It has now been seven months…read moresince I purchased my boat, and it is still not titled in my name due to Sterling Marina failing to send the correct documentation to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Because of this, my application was declined, leaving me unable to legally use a boat that I paid $85,000 for. This is not a minor oversight, this is a basic responsibility of the dealership, and their failure has caused significant delays and frustration. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. I have made numerous phone calls, left voicemails, and sent multiple emails, and no one answers or returns them. There has been little to no effort to resolve the issue or even provide an update. This situation has turned what should have been an exciting purchase into a stressful and ongoing problem. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Sterling Marina. After thy receive your money, getting support afterward has been nearly impossible.

I would hope that your sales staff especially when claiming to be affiliated with capri would act as a representation of a helpful brand on the lake... especially around families. That meant we launched at 1:28. The man at the dock was nice about saying we could take an extra 15 minutes on our outing, I think they should have have the system set to have the rentals give 1/2 hr between to make sure the groups are not standing around waiting with a group of little kids in tow. That was the only negative in our day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every one of them was smiling. There was not a great deal for them to do except explain the rules to you, which they did well. Once you arrive you need to clean out the boat and carry your lifejackets back to the tent. (very reasonable request) You should bring cash to tip or you can check a percentage box on the last iPad you are given to sign. Have cash on hand to pay for the gas that you used when you arrive back on the dock, or you will be charged a 3% card charge. We had a spectacular day on the lake, so much fun. Much of the credit goes to the weather but this rental was perfect for our needs. If you have kids - spring for the extra money and get the slide!

We had reservations for this tour and made sure that we took their "sunset tour". Price was fair, they have a big parking lot around their office. We were fortunate enough to have Captain Mike as our tour guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of this lake, where I found out that this humongous lake is man-made. Taking this tour after a very busy, adventurous and celebratory day was well worth it. If you happen to be in the area, I recommend that you try it.

We stayed in Room 734 from April 10-13 and paid over $1,000 for what was supposed to be a romantic getaway. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was extremely disappointing. The room was not clean or well maintained. There were stains on the ceiling, soot on the wall above the fireplace, and the door was in terrible condition, dirty on the inside and peeling on the outside. The TV in the bedroom even had a black line going through the picture. The biggest issues were with the pool and tub. The pool jets didn't work, and the ladder had a missing step, which made it difficult and honestly unsafe to get out of the pool. I personally struggled getting out because of this. The "champagne glass" tub also had a yellow stain where the water comes out, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. We brought these issues to the front desk and were told there were no rooms available to switch to. We were also told a manager would call us to discuss compensation, but we never received a call back. For the amount of money we spent, this experience was unacceptable. I understand that things can go wrong, but the lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and especially customer service is what stood out the most. Very disappointing experience overall.
