Went here twice, the staff was friendly both times. The Pineapple Willy is pretty good and came with a decent slice of pineapple. The BLT was good with lots of bacon. I'd give it 6 stars if I could! This place is delicious! I ordered the shrimp plate, got 15 large shrimp, corn on the cob, fries ( or you can order mashed potatoes) and a piece of toast! The food here was really good. The Cuban sandwich was so good I could eat like 7 of them off of a subway turnstile. Such great service too. It was busy...very busy. Today was my families first day in PCB and after a long 13 hr drive, unpacking and getting ourselves together we decided on Pineapple Willy's for dinner. Thank goodness for them being open late bc we did not arrive till around 8:30pm and when we arrived we were seated immediately which was lovely bc it was a Friday Night and that typically doesn't happen. It was also family friendly which was perfect for us bc we have a 2&7 yo. Our server was nice and prompt once she was able to get to us and answered the multiple questions I had. I had never been here before, and if you've ever been to Panama City Beach, chances are you've either seen, heard of or tried Pineapple Willy's. It's fairly overrated, but the food was okay. it's got a GREAT view of the beach and easily accessible restrooms (clean but not clean enough in my opinion. toilet paper on floors, dirty mirrors) & gift shop, plus more. One thing to remember when you're on vacation, service isn't always going to be GREAT. especially on busy weeks such as Spring Break. My waitress (i forgot her name, fairly middle aged white woman) was fairly punctual, didn't keep us waiting long. But talking to her made me feel like an absolute idiot. Every time she'd answer a question or ask something, simply talking to us, she talked to us like we were children. I don't know about anyone else, but it was disrespectful. Tone of voice and the attitude was just a bit much. But other than that, i'd definitely recommend. Just for the experience. (The Alligator & Calamari were to DIE for. It was the worst food we had on vacation. The only good part about it was that we could sit on the deck in our bathing suits. The food was greasy and fishy. Myself and a group of friends all came to PCB for the weekend and Pineapple Willy's is always a stop for us when visiting. We got there around 9 pm Friday night, of course there was a large crowd, but the wait wasn't too long. When we were seated our waitress,Toni, promptly came to the table and took our drink orders and even helped us with her recommendations on mixed drinks! As we sat and watched we noticed our poor waitress was bouncing between a few tables, all with large parties. She apologized for the "wait" on our drinks, which we didn't think was long at all. She explained they had been pretty busy but just gotten super busy when we came in, she thanked us for our patience and didn't seem like she was rushed or even stressed even though she had other tables to tend to. Her hospitality truly can't be beat! The service we received from her was the best we received all weekend! She never stopped smiling through out our whole interaction with us. So we just landed in Panama City with the jeep, and we were looking to grab a quick bite to eat with an ocean view. We found pineapple Willys, so we grabbed a seat outside by the ocean. We ordered for appetizer gulf peel and eat shrimp and fried calamari. The peel and eat need shrimp were exceptionally bigand the fried calamari was very tasteful.
