The service was great and the food was amazing. I got the ribeye lasagna and it was some of the best lasagna I've ever had!

The service was impeccable, wine prices fair, wine selection outstanding, and the atmosphere was quiet and romantic, but that is where the good news ends.... food was subpar for the price point. We had the steak chimichuri appetizer.. it was scorched I had the triple delight.... portion was good but sauce was bland and one dimensional.. forgettable. My companion had the pork with seafood... scallops were overcooked and the sauce had very flat flavor profile. Won't be going back at these prices. Maybe lunch or happy hour it would be worth for average food. read more

My husband and I celebrated the anniversary of our first date here. We never get to go out on our own to a nice dinner. We have three kids so when we go out we take them with us. This time we decided to go have a nice romantic night out just us two. We went on Christmas Eve 40 mins before closing. My husband ordered the black drum and I had the Chicken Parmesan. The manager brought us an amazing bottle of 2011 Swanson vineyard merlot (omg yum) and we enjoyed having some alone time. Our anniversary was perfect. We took some dessert to go and settled on making that our place to go for date night once a month. My boyfriend & I went there for lunch & were really disappointed. It took so long for our server to come to our table after we were seated, we almost left. When he did finally come over, he said no one told him we were seated in his section. Pretty lame excuse since he was going around to the other tables in the same section & we made eye contact several times. The food was just so-so when we did finally get it. The pasta was under sauced & no longer hot, the bread in the basket was room temperature instead of warm & we had to flag down the waiter to get some grated Parmesan. When he did bring the Parmesan, he acted like it was a huge inconvenience to have to grate it. There are other places locally that are nicer with much better service & not nearly as loud. This food is only fair, not OMG like everyone rants, maybe just Temple standards. We had a pArty of ten and it took almost a half hour to get drinks ordered and menus. In all, we finally closed the tab 2 1/2 hours later and it wasn't that busy on a Monday. Prices are average for Italian food and portions are adequate, especially after filling up on bread waiting an hour for your meal. Be forewarned that we got charged for two $11 glasses of house merlot which is unacceptable. Also there was a $10.50 mandatory credit card use charge ? and a built in 20% large party tip not labeled as such, and I almost double paid the tip. read more

From the atmosphere to the dessert, this place delivered in spades. I took the wife out for a Friday night on the town, and she has never been happier with a restaurant (that is a lot from a restauranteur's daughter). The osso bucco is worth every cent! Julian (sp) was very helpful in wine selection and Alex, our waiter was exceptional. We definitely are now regulars. If you happen to enjoy wine, they have a club you can join to sample new products. Three of us, two from Los Angeles, one from Seattle, had the most surprising, excellent dinner in this semi-causal, yet sophisticated, treasure of a restaurant. All three of us are very well traveled and are used to amazing foods of all kinds. Pignetti's was flawless and anyone who says differently is flat-out wrong! I would write on and on about it but it would become tiringly repetitive as everything, from the wine list, wine, service, atmosphere, and food, was excellent.... oh yeah, and parking is super easy too. Great meal tonight, great service from Ryan a new waitperson. Arrived at 7, restaurant was packed. Luckily a 2 top was available. Thursday night is retail price on wine night. Got a great $40 bottle of wine for &28. Had the triple delight, succulent shrimp,chicken and Italian sausage with penne and a delicious sauce. Cap't Crunch was amazing. A great appetizer. The cheesy meatballs were good. The service was perfect. Chrystal was on her game and it was one of the best services I have enjoyed. Second time coming, the wednesday wine tastings are a fun little activity. We came once the restaurants reopened following quarantine- dying to get out. They're doing everything safely and according to the requirements. Server warned us up front with the new regulations food would be coming out slower for safety but service was still quick and efficient. Our server Valerie was amazing very attentive without being to much at any point. Very knowledgeable of the wine list and more than capable of making excellent suggestions. Party of four on a Sunday afternoon. It was extremely loud with a large party seated next to us. Ordered four entrees, an appetizer for the table, a salad and desserts. The restaurant posted the Sunday hours as 11-3pm. At 2:00pm (before we ordered dessert or finished our meal), we were told the restaurant was closing an hour early since they had no other customers. Went there last night lobster ravioli was decent NOT worth the price at all (22 bucks). However the crab avocado bruschetta Amazing! As well as the creme brûlée. On the fence about this place. First time there for my husbands birthday. It was Tuesday - family night - big mistake. The atmosphere was noisy, not the quaint little romantic place I thought it would be. We were seated between a large noisy group and a couple with 2 little kids. I can handle the kids, but overall it was just too loud in there. We noticed a table for 2 on the other side of the room and asked to be moved there. We were told no, that was reserved as part of a group. Not 10 minutes later another couple was seated there and they clearly were there alone....strike 1. The waitress never told us about the specials which is a point of people going for family night, even if that wasn't why we were there - strike 2. We asked for a wine list as we heard they had lots of wine - we had a selection of 5....seriously? We picked the Chianti and it was very good. My husband ordered Filet Mignon and I ordered sea bass. Both good, sea bass was a bit soft and the filet a bit overdone on the outside but we ate it all. Then we had dessert, and they apparently didn't see the note from the reservation about a birthday. As i didn't remind them when we came in I can let that pass though disappointing. Then we get the check and there's a $3.75 charge for using a credit card. Wait...what ?? #1 - I know it doesn't cost them that much for a cc transaction, and #2 - if you are going to do that, you don't put it on the check, those costs should be absorbed elsewhere. That was literally strike #3 in my eyes, don't know if I will give this place another chance. read more

Celebrating our 19 year anniversary, we decided to go here for dinner. This place is awesome! Our server Phil was very nice and efficient. The decor was so fun and classic and very clean.Now to the food. My husband ordered the veal Parmesan with seafood scampi and I had the lobster ravioli. Excellent choices. For dessert we shared tiramisu and creme brûlée. Needless to say we both walked out with happy food babies. We highly recommend this for any occasion. We visited Pignetti's on a Saturday night (last weekend) and it happened to be one of the local school's Prom Night. It was pretty busy, but we were able to get a table without a reservation, the atmosphere was just right, the service was still on point, and the food was absolutely perfect!
