Her intuition for what you're looking for is spot on, and she knows how to kindly suggest what will and won't work best. I made an appt online for a new client cut that came with a complementary hair mask. My appt was with Jade. She was fantastic! The place was clean and modern and the vibe was relaxed. I haven't been to a real hair salon in probably 10-15 years. Went to Great clips about 5 years ago for my last hair cut but I wanted to splurge and get a little pampering! Most things are charged by the hour and each stylist has a different rate based on their "level" I came with a pic of what I wanted and Jade delivered. Almost identical. And if my face was as thin and flawless as the AI version I brought in it would have been exactly the same lol. She also has these wonderfully long nails that feel amazing when she's washing your hair! She was conversational without being nosy or over talkative. I got my hair cut a few months back and the experience was generally good, it was on a night where most of the workers seemed to be going out with each other and I was the last one booked for the night so my stylist didn't get to go (I know this because she asked me 15mins before my appointment if I could reschedule). Anyways, I asked for about 4in off, layers and a full dye. When we were finished the manager came to check her work bc I assume maybe she's newer (which is fine), but the lady had to redo all of my layers because they weren't done correctly. So we stayed much later probably until 9:30pm. Then when I got home I noticed that one side was way shorter than the other! I had to personally cut almost 2in off my left side of hair just to get it even. Now I know maybe she wanted to go out and felt rushed but it was not professional and I hope that if I go there again I get a better experience and that Amber pays more attention to detail to her future clients. I felt sad since this place has high reviews and i felt I didn't get what I paid for.
