For a couple of years after college, I worked with the most meticulous painter on the planet. He charged more than anyone else in Tulsa, OK, and he once told me, "I can charge these prices because people know the paint job I do will last for 30 years. And it lasts 30 years because I spend more time prepping than I do painting, and I use the most expensive paint Benjamin Moore makes." He had a local shop very similar to Pineapple Paint where we got all our paint; they were stellar. I've moved around over the last 20 years, and I've been unable to find a "replacement store" like the one we used... until now. The staff are always eager to help, and they are legitimate experts on all things paint-related. Sure, you might save some cash going elsewhere, but who wants to deal with flipping a coin on knowledgeable sales staff or redoing a paint job because the paint is cheap? Been there, done that, and I'd rather save some money, buy good paint, and be done with it. The paint here is great, and when I don't know exactly what to do, these folks (especially Pam, the owner) have been wonderful at helping me out. Just one example: I made a huge mess by pulling an amateur move and touching up a wall during a thunderstorm (bubbles, blistering, etc.). I panicked, drove straight to Pineapple, and Pam explained to me in detail how to do the repair. Yeah, I watched a bunch of Youtube videos beforehand, but she was able to explain things in layman's terms, answer all my questions, give me the right tools for the job, and now my wall is as good as new. I have purchased paint from this comforter over 12-plus years. Today, I bought some paint. The clerk, a white female with dark hair seemed in a bad mood. She was not helpful and seemed put off to wait on me. The final straw was that she did not help me carry the paint to my car. We recently visited the store - which we have patronized for over 30 years - and encountered such a rude - extremely unhelpful employee. She was impatient with us to say the least. We also asked her if she could dispose of our old paint can we brought in to show her what we needed and she refused. Told us to take it to the dump ourselves. This is the cutest paint shop. It feels so welcoming and warm and even has a train set that my son loves and them screams when it's time to go. I'm writing for the great service I experienced with Pam. I'm 8.5 months pregnant and had painters at my house who needed another gallon of paint. My husband and I always go to pineapple paint when painting. We love the product.....have painted and repainted our house, inside, outside and stained the deck. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Somerimes we need to touch up walls previously painted and it's nice to be able to go in or call and have them look up our paint history on their computer. We are getting our entire house repainted one color. We visited the Woodbridge Pineapple Paint Company. We were looking for a semi-natural color and picked out "Bride to be" as it looked like a neutral egg shell tone and bought 12 gallons. The painter started early morning and later that afternoon I popped over the house after work to check on progress. When I walked into the house I was horrified by the strong PINK tone to the walls...something like what you'd expect to see in a little girls bedroom. To be honest the name of the paint should have been a clue. Around 5:50pm that day I called Pineapple Paint and spoke with Katie and she asked we return all unopened cans back and she would try and rework the colors for us as the paint is non-returnable. She helped me pick out a color that was more akin to what I was looking for and by adding various tints, magically created a spectacular color that was a perfect match for our home. I cannot thank Katie enough for working with us to fix a potentially horrible situation...absolutely amazing!!! We are totally sold on Pineapple Paint Company read more
