Always one of our favorite spots to visit!! The coffee and food is always delicious along with the amazing service. This cute place is tucked away with an intimate setting. The blueberry cream cheese brioche ($5.99) is amazing!! They also offer sandwiches like ham & cheese, tuna croissants and chicken salad croissants. They are large and so good! You can't go wrong with anything here!

What a Gem this place is ! Service is excellent . You can enjoy your coffee and a variety of fresh & delicious pastries (try the blue berry cheese brioche) and sit on their back patio observing all the birds and beautiful Lake!

Wow! What a hidden gem! Stashed away in a distant corner of an industrial park on a barrier island in Florida is this little patisserie seemingly dropped in direct from Paris! They've got the greatest selection of baked items and coffees to enjoy waterfront as the sun rises to warm the day. The owners are friendly and happy to entertain special orders. I've had a croque monsieur sandwich (with the most heaven-sent bechamel!), the buttery, oh-so-flaky croissants, the quiches, and the most amazing to-go chicken pot pie. This pot pie was absolutely wonderful: Flaky and buttery crust, perfect sauce-to-ingredient ratio, and just enough white wine in the sauce to remind you you're enjoying the taste of France. The coffees are "ok" (I'm not big on flavored coffees) but this is my new favorite morning roost in SWFL! PS: Free, decent WiFi, and pets are welcome on the patio. Highly Recommended!

We love this cafe. Fresh pastries and they are all delicious. Great service too. Our favorite place to eat breakfast in the island.

On an island where there is not much and even less to do, a place like Pine Island Getaway Cafe really saves the day and brings some light to the locals. Beware that when driving to this place it feels like you're going the complete wrong way, although that's how it feels driving through most of Pine Island, but trust your gps for once. They have tons of bakery items that all look delicious- my mouth watered just looking at them. I thought their coffee was pretty good! As well as we got a scrambled egg croissant type thing and that was the perfect, scrumptious breakfast. They have a nice screened in patio that looks out into the nothingness of Pine Island, and it's really just a nice experience overall! I don't recommend visiting Pine Island personally but if you do or stay in Matlacha nearby, this is a great option!

Great food and service. We enjoyed the raisin croissant, and my daughter had the raspberry tart also, the egg sandwich was perfectly made. The drinks were well made and not full of a bunch of powers.

The lady at the register was very friendly. The food was tasty. The atmosphere was low key. We really liked this place.

Cute little treasure on pine island! Stopped in for a bite to eat before driving to Tampa for the day and I'm glad we did. Ended up getting a lemon tart and a croque monsieur; both were delicious. There's a really nice outside area to eat by the water too!

Small local cafe with a clean, comfortable atmosphere and a friendly staff that makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. There is a great selection of coffee, pastries and handheld breakfast options that you'd expect from a local cafe. The staff was happy to answer all of our questions and the menu prices were unbelievably affordable. The store features comfortable indoor and outdoor patio seating options with a great selection of artwork and decor available for purchase.

Definitely felt a sense of old town Cuba with photos plastered on the walls. Met with the barista who made me a cortadito from the stainless steel expresso machine. The coffee was strong and added sugar from the kiosk. The oversized chocolate eclairs and muffins were inviting, but we were on our way to lunch in Fort Myers. The owner introduced himself and had a brief discussion. The back patio had a wooden bar top with stools and a lacquered dominoes table across from a large Cositas food truck for catering. The gender neutral bathroom was clean with large tile flooring and a circle wall mirror with a black rim.

They have tables indoors and out, as well as several different menus. At the first visit we had delicious, succulent Cuban sandwiches and coffees: Iced caramel macchiato for me and Cuban coffee for hubby. The next day we got delicious pastries as a hostess gift for family we were visiting. They had all flavors: guava, coconut, chocolate, vanilla, etc. Everything was delicious without being overly sweet. On our third visit we had Cuban breakfast sandwiches (egg, ham & cheese on Cuban bread) and more of their delicious coffee. This is one restaurant we'll miss upon returning home.

The food is fun, because there's a little something for everyone. Yet the staff is kind, thoughtful and relaxed enough to make accommodations. That's rare these days. Parking may be tight, but it would be silly to rely on your car in Matlacha. There is a gorgeous park nearby with a large pier and plenty of parking. From there, the Perfect Cup is a short walk and ideal mental reset to transport anyone that visits Matlacha into the prophetic and elusive "Island Time." The bubbly and enlivening environment is enough to recharge you for a play day in Matlacha. It is inspiring to see how much this small community of even smaller business manage to survive and thrive all along a 1000' strip of delightfully walkable roadway. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the honor and privilege it is to walk through the doors of places still standing in Matlacha.

In my opinion , a well-managed restaurant would offer to accommodate a party at a smaller table or provide updates to improve the situation. Furthermore, my husband is handicapped, and while we were not seeking special treatment or free items, it was upsetting to see our place in line disregarded so blatantly while other tables were prioritized ahead of us. While the food was acceptable, it did not justify the long wait or the unfair seating system. I hope you take this feedback seriously to ensure other guests do not have a similar experience. I won't recommend anyone to this restaurant and one of your signs says what happens here we talk all week!
