My higher score is based on how cool and nostalgic this place is. Go for the experience, not so much the food. I am so happy this place still operates after 70+ years! Although it was my first time visiting, I gather that not much has changed during those years. ;) We were happy to try some Twig's Soda in bottles. I had Caramel Apple and my hubby had Black Cherry. They were both cold and delicious, and locally made. I tried a Hot Beef sandwich which featured tender shredded beef topped with onion and melted cheese. Not bad, but not my favorite either. My hubby had a simple cheeseburger and was not overly impressed. Guess we missed the mark on ordering the best sandwiches here. We both tried small twist cones. At first lick I was like, WOW this is so rich!! It's maybe THE richest soft-serve I've ever tasted. And a small was all I could handle because it was so rich! Delicious.

A classic in wautoma and one of our favorite places to visit an old fashion drive in, it's like you stepped back in time to the 50s. If you get a chance visit and get yourself an old fashioned malt

Just great diner food and ice cream. Worth the stop every time. They even have a playground.

Philly beef

Drove by here for 18 years, finally stopped. Had the Philly steak, it was tender shredded beef with canned mushrooms and barely cooked onions. It was ok. The beef was really good. Would have preferred a roasted roll and sautéed mushrooms and onions. Hubby had the California burger.. warning, they use miracle whip instead of mayo. The kid had the milty burger and loved it, but was wondering why they do relish and pickles. Tried the curly fries and cheese curds, large portions. Two of us had small turtle sundae and the other had a small chocolate malt. The malt was very chocolately and creamy smooth. The turtle had the right amount of toppings. The ice cream seems almost like a rich whipped cream, light and fluffy. We had a

I've been going to Milty for a long long time. Besides having a great name, they have great burgers and a fun 1950's atmosphere.

We went inside, staff in dirty aprons, dirty everywhere, smell unpleasant. We left without shopping. Never ever!

Standard selection of food, cool looking drive inn. A little over the top with kid toys.

Usually, I hit Wautoma at odd times when either Milty-Wilty is closed or stopping there just isn't called for.

A little off the beaten path, but worth the detour!…read more We missed breakfast and the Bloody Mary bar, but were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the menu. We sat at the bar and had great service. Several tables are available, but all orders were placed at the bar. Overall the atmosphere was very clean and well decorated. You could call it a clean towny bar. Drinks were good, Bloody Mary was pretty standard (would have been better if we made it before the Bloody Mary bar closed). Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. Then split the wings, price was very reasonable. Wings were crispy and delicious, then came with a "bucket of sauces" - see picture. It was fun to mix and match. Several others around us got burgers, steak sandwiches, etc. Excited to go back to try more menu items, especially breakfast!

We ordered fish and fries to go. The fish was good but the fries were soggy and there were less…read morethan a small fast food portion. I called them and the bartender told me the manager (or owner?) was sitting right there, but he would talk to him and see if there was anything he wanted to do about it. He took my name and number. Apparently he is doing nothing because he never got back to me. We will order from the Ding from now on.
