Would definitely recommend this school. They give you all the tools necessary to pass and as long as you do your part and study your inspection, you will pass. It's up to you to put in the effort but the instructors give you the knowledge and answer all your questions. In fact, they encourage you to ask questions. My favorite instructor was Mario. I was having issue with the clutch on manual truck and he spent an hour practicing with me until I got it down. Gave me pointers that made it click for me. All in all though, every instructor gave me tips that helped me be prepared me for the test. Passed on my first try. The ladies in the offices are all super nice as well. Big ups to them. I just recently finished my training with America Truck Driving School...I just passed my DMV tests (Inspection, Skills, and Driving) on the first try. From day one from my first call to the school, enrollment, the orientation, yard training, and on the road training.. I was treated with complete honesty and respect.. This was new territory upgrading from a Class B to a Class A.. They made me feel comfortable from day one.. That meant a lot to me as I tend to over worry sometimes.. You do get different instructors each time you are there and that is a benefit as they all have different ways and styles of teaching. I signed up at their Escondido location and did my training in Riverside. All the staff is excellent and patient. All the classes were as they said, individual. They were also able to work with my schedule. I work full time and this was the only school I found that I was able to attend and still work. You've got to really put in the effort, as getting a CDL is not a walk in the park. Study what the instructors tell you, follow their directions, and you will succeed. I tested in El cajon and passed my first time. I did my research when looking for a school. Most schools won't even answer the phone or give you the time of day. Best Investment I've made in my entire life, thank you to the ladies in the office and the instructors I'm a truck driver now Okay It's 4000ish so just save up 5000 and you good need help okay they got financial assistance from the state of CA okay this is better but takes longer. My training was excellent, they all work hard to highlight all points that might stop you from success on the CDL Road Test. And the admin staff are first class ensuring all the paperwork is in order. My road test at CA DMV was scheduled, but cancelled due to COVID19, forcing the DMV to halt all services and road-tests. I have a slight learning disability and he helped me with suggestions and was very patient. I know it's because of him I was able to pass at the DMV inspection. Definitely one of the best courses out there. You really do get what you pay for and well worth the money. A typical day is done by spending 1 hr working on your inspection skills with a partner and instructor and another full hr working on your maneuvers skills with various instructors helping you out, you do about 13 classes of this then you also get about 5 2 hr classes of you driving on the road 1 on 1 with an instructor. Went to the DMV and passed on my first try, while at the dmv instructor Robert showed me what I needed to do at each station when taking my test. So, I decide to join America Truck Driving School in Riverside.They only charge $2250. They told me 2 to 3 days a week for 4 weeks. All truck instructors are very professional. They have awesome staff willing and ready to assist you with any questions and helped me during the course to obtain my CDL. They go out of their way to help you out and make sure you are taken care of. Cynthia and Natalie were great in helping me with any needs I had during my course. During my actual training, I got to experience each of the multiple instructors throughout my course. Each one gives knowledgeable tips to help with maneuvers and on the road. Every class you constantly being monitored by the instructor and he is there to give corrections or tips to make sure you learn how to be a great driver. I researched every school in the area and asked about how they run the classes and this one was the best school option to make sure you learn the necessary material to get ready for the road. I called the American truck driving school Back in May of 2020. I had told them that I needed to acquire my license ASAP. I spoke to Cynthia over the phone and she was absolutely helpful. She told me the schools schedule and that they would work around my schedule which was extremely beneficial on my behalf because I did want to finish the school as fast as possible so I can acquire my license and get to work. Throughout the whole process I was being helped by every single person that worked there! I'd like to give a big shout out to Cynthia, Emilia, and Natalie. Those are the girls up front! They do such an amazing job with everything, if you had a question it was going to be answered! And then we can't forget about the boys in the back. All the instructors were very patient with everyone and guided us to learn every aspect of the truck. From in cab inspection to outside inspection and then the skills. I can say I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support and encouragement of the instructions, staff and office manager Cynthia. They are very professional, encouraging and they treat you like family. I made a great connection with the instructions Dante and Michael. They are very knowledgeable. If you do EXACTLY AS THEY SAY you will master the skills and maneuvers no problem! They also allowed me to come to school for as long as I needed to use the trucks and practice going over the material which was very helpful to pass my test the first time! In addition, every time I went into the office the receptionists would always greet everyone by their name. They were always willing to go out of their way to answer any questions that I had.
