My partner and I came with the Red Dining Book, reservations were straightforward! The ambience of this restaurant is clean and romantic. Everything was delicious here from the appetizers to the desserts, but I'm still thinking about the escargot and the endives salad. They were seriously spectacular and unique.

Visited this place for a brunch with friends one saturday. Street parking is a struggle, so carpooling is recommended. Our server was so-so, didn't checked on us after serving our food since It was a busy day. Wide selection of french pastries and worth to try. cozy ambience, not too crowded and noisy. I'll give it three stars for the not so convenient parking and our server was not attentive.

We love this place. This is our second time here, and we are just blown away by the delicious food! This time, we got a smattering of items and shared it family style. We got the Leeks, Hamachi Crudo, the Endive Salad, and the 8 oz flank steak. All were absolutely delicious but the stand out dish of the night was the LEEKS! I recommend if they are showcasing different tasting items or "snacks" (you'll see this to the side of the menu), give them a try. The leeks were phenomenal (see picture). They were so tender and the flavor was incredible, fresh and also buttery at the same time. Must try! Although it may be only temporarily on the menu. Their cocktails were delicious as well--we got the pear cocktail and the house Old Fashioned. Very well balanced. For dessert we got the chocolate soufle, but sadly we were disappointed in this. It looked so delicious but it tasted a tad bit bitter and not sweet enough. We wouldn't order it again, but we have confidence their other desserts are very delightful. Overall, great date night or special occasion dinner out. Deliciously yummy food!

Had a dining credit to burn before the end of the year and figured why not (finally) give Petit Trois' famous Big Mec a try. A couple years ago, we went to Chez Maggy in Denver and learned from our server that Petit Trois in LA is also Chef Ludo's restaurant. While many of the menu items are the same, the price difference between Chez Maggy and Petit Trois is crazy to witness. $18 for French onion soup vs $25 in LA. I mean honestly $25 for this soup is just plain ridiculous. We ordered: - Bread & butter: was pleasantly surprised by a crispy, crusty but not hard baguette and rich delicious French butter - Belgian Endive Salad: reminiscent of a Caesar with kind of an anchovy tapenade/pesto (idk what you call it) underneath--endive was crunchy and so refreshing in a light sherry vinaigrette, a perfect balance to the richness of everything else - Steak Frites: the bavette was cooked well but there was way too much bearnaise on top - Big Mec: huge, rich burger and the chopped steak patty had a very interesting texture, and delicious with the bordelaise sauce - Banana Cream Pie: yummy pie crust and a pleasantly but not too sweet banana cream and sliced fresh bananas Place was pretty packed on a Saturday evening and has a nice French bistro vibe. The smell of browned butter was STRONG. Service was friendly and good, no complaints. Free street parking available around the block.

Great burger but I am sooooo glad I got the sauces on the side because I didn't like the sauce it came with but the wagyu burger was fire by itself. Does not that sauce I promise you. Get some hot sauce if anything. The hash brown dish we got was also amazing it had habanero sauce on and under it. Delicious! Fast service as well.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Parking sucks around here as usual. We reserved for 7:30pm arrived early at 7 and still had to wait until 7:30 so reservations is a must. Ordered French onion soup, steak frites and duck confit. Steak was very tender and marinated well, it was 5/5. French onion was ok and duck confit portion could be bigger for the price and need to be more tender. Ambiance and setting similar to Bouillon at Paris.

The French onion soup is a must!! and I love the escargot!

Hands-downnnn one of my favorite all-time restaurants!! I'm always finding my way back here, literally anything you get is delicious, but highly recommend the Big Mec burger!! It comes drenched in sauce, I've never had anything like it! Chris was our server today, who is absolutely delightful, but in general, I've never had a bad experience with service or vibes!

Absolutely loved it! I ordered the escargot which was perfectly flavored and served. The bread and butter than came with it was also delicious. I ordered the trout almandine which was perfectly flavored and cooked. The dessert was a napoleon which ended the night perfectly. The restaurant itself was really pleasurable and comfortable. The service was great and I never felt unattended.

The ambience is very nice--elegant and polished. Service was also solid and attentive throughout. The food, however, was pretty underwhelming overall. The beef tartare stood out as the highlight and was genuinely good, but the steak didn't live up to expectations--it was overcooked and lacked flavor, which was disappointing for a place like this. Overall experience: 4/10. Nice atmosphere and service, but the food didn't justify the price or reputation.

The chocolate soufflé. Triple chocolate decadence. A must order

Great authentic feeling French bistro with beautiful food. The food is so delicious that it made up for the mediocre cocktails. We had the Petit Trois Martini and the house Old Fashioned. Both were quite sweet for our taste. But the food...The FOOD is incredible. Had the butter lettuce salad (yummiest dressing ever) steak frites and duck confit. Chocolate soufflé for dessert. At first I was dubious about the Vegan gelato, but then I understood it would've been too rich with full fat regular ice cream. Everything was so flavorful, perfectly cooked and balanced. Obviously Ludo Lefevre knows what he's doing. My only note is that the bar should be up to the same level as the food. It should be cleaned more often and the bartender could've been more helpful.

My family and I came here for lunch. They have children options: cheeseburger, butter pasta, and an omelet with frites. We tried some cocktails: the PEAR and the FLEUR DU MAL SPRITZ. Both were good. The Fleur du Mail Spritz was really tasty. I would recommend trying it if you like jasmine flavors. My hubs and I both got the price fix that runs about $44. I ordered Boston lettuce, the trout almondine and the choux chantilly. Every was delicious. The trout was a little small in size but cooked to perfection. A nice crispy char and seasoned nicely. My husband ordered the roasted beets salad that he really enjoyed that. The steak frites were okay and the chocolate mousse wasn't too sweet. Overall, service was friendly and attentive. I would return here in the future should I happen to be in the area.

I love this spot! We tried the escargot and it was excellent - comparable to what I've had in Paris. This time we ordered the steak frites and the steak tartare for lunch , and both portions were huge, so definitely come hungry. We couldn't finish. The restaurant is very small but has a lively, fun vibe. Service is attentive, though it can get busy. There's valet parking in the back for $17, which is super convenient. I'll be back for the French onion soup!

Petit Trois Le Valley delivered a beautiful brunch experience from start to finish. The dishes looked as good as they tasted. Fresh chicken chopped salad , a rich and creamy hashbrown chilaquiles eith egg dish layered with sauce and avocado, perfectly balanced yogurt with berries and granola, and a smooth latte with beautiful latte art paired with a fresh pastry. Elegant presentation, cozy French atmosphere, and every plate felt thoughtfully prepared. Great spot for brunch, coffee, and a relaxed upscale dining experience.

Escargot. Simple, traditional and packed with flavor.

The beets and nuts were nice but pretty overwhelmed by the horseradish, even when I tried to avoid getting any of it on my fork. And I'm not a person who hates horseradish, by any means. I would try the Boston lettuce salad next time. Steak frites - the fries were evenly crisp (fried in clarified butter), the herb butter sauce was fresh and light, the steak was a nice medium to medium-rare, even on a piece this small. I would definitely get this again. I'm not sure what the portion difference is between the prix and the regular, but this felt well worth the price we paid as part of the prix fixe. Big Mec Burger - The burger, while cooked nicely medium rare, was a difficult knife and fork burger, due to it sitting in a pool of demi glace. The flavors of the burger were nice, but they might get a little taken over by the sauce. It is an incredibly expensive burger, and I question it's worth. Chocolate mousse - topped with cacao nibs, dark chocolate shavings and hazelnuts. A very rich milk chocolate flavor and a much stretchier almost pudding like texture than I have encountered in a mousse before. Honestly not my favorite dish. I would try the puff pastry option next time! We also got: French onion soup - big pieces of onion in here, that they maybe did not cut the entire bottom of the onion off of. Peppery, but not overly so. It was flavorful with a very satisfying amount of cheese, baked perfectly on the top. Felt like it could have used one more element....salt? Or an herb? It was good but we didn't find it outstanding, especially for the price. Overall, only the prix lunch deal (12-4 M-F) felt worth the price. I'd definitely come back here for that. We were interested in a couple of other menu items that we didn't try, so we'll likely be back someday. I've had better versions of everything we ordered at a better price elsewhere in town, tho. We ate in the bar portion of the restaurant. Service was helpful, friendly and leisurely. Probably a place where you'll have to flag your waiter down, as they're trying to let you enjoy your meal unhurried and uninterrupted. Bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Patio area was closed due to rain when we dined but it looks like a nice space with plenty of shade.
