a pepperoni pizza in a box

I first experienced Piezano's while in Lincoln on our house hunting trip for my new job. I asked the hotel front desk for a recommendation for "local" pizza vs national chain crap. He recommended Piezano's but warned me it would take awhile but worth the wait. My first order was Calzone and was huge/awesome. It stuff my wife and me. So now I live in Lincoln and I've done calzone again, but tonight it was pizza. It was so dang good. I will never order chain pizza as long as I live it Lincoln.

This is by far, the best pizza in Lincoln. Ever since the new owners took over a few years back, everything has massively improved. We have tried both dine-in and carryout, and every time it was a hot and tasty meal. We've introduced several friends to Piezano's and they absolutely love it. There is just something about their crust that is just so much better than anything else. And the sauce is very, very tasty. They don't overdo any element; it's just a harmonious balance of awesome. Note their parking lot only fits maybe 8 cars and their dining area is not the biggest. And unless you're westbound on South St, it's a tricky place to drive to, but well worth it! I know I'm a bad Nebraskan for saying this, but I can never go back to Valentino's or anything else again.

I love this place. The pizza is delicious. The staff are kind and efficient. The lunch buffet is tasty and only $6.99 - includes a fresh, simple salad bar, pizza that is refreshed frequently, and bread sticks. Sunday night is all you can eat spaghetti night. The menu includes pizza, pasta dishes, and salads. Pasta dishes are large enough for 2 people, or take home leftovers. Carry out is efficient.

12" pepperoni, green pepper and jalapeno. Very good/filling.

It was great then it was bleah and now under new ownership (I've heard, not confirmed) we decided to try again last night. It's still expensive, relatively speaking, but it was rulllly good! Heavy thick dough, lots of whole milk cheese, sharp sauce that balances it all. Well executed and friendly service. I had my standard (pepperoni, green pepper and jalapeno). Wife had pepperoni and cream cheese. Kids loved their pie too. Big hit! Welcome back to our house, Piezano's.

5 pounds of crust anyone lol

From the VERY first bite, I could kick myself for not going in sooner. I've had ample opportunities to visit this place and for one reason or another never did. Finally wandered in - their menu is massive, and the pizza is SO flavorful. If you're trying to destroy your diet, order the garlic chips.

First time here for quite awhile. Years ago this place was called Cesar's. And they had a pizza known as an empire. Ordered their large pizza primo. They told us it would take 40-45 minutes as it had 20 ingredients. 45 minutes later, the pizza came out and it was massive. At least 2" thick No one in the group was able to eat more than three slices. Outstanding

Go for the Caesar's pie. If you're not into massive portions, split it with a friend. It's amazing.

I ordered spaghetti with marinara and a side salad. I specifically asked for no cucumbers, but the salad still came out with them. It's one vegetable I absolutely hate, but I didn't send it back, just wish a little more attention had been paid to that request. The pasta itself wasn't very good. The marinara barely coated the noodles and didn't have much flavor, so I ended up asking for a side of Alfredo just to make it better. Overall, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but the food didn't impress me. The highlight of the experience was definitely the server handling such a large group so well.

The lemon drop martini was great, a little on the south side, which I don't mind. The Caesar salad was a good starter, as were a few appetizers (not pictured) that we started our meal with. I wish I remember the name of my pasta dish, but I don't see it on the full menu. We had a limited menu for the company party, but this was a cavatappi pasta with a white sauce, and I added shrimp to the dish. It was excellent! I also got to try The chicken Parmesan, lasagna, and a few other dishes. All were great for the price point. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for a casual date night, or a group event of any kind!

Hostess was very prompt and we were brought into a private dining room for our dinner Our server Tatum was wonderful. She was very attentive and we enjoyed the service. Tasting menu can be found online and its 185 per person. We ordered ala carte. We ordered Crab sanchetti, grilled octopus, hamachi sashimi, tajarin dala forma and a 48oz steak to share. We had a group of 7. Ambiance was fantastic till the other party of about 10 came into the private room. They were very noisy and not very considerate. Our drinks came promptly. I had a midnight mist, hubby had the raspberry berret. And my mom in law had some red dessert wine. Food was fanstastic. The hamachi sashimi was delicious - super fresh. Oysters were absolutely delish very well shelled. The grilled octopus was tender and not overly cooked. The steak was tender and delicious in the au jus. The mash was whipped and absolutely creamy like cloud. We ordered the 48 oz ribeye steak to share it was delicious and they do slice it up for you so that it is easy to share. The spaghetti tajarin dala forma was made table side and the head of service explained what he was doing step by step. Unfortunately, this experience was marred by our neighbours for the night as they were enjoying themselves too much. The shisito pepper on the mash was nicely crusted and absolutely delish. Even the onion, and green onions were devoured. After that, we ordered dessert. I had the stone fruit chocolate tart and it was decadent. Chocolate with light mint. Absolutely delicious It came with a price tag though. Great for occassions- like birthdays and anniversaries when you want to splurge A wonderful experience! Thank you to all at the Casa Bovina. Definitely a night to remember.

The first glass was very light second was darker. Taste - regular iced tea. Nothing special. Meals were to be served with bread rolls Bread rolls came with my soup Bread rolls were soft and fluffy absolutely delish. The soup was pretty good - just a bit too salty for me i could feel salt granules. My salmon palermo was a tad bit overcooked for me. Still edible but a bit dry. The pasta was also a tad bit overcooked- tried hubby's spaghetti and that was truly al dente. My spaghetti had broccoli and tomatoes in it. And it was pretty nicely seasoned with a splash of tang from lemon juice. Tiramisu was pretty good. I still prefer the traditional tiramisu with just cocoa powder on top. This has chocolate sauce on the top. Not a deal breaker - just my preference Overall, decent meal. Might not be back so soon though coz of hubby's meal.
