Not sure how long the lights stay on but I've been there until 930pm and the lights have stayed on. Only drawback is that the parking lot is very small so you may have to park on the street or if you park in the regular parking lot you may get blocked in. Good park and good games!

The parking lot is past that, but there's a few prime spots at the entrance & can park along the side of the road (hillside). The entrance is on Fort Barrette Rd. a little after the main Kapolei intersection. This is a good park for beginners to advanced with lots of obstacles to try out tricks & level up skills, it's laid back and family friendly. 1 star removed only because there used to be lots of homeless & sketchy people at times causing trouble. It doesn't look to be the case now tho.

I was certainly on my toes since it seemed dark and shady. If you go on the walking path counter clockwise you walk for about 1/2 mile looking at sewer and power plant smoke stacks. Having said all this I would recommend this for a bike ride since it's way safer than being on the roads.

So I finally decided to stop by for some outdoor playtime with my little. I am sure that at some point this was an amazing park for your toddler/kids and it still is if you play tennis or other things. The two stars are because of the playground. It is really heartbreaking to see the condition of this playground. What is even sadder is my toddler saying "sowwy mommy, bwoken" and you are trying to explain that yes it is broken but it is not their fault. The playground is full of grafitti, profanity written on benches, play structure, etc. There is vandalism, broken cracked slide, trash, and exposed metal that has rusted (hope you have your tetanus shots!) throughout. It felt so uncomfortabke having my son play here for fear that he might get hurt since the equipment has not been cared for. Another thing is if you are wanting to sit down, the benches do not offer a good view of the whole play area so you have to really circle around if your little one still cant climb well/etc. It is also reslly hot here and there is no shade except from the little towers of the play structure. Every other part of this park has better maintennance, I just wish this playground had a little tlc and it would be more enjoyable.
