When I got the receipt, he charged me an extra piece of wood as well as for the premium wood, rather than the less expensive domestic wood that I was purchasing. Literally got ripped off. It cut you off, hangs up on you transfers to the wrong department and does not listen to you. No one answers the phones anymore and it will ring and ring and then disconnect you. They used to have actual human beings that answered the phones would direct you to the right department and or even answer questions or look things up for you. No more! Those customer service days are over!very sad. As far as home warranties now, I would never recommend purchasing one because it's all AI now and you cannot speak with a human being anymore. We purchased a brand new refrigerator a year ago it died. We could not get service for a few weeks to get it repaired and had to buy another one and we could not get through to the warranty company and the manufacturer would not stand behind it so we've had to purchase another refrigerator nor Lowe's would stand behind it. So now we've paid for two refrigerators within a year and a half. We can't get credit on the extended warranty that we purchased that is now useless and that warranty would not even go into effect until June of this year for a five year extended warranty. So that was a waste of an extra $200 on an appliance that was not even two years old yet. All in all customer service is no more with Lowes!
