This is our favorite restaurant In Kennebunkport. Great view of the river. Love the outdoor seating. Meals are always good. They will always have new specials. Valet parking. $5.00.

1st time here. Tourists to Kennepunkport. Valet parking is reasonable. If not crowded ask if you can leave your car to walk around. Ordered the clam chowder and house salad. House salad is large enough to share. The dressing was wonderful . It complement the salad greens, a slightly sweet and tart dressing. The clam chowder was filled with corn and potatoes and lots of clams. In the restaurant you have great views of the marina and can watch tourists walk around.

The Boathouse Restaurant is a beautiful waterfront location with delicious food and great staff. We came as a party of 7 and had to wait ~1 hour to be seated. No reservations but you're able to track your wait online. Our waiter, Xavier, was super kind, funny, and great at his job. He even went above and beyond, surprising us with a round of prosecco as we were celebrating a bachelorette party. The steak & noodles salad was the stand out favorite among the group with the Brussels sprouts and lobster fried rice also being crowd pleasers. We'd all definitely recommend this absolutely stunning restaurant!!

Great location. Beautiful views. Restaurant is stunning. We got one drink each and the lettuce wraps. Food and drink were perfect, but the lack of service was astounding. We were sitting in the bar, but male bartender walked past us several times. Never checking in to see if we needed anything. Almost ignoring us. Would never go back to be treated so less than.

    Clam chowder and mussels !

Service was great! Our mussels were some of the best I've had and the soup hit the spot on a rainy day! Our bill for 2 chowders, 2 drinks and the mussels was around 85 so a hair pricey but overall a great experience. The views of the restaurant is a great addition as well. We'd go back!

I was initially skeptical to come here because of the "lower" reviews. After trying all the other restaurants in town, this was the last on the list. The only thing I'm disappointed was that I didn't start here, because it was my favorite! The ambiance is amazing. The right balance of classy and casual. The views on the water are just what you're looking for. The service and food were delicious. We sat at the back bar this evening to have espresso martini and blueberry crisp. Both exceptional! Including our bartenders. I'm sorry I didn't get their name, but thank you.

We went to this restaurant two nights in a row. First night we just sat at the bar and had martinis. Drinks were great and loved our bar tender Taylor. We came back the second night for dinner and sat on the patio. It was very picturesque. We had the pan seared shrimp and scallops with lobster fried rice. Fabulous! Our waiter was attentive and patient, Two of us split an entree. Bonus points for the kitchen splitting our order before it was brought to the table.

Middle of our birthday celebration. We had finished our morning sail and the group wanted to stay in town for lunch. Having a large group can always be a challenge but we were able to walk in and have great table. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They managed our group nicely and everyone was impressed. The menu offered a variety of option for the group of 11 and it was delicious. From seafood to the turkey club it was presented well and delicious. The space had a nice flow allowing for all seats to participate in the incredible views of the Bay Area. Inside and outside seating options and valet parking. You cannot go wrong there. Plus after the meal we were able to take walk and let lunch settle. Worth the stop for sure. Cheers

We stopped by around 12:30pm on a Saturday and had about a 45-minute wait for outdoor seating for a party of two. We filled up on appetizers and beer and everything was delicious. We had mussels, shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was wonderful.

The menu is a great mix of drinks, desserts, and dessert-drink combos. A group of 5 of us arrived and waited about 10 minutes for spots at the bar. The inside is pretty small but optimized with both bar and booth seating. The decor is so cute and whimsical. I loved all of the details! The desserts are pricey (most are around $15-20), but the portions are big enough to share with at least 1 other person. I got the Chocolate Chip Cookie Royale, which really hit the sweet-salty spot with a warm choc chip cookie, salty sweet cream ice cream, salted caramel, sesame brittle, and tahini whipped cream. The savorier elements allowed me to keep eating and not get overwhelmed by sweetness. My friends got the vegan peach crumble and chocolate cake and enjoyed theirs as well. Come with your sweet tooth, and leave happy and satisfied!

I started with a hibiscus tea cocktail and it was my favorite cocktail I've had in a long long time. My friend had the gnocchi for dinner which she said was very good and the rest of us had the steak frites which I have to say is the best steak frites I've ever had!! I'm dreaming of it and wish I didn't live states away. It was cooked perfectly and came with delicious julienne fries with a yummy sauce. We also tried their new tallow bearnaise sauce with the steak and wow, so good. My toddler was licking the sauce containers clean. Can't wait to return in the future. I love that it's a bit out of the way of the downtown area so you can park and relax in a beautiful setting. We started with cocktails and drank them outside while admiring the beautiful property, i highly recommend getting there before your reservation so you can enjoy a drink on a nice day outside! I got the Tideline cocktail and substituted the tequila for mezcal after the bartender suggested it and wow! A great drink and i was impressed how fast the service was. Once we sat down inside we ordered a lovely Gamay for the table, you really can't go wrong with any of the wines on the menu they have a great selection. We ordered quite a few dishes to share between the three of us and the server brought them out in a 3 course style per her suggestion. We started with the citrus and fennel salad and grilled raddichio and these were both so fresh and delicious, we had to leftover vegetables this were exceptional. Then came the asparagus pizza, pork and beef meatballs, and the focaccia as our second course. We almost skipped the focaccia- that would have been a huge mistake. That is a must order, the texture was biscuit like and the seasonal flavored butter was divine. The pizza was really blowing us away with the white sauce and the chili crisp combination. The dough is so light and crispy as well it was wonderful. The meatballs were huge! and came with delicious grilled sourdough. The pasta and lamb shank came out next and at this point we couldn't see how it could get any better but then it did! The lamb shank is huge and cooked so beautifully. The pastas were definitely the standout bites of the course. The carbonara noodles are thick and cooked perfectly and the sauce is so rich a creamy. The Tortelli pasta was my favorite, the pockets stuffed with a gooey filling and the fava beans added a great texture to the dish. We were in carb heaven. We somehow were able to fit dessert in and i'm so glad we did not skip it. We ordered espresso martinis to accompany and this is without a doubt the best espresso martini i have ever had. We substituted tequila and they were completely delicious. I don't remember exactly what the names of the desserts were that we got but one was a a chocolate mousse with a peanut butter sauce and crunchy peanuts which was so yummy. But the favorite of the table was the pistachio one. It was like an ice cream bar with crunchy pistachios on it. Get this one if you go! This was an unforgettable meal from service to food. The staff is incredible and really treat you wonderfully and the food is so good i really didn't expect it to blow me away as much as it did.
