I noticed this unassuming shop on my way to my chiropractor and thought I'd see if they could help me out. They could not have been friendlier. I received a second eye exam from them. It was a night and day difference. The optometrist took her time and really made sure the prescription was right. While the other place relied on machines to tell them what to do, these people were old school in their approach and highly skilled. They had a good selection of high quality frames and provided great service at every step. If you want to make sure you're dealing with real professionals, Visionary Eyewear is a great choice. I don't normally write reviews, but this is one of those places you could walk by without even noticing and it was one of my better eye care experiences.

Dr A also looked at her eyes to see what he could diagnose. My wife has had eye trouble for years astigmatisms, retina/macula problems. Dr A advised her to see a cataract surgeon as he thought there was no other damage that he could assess. Long story short, my wife went to a recommended specialist and she now sees better than she has in many years. Dr A is a great Dr. I highly recommend his services. I did my exam and was given two weeks to try a new kind of contact lens, which did much better job to keep moisture. I went back and asked for some adjustment on my prescription and then I was given another two weeks to try that before I decided to buy. They didn't force me to order anything from them but I wanted to. I traveled a lot recently. Before my order arrived, they gave me some contact lens so I could use them for my trips. Today my order arrived but I couldn't get it as I came home late and their office will be closed this weekend. I'm flying out this weekend so I ask for help. They were so nice and were willing to drop the box on my patio. When I came home, saw my contact lens box sitting on my patio and a line of footprints in the deep snow, I decided to write this review to express my appreciation. This provider engages in unethical/fraudulent billing practice to try to extract more money from…read morecustomers. I took my daughter to them for an eye infection treatment. They prescribed medication for her and asked me whether I wanted to schedule a follow-up appointment. I told them that I would call later if I need to schedule a second appointment. Three month later, I was shocked to receive a bill for a cancelled second appointment which occurred one week after the first appointment. I called the provider and told them that I never scheduled a second appointment. They said that I made one according to their records. I reiterated that was not true and mentioned that I did not receive any card, email reminder or sms about any such appointment. They insisted that that I told the receptionist "yes" when she asked me whether I need to schedule a second appointment and that she made one for a week later. I told them that I refuse to pay for a missed second appointment that I never made and told them that I will share my experience on social media so other customers won't fall into the same trap. It is a shame that this provider tries to extort money from customers using unethical/fraudulent billing practices without providing any evidence. I will NEVER go to this provider again and plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
