It was a piece of white fish and it flaked perfectly, stayed moist, the breading was light and it was topped with a slightly spicy, slightly sweet thai chili type sauce. It had some fresh pickled daikon and carrots along with some cilantro- that was it. Simple. No bells and whistles just perfectly executed. What really separates a good banh mi from a great one, the bread. The bread on this sandwich is what I noticed immediately. Glass-like shattering exterior that lets you into a pillowy and slightly chewy interior. From start to finish, I was thinking about how good that bread was. The cole slaw needs more flavor/sauce but feels like a healthy slaw as is. The service was OK. There was 1 waiter for the whole place and he had 6 tables at one point.
