We sat on the boat out back. Great vibes watching the sun go down on the water, good tunes and fast service. We had sun cruisers so no idea how the drinks are there but the food was delicious. We had the calamari and the shrimp po boy burger. I would recommend both.

Came in here for lunch while in town. I had a lobster roll which was good and had nice flavoring. Friend had the clam chowder which didn't care for and said it was bland. Server was polite and helpful. We ate outside on back patio overlooking the boat seating and the marina. Nice atmosphere.

We went because it was right across from whale watching. It was a cute place, and the attached boat was cool. The food was good, just maybe more dinner price than lunch price.

I ate at the Pilot House for the first time during my last trip to Maine. What a wonderful place! I went with a large party and we were seated upstairs, there were huge windows with beautiful views, the space was large and beautifully decorated. All 18 people I was with loved their meal, the service was excellent especially with such a huge group. We will be eating here again on our next visit as well!

My first time at The Pilot House, and I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance and environment were really nice and open--you can tell it was recently renovated from the old setup. We were seated upstairs, which has a completely different vibe. I ordered a Bloody Mary and initially thought it just didn't have enough alcohol--turns out there was none at all, even though I was ID'd. Others in my party also felt like their drinks had little to no alcohol. The food portions were big, and everything came out fresh and hot. A little pricey, but that's probably expected given the location. Overall, the food was delicious, and I'd potentially come back.

I love the local charm of the Pilot House Restaurant! There's a beautiful bar and seating arrangement on the first floor. Lots of boat decorations to make it extra nautical. There is a second floor, which feels more like a restaurant lounge with wide open spaces. You can also dine on top of a docked boat, which is connected to the second floor of the Pilot House. My friend and I got cocktails and fried fish bites. Absolutely delicious and a great atmosphere to enjoy with company!

Went here for a private event and was perfect place. Huge venue with large windows overlooking the water. Ambiance was perfect and were able to have platters of snacks- pizzas, shrimp, fries. Great for a centralized buffet and perfect to hold tons or people. Really loved this spot and recommend

First time experiencing The Pilot House was and the food was delicious! I had the Baked Haddock, while my boyfriend got the Baked Mac n' Cheese w/ Chicken. Both were absolutely to die for :) Service was great and the restaurant was decorated for the holidays -- beautiful!

Lovely location! We were able to bring our dog up and sit on the porch. Lovely view of the harbor! The staff were very friendly and our server was great! We had coconut shrimp (yum!), fish tacos and fried clams. Highly recommend!

Awesome pulled pork open faced sandwich! Over cornbread, stacked with coleslaw, pickled red onions and candied jalapeno. Janis is the best!

Hurricane Restaurant - Baked stuffed lobster!

Some shopping and a few bits along the way. We weren't completely full for dinner but wanted the party to go on. I snagged a reservation at Hurricane and we were seated shortly after getting a round of drinks from the bar. My wife had her go to cocktail "A slightly Dirty Martini" while I opted for the citrusy Hemingway. Once seated we poured over the menu and couldn't make up our minds but our server was awesome. We weren't rushed and each passing visit continued the conversation with her about our trip, our day, our experience, and Kennebunkport content in general. At long last we simply decided to get two rounds of fresh oysters that were to absolutely die for as our meal. The snacking had taken its toll or my wife would have annihilated a 2 lb Maine Lobster on her own. I had some local Maine craft beers to go with the light fare and had to order the "Affogato" for desert. It simply called my name. The Hurricane offered a great atmosphere that was still somewhat hopping shortly before the clock suggested it was closing time. As we exited and walked over to our hotel for the last night before heading home, we found the usually crowded streets of the sea town barren and that offered some time for reflection on a great evening that was had by all.

The food was solid. Good, but no WOW factor. But the outstanding aspect of this dining experience…read morewas the service. Our waitress Seanna was the best waitress I've experienced in a very long time. I'm a NYer and my dining experience bar is high. Well she nailed it. Plus the Manager accommodated us as I was 1/2 hour early and she sat us in a quiet area of a very loud restaurant. Again, no complaints about the food, but the service was exceptional!
