The staff aren't over-the-top, but they're approachable and happy to help when you need something. I actually liked that--it felt genuine. The clothing is adorable and feels like good quality. They were also super clear about prices, especially on the jewelry, with no pressure or upselling. Just a nice, easy shopping experience all around.

Things do happen for a reason and before covid we would never see pop up events like these unless it's close to the holidays and the pressure builds to find, purchase or know what items items you'd want and may rarely see most part of the year. Thank you to Island Craft Fairs and Events they now have a calendar for 2024 not just here on Oahu but on Maui and Kauai as well. This Island Crafters Market that's held every 2nd and 4th Sundays at Ala Moana Center Mall level right outside Target which for the most part is a shaded area but is home to several local small biz with various merchandise from Pokemon cards, jewelry, mochi and even accessories for your pets. I did find a crafter friend that I'm so delighted to have found to a part of this event and did find a few items that are so adorable items like these just are so unique and special...thank you Shining Soul Jewelry! Costco was there as well and since I'm a member got to spin the wheel and win a lunch bag which was a nice treat to be a member is always a great deal, though with the upcoming Lunar new year there were a lot of items to help celebrate this upcoming special occasion with cute decor, keychain and money envelopes. Not only are my favorite stores here but, they always have fun family friendly events! Since they have a big open grassy field, they're able to have outdoor events here. One of our favorite events is Touch a Truck where all types of construction and service vehicles meet at one place. Kids can touch and go onto all types of vehicles such as excavators, fire trucks, police vehicles, and much more! Overall, I absolutely love coming here! There's also a movie theater, tons of takeout and dine in options and for dessert, Crumbl!

A place I recently just learned about as well is the bathroom by Brug Bakery. If you're wanting to enjoy some AC with a sofa, there's a resting area there with a place to fill up your water for FREE. This place has a little something for everybody.

The monthly membership is $10.99, so getting the annual membership already saves you money. But what makes it worth it is everything Target gives you throughout the year. During one of their Christmas promotions, Target literally gave me money just for opening a wish list. I didn't even buy anything and they gave me $10. I opened a wish list and Target said, here's some money. Okay, Target! Then there are the Target Circle 360 monthly freebies. Every month, you get to choose a free gift or an exclusive discount. These can range in value from around $5 to $20. This month, I received a Chardonnay lip oil valued at $20, and it shipped for free at my apartment. Other monthly freebies and discounts I've received include Biossance Squalane + H2O Micellar Makeup Remover, six bottles of soap that I paid absolutely nothing for, milk chocolate caramel pretzel crunchy clusters, and Mrs. Meyer's lavender spray. Love the easy access right off the freeway when I come from town along with entering is easy regardless which direction you're coming from and what I do love more is that whatever the reason that brings me to Kapolei chances are I stop here to either pick up lunch/dinner, pick up something at Safeway, fill up gas or even drop off donations or my recyclables...yup they have it all here. Many places have come and gone which I was sad to see my favorite craft store closing though it's nice to see that it gets filled up with newbies like Shimazu Shave Ice, 85o Bakery along with hand full of restaurants and various serves all are found where with lots of free parking makes it a great place to gather for whatever your needs. So far, I have been here twice recently for the Hawaii State Federal Credit Union. In the past, I was at Sushi Bay... a very popular eatery. I know that there's a Safeway... and I saw some fast food restaurants across the parking lot... and Hele Gas Station! That's good to know! Longs will be useful to me in the future... and maybe 85°C Bakery and Mamaya. I'll be back!
