I could not have been happier with these guys. They were very professional. I called and they…read moremade an appointment to come and look over the house and take measurements. They came up with a plan and gave me an estimate. A few weeks later they came to my house and put in the system. It didn't take long (maybe an hour or so), they cleaned up after themselves and the final cost was exactly the same as the estimate. They lowered the radon levels in the home to lower than acceptable level and after 5 months, everything is working perfectly.

After calling around to several local companies, I found Maine Radon Solutions had the best price by far for installing the BubbleUp system by far. I've got a radon in water level of ~8,000 pCi/L and no one would service my GAC filter at that level, so I was basically forced to go with a BubbleUp. In the long term, it's probably the better solution because it doesn't require changing filter material every few years, but it does require a new vent above the roofline and four separate electrical cords to plug in. It does require a more standard .5 micron filter installed in the water line before it, so that will still need to be changed and it will require maintenance/service calls, but I digress. Maine Radon Solutions did a very professional job and even was able to help me change my external faucet to connect to my well system before the BubbleUp so that all the water I use for my garden or washing cars doesn't have to run through the BubbleUp. Their communications were excellent and my radon water level is now below 150 pCi/L. My only possible complaint was that they removed some pipe insulation for their work and it wasn't replaced and now my pipes are sweating. After I inquired about it, Chris from Maine Radon Solutions said the insulation was old and they don't carry it on their trucks, but he offered to grab some and install it if I wanted.
