Very good pizza at this spot! They offer Pan and hand tossed which I really enjoy. I went with the pepperoni cream cheese and added Italian sausage. This was a really good pizza and I love the dough and crust. The only thing I would've changed is getting the pizza well done so it would be a little more crispy. I also got the one with the pineapple, which is a very unique pizza. It's almost like a jerk pulled pork pizza because the seasoning on there and then it also has white sauce really good special specialty pizza. They also have these Vic sticks. I got the half-and-half with the regular cheese and then the brown sugar, bourbon, bacon sticks, and those were packed with flavor as well. I would definitely come back here. read more

Three of us went here on a Tuesday evening. It wasn't very busy at 5:30. We sat right down and were helped right away. We ordered two large pizzas, a meat pizza and a pepperoni, and enjoyed an appetizer of bread and dipping sauce. Everything came out hot and was pretty quick, too. All items ordered were great. My wife and I have lived in Lincoln a little over a year and a half and gone to various Honest Abe's locations. On our granddaughter's second birthday we decided to try Vic's. It was a very disappointing experience. By way of background my wife and I have a combined 30 years of food service experience, a dozen of which were in the pizza business. We arrived Sunday, February 1 at 5:00 PM. When we entered we saw the restrooms and a sign telling us that if we were going to stay we would have table service. We took a booster seat and went into a room to our right which was poorly lit but had a brightly lit room behind a screen next to it. The tables appeared to be clean although the chairs were somewhat jumbled and there were straw wrappers on the floor. After sitting, ungreeted, for 5 minutes or so I went up to the register and told the attendant we were there. I offered to take the set-ups back to our table. She said she'd be happy to and would be right back to us. After a couple of minutes she came back to take drink orders. She did not take our food orders even though we'd been there for almost 10 minutes. Most of us ordered ice water or ice tea and my wife ordered hot water and some milk for our granddaughter after asking if both were available and being told both were. The server returned with our drink orders, forgot who ordered the ice teas and told my wife that hot water and the milk were unavailable. (In a restaurant?). We had to ask for the lights to be turned on. We ordered a couple of pizzas and a couple of house salads. One pizza order was for a 12" Cauliflower crust. She later returned telling us that the 12" was unavailable and we'd have to order a 16" which was not available in a pan crust. The server never offered a dressing choice for the salads. The salads came out on 12' plates heaped atop wax paper. We had to request plates and set-ups. The salads came with no serving utensils. They each consisted of some barely shredded iceberg, some shredded carrots, a few tiny cherry tomatoes, croutons and ranch dressing in 4 ounce plastic take-out portion cups with lids. Not much value for over $32. The "Veggie Supreme" had barely a sprinkling of a few vegetables. The Large "handtossed" pizza came out limp. We were not about to send it back half an hour into the experience. Overall it took over an hour and cost over $75. It's been almost 4 years since the Sebastian's was replaced with Vic's. It still looks like that change was just happening and is incomplete. The screen between the rooms has holes punched in it and doesn't fill the doorway. The room behind is a jumble of junk but fully lit. The bar is closed and just occupying the corner of the room and collecting dust. Some of the glass display cases are open and unlocked. read more

There were several pizzas styles ready to go, overall great value, pizza was decent for being under a heat lamp. You can still order made to order pizza, I would say for a quick in and out lunch it was good. read more

They used to have a Monday special where you could get a pizza for $10. It was a no-brainer to make that our Monday routine for a while. They've recently changed it to $12; still a good deal, but a few times we've had to wait a looooong time past our pick up time, which is frustrating, so it's not our default Monday dinner anymore. Almost perfect. The pizza was cooked perfectly, and so were the garlic cheese (Vic's Sticks). The ingredients appeared to be high quality and tasted great. The main issue was the seasoning. The garlic level on the Vic's Sticks basically ruined the whole meal. After one or two bites, there was no other flavor in the world, only garlic. It was at the point where I had almost forgot that other flavors existed. This was a real letdown, as you can see by the pictures, the food presentation was epic. When it was all said and done, we paid about $40 to have a medium pizza and cheese bread we couldn't even finish. This is a shame, there is some real promise here, but this time it was a fail. read more

This was a pretty frustrating experience. I purchased online for curbside pickup and was told my order would be ready at 2:50. I showed up on time, checked in to let the store know I had arrived, and parked in the front. At 3:05, I called because nobody had contacted me and I didn't see anyone looking around to check where I was. I asked where I needed to be parked for curbside pick up. They directed me to the side of the building. There were no signs for curbside pickup, nor did it say anything about where to park when I got my receipt online or when I clicked the link to check in. After 10 more minutes, someone came out with 1/2 my order, and had to go back in for the rest. By this time, it had been 25 minutes from my pickup time and the pizza was cold by the time I got home. The pizza is good, but I'm not sure if it's worth the inconsistency I faced just trying to pick it up. read more

Food is good, but the prices are BS. There are lots of pizza places in Omaha that make better pizza, but this is Lincoln pizza. It's good, but demands great money. The wings hit, but they really should have financing options for them $$$$ They have a diverse menu, but ultimately I find the pizza a little bit of a let down. It's a little too salty and too expensive. If it blew my shoes off I'd deal with it, but it doesn't. It's good pizza for great money. Juice isn't worth the squeeze. read more

The stamp collector is what we get everytime we order here! Holy cow cream cheese on pizza is incredible. That's when you know it's a good pizza joint; is if they add cream cheese. I believe you can get a medium/large size! The medium size pizza can easily feed two adults with big appetites! Prices are great for 19$ it's a great deal for some gourmet pizza, the dough is more crispy and dense rather than a pile of uncooked dough. I know! I know! I don't like giving such a low rating. Part of this is just personal preference. I like my pizza thin crusted and this is deeper dish. I'm also not a fan of thyme. I eat pretty much everything, but this spice and I just don't connect. And I believe there is a lot of thyme on this pizza. I do love the creativity. My hubby thought it was pretty good. We had a positive experience our first time with the manager and the kitchen people, but tonight was ridiculous!!! My husband and I arrived this evening at 6:30 pm. We sat outside on the patio for **20 - 30 minutes waiting on a server. The tables were dirty, and there were no cushions outside on the wrought iron chairs, so we put them down ourselves. Eventually, I walked in and respectfully asked the person at the register if we could have menus and get a server. She alerted the server. 10-15 minutes later, the server, a young dark-haired woman with a septum ring, eventually came out. She didn't apologize for the wait or the dirty table where we sat. Instead, she smugly said, "I see you already have menus," then took our drink orders and left for another 20 minutes. She never came back. As understanding and patient people, for the first 20 minutes, we tried to chalk the evening up to the place being busy; then, my husband went back into the restaurant twice to ask about the server. There was one other table. Twenty minutes later, we're waiting for drinks, and the server is speaking inside to a table of four people. Come on, guys. You can do better. read more

I really don't want to give this review, but I think it's important as a small business owner myself, to say something helpful. We were celebrating my moms 81st birthday for lunch. We seated ourselves and weren't greeted for about 10 minutes. The two guys in the kitchen or take out area didn't acknowledge us at all. It was awkward. Finally a wait staff shows up. Zoe. She was pleasant and nice. Our food was mediocre at best. Came out reasonably quick, however the pizza we had was quite greasy something's different about the crust. the bacon brown sugar breadsticks weren't as good as they were on our first visit and they weren't very warm. Caesar salad was weird. Lots of plastic containers. Would have thought at the price they would bring us a prepared salad. Either way, decor was beautiful and it was super clean. Maybe it was a bad day, but for $70 for lunch, I would expect more. read more

I hope it isn't a reflection of the owners as we love Honest Abe's, but we definitely won't be getting Vic's Pizza ever! I am a big fan of pan pizza and this place has very good "Nebraska pan." The fresh crust is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. It takes almost 40 minutes for it to be cooked so I prefer takeout. Air fry 6 minutes at 350F to bring back most of glory the next day. "The one with pineapple" is has the best flavor profile IMHO. This pizza was THICK! The crust was reminiscent of Chicago style deep-dish pizza that I had a few years ago, but not quite that deep. The crust was fluffy and airy while still having crispy edges. My wife and I were huge fans of the crust, but the bbq chicken pizza pictured here was kind of a let down. While the crust, cheese, and sauce were all prepared to perfection, the chicken tasted just like frozen Tyson chicken nuggets. A major disappointment that distracted from the delicious pizza. Went here with the family and had two absolutely delicious pizzas. The Stamp Collector and a 4 cheese. Crust was buttery and crispy on the outside and soft inside.
