We sat at the bar and had great service. Several tables are available, but all orders were placed at the bar. Overall the atmosphere was very clean and well decorated. You could call it a clean towny bar. Drinks were good, Bloody Mary was pretty standard (would have been better if we made it before the Bloody Mary bar closed). Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. Then split the wings, price was very reasonable. Wings were crispy and delicious, then came with a "bucket of sauces" - see picture. It was fun to mix and match. The restaurant, which used to be Gus' Pizza, with the pizza prep area in the front window, was reconfigured and remodeled several years ago. We sat at the bar and boards on the wall noted drink specials, food specials, and mocktails. They also had about 10 draft beers available. We ordered some garlic cheese bread, and I had a red wine while we waited for our pepperoni sausage pizza. If seated at the bar, you can order there, otherwise there is a station where you can order and then head to a table to wait for your food or wait to grab carryout. They had two double deck ovens, and were busy, but our service was attentive. The dining area was full early on a Saturday night with families and sports teams. Our pizza, with house made crust, and hand seasoned sauce had delicious flavors with a sausage nugget carefully placed on each pepperoni slice. Despite the name, Roadhouse Pizza also features hoagies, sandwiches, burgers, and more. If I lived closer I would be a regular patron at Roadhouse for sure.

Great decor inside and a small patio for those warm summer months. I ordered a two meat plate (pulled pork and sausage). This came with two sides (fries and mac & cheese). Talk about a lot of food. I was stuffed. Everything tasted great with that original bbq sauce flavor. What an unexpected surprise to find such a cool bbq joint in a quaint little community. I would drive out of my way for a return visit. Keep bringing the great service and great bbq J's.

The beans had so many good reviews I felt compelled to try them, and they weren't bad just seemed like basic canned beans with some pulled pork thrown in. The pulled pork for the sandwich was fine, but came smothered in what appeared to be paprika, nothing special. Potato salad ingredients were nicely sized, but it was bland. The barbecue sauce might be homemade and you could feel the grittiness of the sugar crystals in it, which was surprising but good, and had a little bit of heat to it. I snuck a bite of my kids' mac and cheese after my two year old took a bite and said, "bleck." The Mac and cheese had the right amount of creaminess and the noodles were cooked to the right amount of tenderness to keep it from tasting like it's been sitting all day, but it seemed very bland and needed salt to be enjoyable. The pickles were very good. It took nearly thirty minutes to receive our food, but our server was very prompt in welcoming us and getting drinks to the table. They were also very friendly when my little one didn't want to stay seated and kept thinking the ATM was her personal computer, the struggle was real after being strapped in a car seat for the last 1.5 hours.
