go on and on. I don't see why most of these people are so quick to judge even if its empty they can still be busy as I've heard they also do deliveries. AND they make the food from scratch HELLO wake up AMERICA of course its going to take long for the food to arrive there making it fresh four us. especially when a group of people come at once to order heck I know id be waiting a while till my food came its common sense which apparently most of these yelpers do not have. Wanted to go a give a try of french food. Took some business partner for lunch. This is my 1st time going there. Impressed how clean it was with white table cloth, white plates and napkins. Well groomed and clean dressed young waiter, ready to translate the menu. Loved the set up, loved the vegetable sandwich. My guests ordered something with chicken, they just loved the food. It felt so good to listen the old french familiar songs, so pleasant, that we were able to speak and listen each other unlike most of the restaurants that you have to yell to be able to hear each other. Thumbs up, I want to take all my clients that need to have a quiet but great lunch, and the price? I don't know what Sara A experienced but that is not what I experienced at all. The service was great. The server gave us the perfect amount of attention. The place looked beautiful ( we need more places like this in Glendale ). I think it's safe to say that it is the one and only French restaurant in Glendale and I could safely say that it is the BEST french restaurant in LA. The food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. We had a dish with shrimp and chicken, cooked with zucchini and green beans. The spices used in the dish were out of this world. This was the best shrimp dish I have ever had. My husband had a fish n chips entree with a mango salsa. Boy was the salsa Yummy. Last night was my first visit to the Pierre Garden restaurant. If we had paid any attention to some of the reviews on this site we would have missed out on a wonderful dinner!. Our group of five sampled many dishes and the food was very good. The Mussels were a particular favorite--resplendent with a delicious garlic sauce and cooked just right. Everyone really enjoyed the grilled salad too. We tried the Duck breast, Kobe Beef Burger and a Pork dish. All exceeded expectations. . This cuisine is a fusion one, and a bit different, but the chef is very talented and definitely knows what he is doing. Service was good and most willing. I came here with a few of my friends and we were all amazed. It is a place worth going again! The lounge/bar area was very nicely decorated. Waiters were also good, i don't remember his name but this guy explained all the dishes i had questions on from the menu. One of my friends had the kobe burger with the truffle fries, my other friend had the pierre garden salad with the french onion soup, my other friend had this dish i don't remember the name of but it was basically shrimp with chicken and zucchini. I had the la ceasar de pierre with fries. The prices were worth the amount we ate and none of us had any complaints and had a fun time. Pierre Garden has been my go to restaurant for years now! The quality of the food and the overall experience of the restaurant is incredible! I've been to many events at Pierre Garden and each time I've been impressed. Petros and his staff are attentive and will do anything to make sure your experience there is perfect. I had a wonderful time being a part of a live music performance/audition on Tuesday night. The location works great, one block off Brand, the building and atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. Jessica tended bar, served food, and took care of almost everything. Everything with a great smile! I got an opportunity to meet the owner and was also impressed. He has a great location, from what I witnessed INCREDIBLE food, and a staff that makes you feel very welcome. Loved this place! the food was amazing and satisfied my taste buds 100%. Compliments to the chef!!! The owner also passed by asking if we needed anything but all was great. We had the chance to chat with him and he explained how everything they serve is freshly made as we order which is why it can take a little longer than most places. I had been waiting to try this for a while now; however, reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant going in. But I did go last weekend and man did I have a great experience. I wasn't too familiar with the food, so I had a few questions, but the waiter was awesome and we had great service. Prices are good and it's so nice and clean, would definitely come back soon. I love Kobe burgers so being a fanatic I had to try the one here! It was delicious I paired it with some hummus and then had some sarma (pasous tolma). The Kobe burger was really well prepared. I wasn't expecting anything giving them a 5 star due to previous reviews, but I really liked it. The freshness was awesome. I have referred all my friends here and this place quickly became our regular hangout for great fun night out or just a casual hangout to enjoy some tea. The food here is delicious! I love the French fries, Caesar salad, and the tuna tartar! I wish they served lattes and cappuccinos though. They only serve Turkish coffee. For alcohol, they have wine, champagne, and beer. No mixed drinks or other liquors. They let you bring your own bottle with a corking fee. They have a belly dancer on weekends. I think she comes after 9-10pm, not sure on the exact time. The DJ, I think his name is Mahik, he's great! I personally love the mixes he plays! So, if you've read my review this far, you have to try this place. Great hookah, great food, and best of all, Saro is there to makes sure everything runs beautifully smooth!

Not only that, they were either out of or didn't have enough of so many things. No shishito peppers, ran out of filet mignon after a handful of orders, out of the sake we ordered, only one bottle of the wine we ordered was available...it was almost comical. In addition, service was abysmally slow & forgetful, food came out cold, and wasn't that great/cooked correctly either. My "rare" filet mignon was medium at best. The "rib chop" my coworkers got was flaaat as hell and overcooked with inconsistent presentation/preparation. Can't send my overcooked filet back of course because it's the last one. Crème brûlée was actually soup in the middle. Bread pudding was dense and unpleasant. Potatoes were cold. Given our group dropped almost three grand, it was pretty damn lackluster. It's too bad because it's in a great location and has nice ambiance, but that doesn't make up for everything else. Brownie sundae was the lone highlight.
