I've been here twice now within the last few weeks. First on a Sunday right at open for a quick drink before heading over to the Liquor Lab and the second on a Saturday night for after dinner cocktails and both visits were a great time! The bartenders greeted us as soon as we walked in, were friendly, explained the menu in detail and were very knowledgeable. On my first visit I opted for the seasonal Espresso Martini (Summer Martini Menu) however I wasn't a huge fan, if your an Espresso Martini connoisseur then you know everyone has a different preference in how they are made. The type of Vodka, whether they use espresso or cold brew and the type of coffee liquor. This one was made with deep Eddie vodka, espresso and Broghetti Espresso Liquor. Now with that being said, I am very much looking forward to going back to try their new Worlds Best Espresso Martini that they have collaborated with Heine Brothers coffee to create as it is a different recipe. On the second visit it was busy and the place was buzzing. They have a very unique cocktail menu and they also have extremely rare, old and almost one of a kind liquors you can get a pour of; one bottle dates back to the 30's I believe. When you walk in and are facing the bar, they are all displayed on the right hand side. My Husband tried the Smoked and Soured Four You (Michter's Bourbon | Lemon | Sugar | Smoke) which is a drink with a show! I tried a clarified cocktail ... the Espresso Spice & Everything Nice (Espresso Infused Vodka Clarified | Gingerbread Spice | Latte Foam) which was different but really good!! read more

Great great experience here. We had a 4 top at the low bar on a Friday. Had to wait about 15 minutes. They don't take reservations. It was a full house but everything was really good as far as drinks and food. Staff was nice considerate and updating you when it comes to something taking too long, getting another beverage. The whole 9 yards. We got the Neapolitan flat bread and it was great! Also the popcorn of the night was lime chili and it'll knock your socks off! So tasty. Drinks were French 75, house margarita, a smoked and sour, and another drink my friend got I can't recall the name of. The ambiance is so cute down to the light when you enter with the name. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try Seven! I've always loved the storefront because it looks like this cool, upscale bar with vibes. And it's just that! We tried the beef and shrimp/pork empanadas and they were amazing! I might go back just to get a couple of orders. And the drinks were equally amazing. I tried the Six in the City, Biscoff my Lawn, and Staycation. They were all great honestly, but the Six in the City was special. I have to say that although overall I had a decent time here, the first 15 minutes of my visit here left a lasting negative impression on me. I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering. read more

Hands down -- a 5 star review. The first experience was so fun (and delicious) that we came back for round two the next day before we left town. Beautiful inside with plenty of seating. Came here with a friend and we enjoyed our visit. I've been before but they have food now and I've been wanting to try their food for a while now. The service is absolutely outstanding. Every staff member is so knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We ordered the hot dog, Reuben egg rolls and the gamja corn dog. Both hot dog items were a bit dry. Both felt like they needed more sauce. The even egg rolls were amazing and tasted delicious. Only downside a 3rd of them were over cooked. You can kind of see in the image. Went by on a Saturday for drinks. There were two seats at the far end of the bar. Was quite a show watching the bartenders make cocktails. They came around quick to get our order- we weren't even ready! Service was fantastic and drinks did not take an eternity, like most craft places. I saw a rum cocktail with pear juice but wanted scotch instead. The bartender offered to make a cocktail for me in that vein. It was delicious! So these guys know what they're doing because they can make things on the fly. We had a couple more but the plan was to get dinner at 8 so we could not stay forever. This place has a very cool look, behind the bar its bottles to the ceiling and the bathrooms are all themed after a different celebrity. My husband and I came here for after dinner drinks. We came a little early on Friday evening, around 6-7 pm, and had plenty of seating options. We opted to sit at the bar so we could watch them mix drinks while we chatted. The inside is smaller with soft lights, which I really liked. While sitting at the bar, we got great service. The bartenders tend to switch out quite a bit which was interesting but we enjoyed having multiple people make our drinks throughout the evening. The place was maybe 1/4 full, yet for some reason they sat us off in the very back corner away from all the other customers. There were three of us, but they sat us at a tiny two-top. When we asked about it, they were incredibly reluctant to move us. The drinks were fine, but nothing to write home about. Plenty of other watering holes in Butchertown. I've never had someone at a bar be so personable and match the vibe of a group.
