Pilot Plumbing saved me from all the chaos. I see some negative reviews on their page. This was not my experience. They were honest and forthright. Keith K. was the service person who came and did the work. The space underneath the sink was very tight. He spent quite a bit of time and energy tightening the faucet base underneath. He said he would give a fair price. I signed off on this. Months and months came by and no final bill was sent to me. This service was done in March 2025. Pilot Plumbing with Keith K. did the work and did not charge me a penny for it. We hired them for a toilet job. They were easy to communicate with and let us know ahead of time when they would be there. The tech was clean, did a great job and the bill was, much to my surprise, lower than I thought. They did try to sell us on some water filtration system but that didn't bother me. What they call - "a dispatch." It does not include ANY service, or work, NOR does it go towards any final cost. They won't even give you a price for any particular job over the phone. They say the plumber will give you a price for whatever the problem is. No certification needed. I know what the problem is!! I need a root-a-toot." We had a bad drain, a leaky p-trap and some old angle stops that needed to be replaced, these folks came out toot sweet (less than 24 hours), gave us not 1, but 3 estimates of varying levels of detail (awesome!), and then within 24 hours of that got to fixing the problem. Beware! They sent someone out to give me a free estimate for a toilet replacement. Everyone else was able to do it via text with a photo. The tech started telling me all these things that were wrong with my toilet that indicated a deeper problem. Tested my water and found it to have high chlorine. Ended up with a very high bid for toilet replacement and another for a full house water filter system. And he wanted commitment on the spot, though not especially pushy. I researched the water testing and discovered that he used an inappropriate gauge and was scaring me with the amount of chlorine. It turns out our chlorine is lower than the national average and perfectly appropriate. Too bad. He seemed like a nice guy and was very thorough. read more

I had called around to get estimates on a repair to my water heater. Was quoted over the phone $89 to come out. The fellow said that if I accept the quote after they do a diagnostic on it then they would wave the fee. I shopped around a bit until I decided to schedule with them. Other places were charging up to $225 to do a diagnostic. The guys gets here and my husband shows him to the garage. I was at work at this time and I get a phone call from my husband telling me they want to charge $276 to do a diagnostic on it to find out what is wrong, I said what? I thought that was what the $89 was for. But nope! That was just so they can drive over to my house and walk inside. Then they charge a fee to look at it! Never have I ever heard of such a thing. Wish I could say we said no. But we wanted to make sure it was nothing serious. When my husband found out it was a simple fix he ended up fixing it himself. Saved us an extra $325, which was they quoted to repair. I didn't like the dishonesty that this company displayed. read more
