I was excited to relax in the speakeasy after a long day of running around. I'm no stranger to the concept & have visited several that were truly the bee's knees! Here, the first thing that comes to mind is "identity crisis". We entered the wide open doors with a nod to security & came face to face with a speaker blasting old school hip hop. We already thought the sports bar & bowling in the same space was peculiar, now we've added nightclub to the mix. While any of these components work well individually, they do not a cool eclectic mix make. We settled in for our usual people watching and were given menus at about the 20min mark. Our server frequently checked on us until 3 wedding parties showed up. They were slammed, no kidding 10-12 deep at the bar. When we closed out, it took us a while to get the bill, then the credit card didn't come back, another 30min there. We weren't in a big hurry, so, not a huge deal. If you are in a bit of a rush, you may want to have a plan. Our drinks were decent, though not spectacular. When you're dropping good money on drinks, you expect them to be memorable. These simply weren't, Overall, everything was a bit disjointed & that was a bummer. Tomorrow we'll check out the library bar, as we're currently staying at the Omni.

This is such a darling little place within The Omni Hotel. My coworkers and I decided to have a nightcap after a long day at the NACADA Conference and we were glad we did! There's a 4 lane bowling alley that costs $100 per hour to play. Not a bad price if you split it 4 or 5 ways. We didn't play but we enjoyed watching! The drinks were nice and I loved the ambiance! The drink menu was on the front and back of a bourbon bottle. Cute touch! However, my manager ordered the float and sting drink and hated it, but my coworker had an almeretta sour and we thought she may have needed a moment alone and a cigarette! She had that "after-glow" once she took her first sip! Nevertheless, it's a nice place and quite unique!

I was first introduced to this place while attending a Yelp event and always wanted to come back. I had family in town for my graduation and thought this was a perfect place for a night cap. No reservations needed. This is supposed to be a speakeasy, but is fairly easy to find inside the Omni hotel. Seating is first come first served unless you are opting to bowl. Bowling requires reservations and is definitely on the pricier side. If I remember correctly it's roughly $50-70 for an hr. Drinks are slightly on the pricey side as well but delicious. Overall, fun place to come have a fancy drink and hangout with friends. I will definitely come back at some point when out on the town for a night of fun.

Neat place, great if you're in town an expense report (two basic vodka gimlets) were $15...each! And for that price you could barely taste the vodka. We also had the shrimp cocktail appetizer ($14). Four jumbo shrimp that were soaked in cocktail sauce that was mostly ketchup. The shrimp themselves were tasty, once we scraped off all the excess sauce. What if we wanted them sans sauce, or just as an accent? Aesthetically the area is very pleasing, and offered four dimly lit (which we liked) bowling alleys next to the bar. It can get a little loud if multiple games are being played, but for us only two lanes were active. Love the location, the layout, and the ambiance. Wouldn't likely come back to the way overpriced cocktails and so-so app. Other speakeasies in town that can give a better overall experience at a more reasonable price point.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!When all of the TV's are showing the caveliers vs warriors game and you cheer for your team and Jayson comes by to tell you to shhhh..."your not acting professional"' I'm done. Jayson had no problem for those who were cheering loudly for the Cavs...don't play any games on you're tv then.... golf, football, world series, polo, wimbeldon, NBA finals and think people who paid for fun will not cheer for their team. you're wrong. Jayson will cancel your fun!!! Elites and Yelpers bypass this place. NOTE: Apparently he was feeling some sort of way to follow me to the hotel's front desk when I filed my complaint with Misty. Thanks Misty for your great Customer Service!!!!

This is a speakeasy inside of the Omni. It also ha r a couple of lanes for bowling. The cocktails are prohibition themed. I tried the mint julep and really enjoyed it. The pours are strong and the flavors are interesting. The decor is gorgeous. They really spared no expense in the theming. I especially like the hidden entrance. Look for the mural of a woman and the neon sign that says, "shhh..." I'm

You've had a great day and you want to celebrate. You don't want to go to a typical bar and be surrounded by body-shot queens. You don't want to go to a dive bar and accidentally sit in dried vomit. You especially don't want to be at home, alone and sad, raiding your own liquor cabinet in a party of one. Pin and Proof is the perfect place! Make your way beyond the unmarked doors and neon "shhhhhh..." sign into the speakeasy of the Omni hotel. Post up at the bar and order a Bee's Knees, then give a toast to Allison and Jayla, who will be sure to make you feel like you're welcome. Sip your drink without haste or rush, and enjoy the speakeasy / high-end ($100/hr) bowling alley atmosphere. Surprisingly, it doesn't get terribly loud until very large (and usually already drunk) groups show up. Pin and Proof even offers VIP alcoves for a fee, which look to seat up to 20 people or so...and it's much quieter beyond those gold ropes. This is the perfect spot to relax, meet a friend, have a before or after dinner drink, or bowl a game without children present. It's my go-to when I want a yummy cocktail and none of the normal bar shenanigans.

Pin + Point is a cool place to grab a cocktail within the Omni Hotel. The speakeasy decor is on point and the cocktails were premium both in taste and price. The 80's music that was playing the evening we were there did not accent the theme. There are some limited food options after 5:00.

Really cool atmosphere and location. Love me a good speakeasy! Drinks are very pricey! We spent $70 on 4 beverages. We did not eat but the tacos next to us looked graat. Staff is over the top friendly and professional! Give it a try!

    Great seating

Fun style in here with loud 4 lanes of bowling. Unique atmosphere to meet its speakeasy claim to fame. It's pretty cool in here with roomy comfy seating, unique throughout. As it's Kentucky they have a good bourbon selection, but not much for rum.... After 4 days of bourbon, was thinking of changing it up. The Old Fashioned was good, but I've had better in town. We stopped at bar to order and she was fast and helpful with options.

Is there a 21+ requirement to bowl?

No, not before 10pm... at least as of pre-COVID

Do I need reservations if we're wanting to go on a Friday night?

It depends on the time you go... If you get there before 8pm, you should be fine unless the hotel is hosting a huge event.

I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.

I enjoyed the Revival Cathedral and Rhubarb Revelation specialty cocktails made with Heaven's Door Whiskey. Both were refreshing and went down smoothly. Luckily, I found a seat at the bar because someone was just leaving when I arrived. Bartender was welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive all while serving back to back customers. The decor, stained glass, chandeliers, and walls filled with bottles was really cool to see. Great ambiance for small or large groups. Tons of seating at bar, tables, and comfy side chairs. But then "Break On Through (To the Other Side)" came on, the drinks started flowing, the energy shifted, and suddenly you stop overthinking and simply admire the beauty of the space and what it has become. The atmosphere is stunning, moody, and unlike anywhere else. We originally ordered one of their signature drinks only to find out they couldn't serve it after the order was placed, but Alain handled it well and made things right with 30% off, which was appreciated. Also, huge thanks to Sean and Mike working security. Walk-ins were completely full for the night, and honestly without their help and kindness we probably never would've gotten a reservation. They treated us incredibly well and set the tone for a great evening. A memorable experience, beautiful setting, and a place that somehow balances reverence, history, and nightlife all at once.
