We've taken her to Metcafe's (love), she's tried Metro Market, and so it was time to introduce her to Meijer one Sunday when we were out and about. This Meijer is large, clean, has a ton of variety and options for any product you may want to purchase, and is easy to navigate with nice, wide aisles. We had already been to Costco, so weren't looking to do a full shopping experience here but did easily find what we were in need of. A few things that I liked: The choices and variety of canned fruit (including the fact that they had Dole tropical fruit salad, which can be hard to find). The bread selection! So many choices of both bakery style bread and your more commercial varieties. Aside from that, we were able to find everything on our list. The store is well organized so we didn't have to hunt too long for anything and checking out at the self checkout was a snap. Get to it!

This is a clear case of false advertising. -Gave back the craft beer. We would rather pay full price somewhere else. Meijer leadership needs to look up who was working today as a manager, and align their practice with laws. Unfortunate experience. We want to warn others so they don't go through the same issue. While visiting today I found samples of parmesan in a balsamic vinegar that was quite tasty. My main goal was to secure some bakery items for a party and while the selection looked a bit picked over, I had to remind myself that it was after 2 in the afternoon and the store had been open for quite a while at that point. After procuring a couple packs of loaf cake, we headed to the front though I unfortunately did not locate my favorite part of Metro Market: The Clearance Aisle! Hopefully I will find it next time. I followed my rule that if you smell smoke when you walk in, I'm getting the full slab even though it's wrapped in foil and I couldn't see them. At first unwrapping I'm like dam nice bark and look how meaty the rack is, I hate that some places give you thin and bone racks so thank you for a nice rack. After heating up a third of the rack the bark came to life and was tasty, thick and sticky. The ribs were very meaty/tasty with that nice pink smoke ring but not very Smokey. The rib meat was moist and pulled clean off the bone. While there I bought a package of jalapeño meat sticks and a Czech beer from 1842, Pilsner Uequell imported it says. For a liquor store doing Bbq I'm giving them 4 stars because the ribs were good and they use meaty racks and at $16.95 for a full rack it's a good value. I would definitely get these take and bake Bbq ribs again and try other Bbq items from here.
