I had never heard of Pinas, I was looking through door dash and saw them listed and gave it a try. Wow the pizza is amazing! from the flavor to texture everything was perfection. So glad I found them!

I had heard of Pina's, but hadn't had a chance to stop in. While the pizza was okay, but not my favorite, the stuffed garlic rolls are absolutely everything. I got mine with ricotta and pepperoni and I would definitely come back again and again just for those. Such a unique and delicious offering!

We have only had pizza delivered from this restaurant but every time they have been a hit at the office. I often ask for the pizza caprichosa and it has, on all occasions, been tasty and well cooked. Definitely my number one pizza spot for delivery in this area.

We dropped off our kid close by and we decided to give this pizza shop a try. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner (Pina). She was an absolute pleasure to speak with. She was so welcoming, friendly and proud of her pizza shop. What a wonderful experience to not only meet a new small business owner but also learn about her family and her business. The food is fresh, very tasty and they go out of their way to make the customer happy. We weren't planning on eating here but when in Rome.... They have plenty of seating for a small shop and even better you can get delivery and they even do catering. If you're in the neighborhood or want some good pizza (pasta, rolls, stuffed garlic rolls, etc...) then you won't be sorry. She's done her own painting and decoration and this makes it feel even more than homey. So glad we came here and we will be back. Well done Pina and we're so happy to have met you.

Wow wow wow!!! So incredibly good. We ordered the Mediterranean and the pesto sauce was flavorful and not overwhelming. It was my first time trying stuffed garlic rolls and OMG. We got it with ricotta and tomato so it added extra cheesiness. We asked for marina on the side for dipping. Just found my new favorite pizza spot

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Consistency is key and the pizza hits the spot every time. Pina is an absolute wonder to talk to, she is about as friendly a person you'll ever find. Full of charm, and smiles, when I pick up I always wait inside to strike conversation. In my opinion, best pizza in Miami, and the sides like the stuffed garlic rolls are AMAZING. The dessert options are outstanding as well.

This is the best pizza we have had in south florida! My family and I are always trying pizza places as we all love pizza. My husband randomly came across this place through social media and it is absolutely DELICIOUS! It is New York style, it's fresh, they don't skimp on toppings, the perfect ratio of cheese, sauce, the dough is so good too. The workers are very nice and attentive, the place is clean with a few tables inside (it's small) where you can dine-in and also a few tables outside in the front. Definitely recommend this place for some incredible pizza, hands down! read more

The service is great !!! The pizza is piping hot and really good!! The price for the family deal is really a bargain! Only gave four stars because the rest room was nasty with bloody fluid and other unknown stuff in the sink. The toilet was bad too I'm glad I'm not a woman. I definitely visit again. Clean the restroom more often guys. read more

Staff was really nice but the food is trash. Do not buy there Cesar salad it is pre made and croutons are stale. Mozzarella sticks where not fully cooked and cheese was hard. All meat lovers pizza was very salty a and honestly not worth it. Sausage looks super Savage. Won't be buying here ever again. read more

The pizza here is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!! The crust is crispy and the dough is perfection. I had the margarita pizza and it was delicious. If you're into chicken Parmesan subs like I am, know that the owner breads her own chicken; its not store-bought pre-made chicken parm. This will be my go-to pizza place from now on. read more

First time coming here! Probably the best cheese pizza I've had in a while. I ordered one large cheese pizza with some garlic knots on a Tuesday night. The bill was $20 and we asked for the 10% off when you check in on yelp which is always a plus. When I went to pick up the pizza, I saw they do everything from scratch, that is a good thing to see. Excellent pizza! I've been here twice recently with a friend and we loved it. The first time we ordered a large pizza that was half Caprichosa (mozzarella, prosciutto, pesto, tomatoes, black olives) and half Puttanesca. Mine was the Puttanesca side and whilst delicious, her side was so great that next time we had a large Caprichosa with double anchovies. And extra anchovies on the side. Unorthodox, but it worked! The restaurant is small - some people would say a hole in the wall - and the pizza oven is to one side of the seating. So you can watch the pizza being made by hand, including the dough being kneaded. I loved the crust - it was thin and on the outside edge, where it's thicker, it was bread-like. So tasty. We had beer with it - Modesto and Peroni, which really aren't my favorite kind of beers (I prefer IPAs) but hey, they're Italian and they were appreciated. The second time we went in it was early afternoon and we had a nice conversation with the owner who is genuinely Italian - from Sicily. The location isn't really in an area of Miami where I'd go by very much, but I definitely look forward to eating there again! read more

Pizza is really good, but their prices have become ridiculous. I ordered mozzarella sticks and for the same cost, I could've gone to Kampai Chinese Buffet and easily scarfed down all-you can-eat crab legs. There are too many other competitive, delicious pizza places in Miami that are just as good, without you having to pay $18 for mozzarella sticks. FYI... -Pizza Johnny charges $7.99 for mozzarella sticks -Di papas also charges only $7.99 -Manhattan Chicago pizza charges $10.99 for the same order of 12!!! C'mon, Pina's. Don't get defensive. I always passed by this local pizza place but never gave it a chance till today! We decided to keep it simple and ordered a large cheese pizza and some garlic knots. The cheese pizza was pretty good for a safe choice and was very affordable. The garlic knots were great as well! Definitely a great local option instead of your everyday commercial pizza place and the taste is a lot better than most of them. I will be coming back again! read more

This used to be my go to favorite pizza place, lately though they seem to be cutting corners. They are always so busy sometimes you get great pies others it isn't cooked enough it flops when you fold it like they don't want you to wait so they push pies out quick. It is disappointing. I've been to Pina's Pizza multiple times with my boyfriend and the pizza never disappoints. We order the small 12" cheese pizza which is the perfect size for the two of us. The pizza is so cheesy and delicious. From our most recent visit yesterday, they had seating available inside. Masks are required and the employees are wearing masks as well. With the pizza fresh out of the oven, you'll get these great cheese pulls lifting up your slices from the pan. You can also order pizza by the slice! I have great news for everybody, no need to go to Philly to get an original Philly cheesesteak. Pinas pizza is is an outstanding Pizza Joint, but the hidden gem is the Philly Cheesesteak. We were craving New York style pizza so we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the two slices with a drink special for $5. Toppings are .50 cent each. I got onion and green peppers on mine and my partner got one pepperoni and the other Hawaiian. The service was quick. Our pizza was cheesy and crispy. Well cooked. The only thing I wish they would've cooked my toppings more in the oven or have sautéed them before. But other than that we got a good pizza for what we paid for. I've been coming to this mall for years and never was interested in trying this pizza restaurant until now and I regret it has taken me this long. The pizza was true NY style, crispy and fresh. Wow! I am so glad I found this restaurant on my way home after a long opera rehearsal. The owner was delightful and very personable with each every customer in the place. The food was FABULOUS! And the real highlight for me, was watching all the little kids hand roll their own pizza dough on small pizza trays. My kids love to make their own pizzas and this is a super family-friendly place to be. I will definitely be back here again! read more

Called my order in, and by the time we got there, the garlic rolls were hot, fresh, and ready. Lotsa garlic. The cheese and pepperoni pizza came out quickly also, and the Strombolis were filling and delicious. Great service, excellent food, kind of cramped but the food and service more than make up for it. read more

Mom and pops Family owned. Santo Tondo was born in Siracusa a very small town in Sicily. Santo immigrated with his family to venezuela and then Pennsylvania where he was drawn to his Italian roots specially PIZZA. He started working on a small pizza shop in West Chester PA saving up to open his own, he eventually owned two shops and them sold them to move to Miami to be with his son Paolo and daughter Pina, now the Tondo family operates Pina's Pizza together in West Kendall.

The thing is, when it's a mom and pop shop, or a hole in the wall and the pizza is cheap, I don't mind. But when you're charging premium prices for pizza, the pizza shouldn't be cold. If I'm paying $15 a slice, the pizza shouldn't be cold. I came here after a day at the beach and was looking forward to this pizza all day so it was a let down :/

It's popular and for many good reasons. Star Luca is their most famous variant and admittedly, it's quite good. From the chunks of delicious cheese loaded into the star edges to the incredible thin crust, this is really a great pizza. One might even say that it's a special style that's neither resembling Neapolitan Pizzas or any other style out there. Vibe is casual and staff are welcoming. The day of…read morea few super early and late spots opened up but we decided to try to come back a different time. So if you want to dine here, make sure to book a few weeks in advance on Resy. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
