There were seats available at the bar but we had to ask a couple to shift in order to sit together. I'm on a bodybuilding diet and found the menu choices limited. I can eat lean meat and vegetables, neither of which there were for breakfast. I'm unable to have eggs and the whole menu seemed to be eggs, fatty meat, and bread for the most part. I ended up getting the Western Omelet which is essentially eggs with vegetables. It came with a side and I asked if vegetables were available only to be told beans? I got the potatoes and a side of sausage to go with the omelet. Not to say it was a bad experience, but the healthier options are definitely lacking. The coffee was good. My brother enjoyed his Bloody Mary which seemed very popular as I watched the bartender make endless of these for patrons.

Holes 10, 11, and 12 come to mind. 11 is silly narrow and is under heavy fire from the nearby range. Gotta think no-one cares because range balls were whistling through a narrow band of trees and collecting on that hole as we played it. Greens were slow and had piles of ants erupting from them. Fairways were cut pretty tight but were patchy and burned out. Its a sub standard layout on which high handicappers will lose a dozen balls per round.

We were constantly waiting for the group in front of us to hit, who were constantly waiting for the group in front of them. Conditions from tee to green were very good, except for the sand traps. I hope they have sand traps at the top of their must improve lost, because they need it. Many had the underneath lining sticking up through what little sand was in the trap. There were no rakes anywhere, maybe because there was little sand. Some cart paths have been repaired, but many are still in dire need of reworked they are rutted and breaking apart with tree roots coming through. They did build a brand new bridge over the Brook on #15, their signature par 3 hole. But the course still needs a lot of work to get back to its gloried past.
