She's really terrific - I can txt her to schedule visits and she is really really flexible with my weird time constraints on getting my condo cleaned. She's always on time - when she says she'll be there at 10 AM, she'll be there at 10 AM. She does a really great job cleaning, brings her own products, and most importantly -- she takes PayPal for payments (a minor miracle). The counters and the sink weren't cleaned off properly, she told me she couldn't reach the freezer (I ended up reaching it just fine and cleaning it myself), the inside of the microwave had food particles, the bath tile needed additional cleaning, there were sections of the floor that hadn't been swept properly. In all, I basically had to go through the entire place and swipe everything down and re-sweep certain areas and scrub the kitchen sink and clean the microwave interior. When I later emailed Lorita letting her know, she told me that cabinets were extra and were. not included in the deep cleaning. This was news to me since her helper hadn't told me that when I went through the apartment pointing out areas that needed special attention. Given that it's a woman-run business that I really wanted to support (I was thinking of retaining them for a regular monthly cleaning), I'm disappointed with how things turned out. My home is generally well-kept, so this was meant to be a focused deep clean on a few areas. Around the 1 hour 15 minute mark, I was contacted and told they would need an additional hour, which I found surprising given there were two cleaners and the task list was minimal. When I arrived back at the house at the two-hour mark (after they said they were finished), I immediately noticed the kitchen floor didn't look clean. I asked them to go back over it, but even after that, I saw multiple areas that were missed. Corners of baseboards still had visible debris, and some baseboards looked like they hadn't been touched at all. There was pink residue left around the sink drain, the showerhead wasn't cleaned, and there was long hair left in the shower, bathrooms, and on the floors -- which isn't mine. The windows had streaks, and overall it seemed like many areas were quickly wiped down rather than cleaned thoroughly. For such a small list of tasks, I expected better attention to detail and thoroughness. Unfortunately, the work felt rushed and incomplete, and I will not be booking this service again.
