The location is beautiful, featuring a very cute outdoor setup right on the ocean with amazing views. Even though they were busy with a long line, the service was outstanding, kind, warm, and engaging. They were incredibly thorough, and our order came out exactly right. I also noticed that everything coming out to other tables looked consistently spot-on, with everyone around us loving their food. As someone who eats gluten-free, the fact that 80% of their menu is GF was phenomenal, and it actually tastes incredible! Their corn tortillas are genuinely the best I have had anywhere. Their flavor combinations are extremely well thought out and expertly executed. We tried the fried rockfish, the halibut cheek, and the Carne Asada. The fish-based tacos were lovely, as the texture was perfect. The flavor profile on the Carne Asada was actually my favorite of the three, but the meat itself was just a little too tough for my full appreciation. Still, the seasonings on all three tacos were absolute perfection. Do not skip the coconut limeade! It was such a treat: perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and very well done. Swell Taco is a must-visit in Homer. We will be dreaming about these tacos until our next trip!
