I got the potato gravlax and it was amazing! I was afraid it wouldn't be enough food (felt more like a small appetizer) but it actually ended up being decent sized and pretty filling. I also got a mushroom and cheese pastry. They have tons of pastries to choose from and the servers are really helpful in deciding what would be a good option to get. We've ordered from this bakery a few times in the past, mostly for their jamon buerre. I believe it was off the menu for a while (correct me if I'm wrong), but i saw it available once again so I decided to grab two today. Our previous experiences were great, however this time was extremely disappointing. For the price (~$16 per sandwich on Toast), you would expect more substance but this was how it was looking. One measly slice of ham and cheese, and the butter barely tasted present. I'm bummed that such a great recipe has been reduced to this poor excuse of a jamon buerre. Super trendy vibe .... Walked in for a quick coffee break , seemed crowded and noisy . Ordered a latte to go , with one barista working the coffee bar with a lot of patrons didn't seem a little ideal during lunch time . Service food and ambience are great! Even if you are going for a meal, make sure to order a pastry to go! It's really difficult to make a choice! I ordered my coffee in French and practiced all weekend to place my order in French but I didn't want to embarrass my guest or server. (Note:I could have totally done it too!). Came here on a Sunday with my cousins to catch up. We happened upon this place because it was a middle meeting point for each of us. I am so glad we came here because it's so gorgeous and inviting. I Oh La La is such a cute spot where you can either order up by the register or you can sit down and order from your table, which I find very convenient, especially for people who are more introverted. Both the interior and exterior are quite picturesque. The few people I spoke to today were really helpful and kind. Service was top tier in my opinion. The brown sugar cinnamon latte was so well balanced and not too sweet, which I prefer anyway. It also came out super fast. I got there kinda late, so they didn't have a lot of pastries left. But I did get to try both the maple sea salt scone & blueberry scone, and both were amazing. I personally love scones so I'm so glad I tried these. We each ordered an entree, each ordered a coffee drink, and shared a chocolate almond croissant, fig & cranberry pastry, and a tiramisu. I can't speak for the entrees my friends had, but I did have the Croque Madame and it was good. Not, "OMG this is the best croquet madame I ever had!" But just good. Same went for the pastries. They were good. Not great. I would say that the tiramisu lacked in coffee flavor. The coffee they used to soak the lady fingers tasted watered down. But overall, I don't feel that the food was any better than any other local brunch spot. My favorite from here is the mushroom pastry with cheese on top (see photo) but the one I had today was not crispy, the mushroom ‍ flavor was lacking, a bit saltier than usual, and the seasonal was bland. The table next to us ordered the eggs Benedict, breakfast platter, and French toast, and while I try not to judge a dish by its color palette... everything was a consistent shade of beige. Tan, brown toast, khaki potatoes -- the kind of color story that screams "sepia filter" more than "French café." That said, my breakfast burrito was the plot twist I didn't see coming. Surprisingly delicious -- wonderfully eggy (in a good, brunchy way), not bogged down by filler potatoes, and brightened by sautéed peppers, onions, and a punchy salsa verde that tied it all together. My wife's egg-and-cheese croissant was fine, though not exactly whispering ooh la la either. We spent $33 before tax and tip for those two items, which feels steep for what you get. And as a bonus round of irritation, their QR payment system "suggests" tips after tax -- a subtle but mildly obnoxious move. Made a pit stop at Oh La La for lunch with a friend. For starters, despite being a Tuesday afternoon, parking was fairly difficult to find unless you're willing to walk several blocks. At least it was free, though! I was surprised that they had just opened their indoor dining area, but I knew I just had to try their Brioche Eggs Benedict. This was indeed a treat that I rarely consider. I can't say that it was the best I ever had, but every part of the eggs benedict was tasty and perfectly seasoned. (Yes, that means not oversalted, too!) My friend had their Potato Gravalax. The potatoes were the perfect roast, and the salmon was tasty as well. Both were the perfect light brunch items. We also had their iced lattes, which had a remarkable flavor. The beans were subtly sweet and a medium boldness, just enough to be noticeable but not dark enough to be bitter or strong. The staff were present, as was the service, and this was indeed a nice brunch spot. From the entrance to the tables, everything was well decorated to provide a nice "under the sunlit trees in a cabin" kind of ambiance. Ambience is cute, the decor is very bright and chic, some table have natural sunlight. Croque monsieur is just a normal toasted ham & cheese sandwich.
