The famous Pineapple Willy's has always been a favorite for us, yes it's a must go to while staying at the Shores but things has changed and not in a good way. I was a bit skeptical coming to this restaurant because I heard it was just a tourist trap and I'm not a huge fan of seafood but I was very impressed and surprised at how much I loved it. I got the mahi mahi basket with a side of pineapple coleslaw while my boyfriend played it safe with the chicken strips basket. The waitress offered me many sauce options and I didn't know what to choose since I had never had fish before so I went with Tartar, ranch, and remoulade. I was a bit scared but when I took that first bite I was blown away. It was the most tender/juicy piece of meat I'd ever had. It has only a very slight fishy taste so it was like biting into a crispy chicken tender with the softest inside. AMAZING. Even better with Tartar sauce. If you've never had mahi, I 100% recommend trying it out. I fell in love. The chicken tenders were also good. I'm not sure what they use to fry things but it has such good flavor and crispiness. We also ordered a side of hushpuppies. These were so crispy and warm. So good! Try it with Tartar sauce if you order. Even got virgin pina colada daiquiris to-go. They're a bit cheaper than the menu price ($10 for large) since there's no alcohol and come in a souvenir cup! Overall dinner was a bit pricey but if you're looking for a good place to splurge on this is a great option! read more

This location is right on the beach and you can access from the street and from the beach/ocean side. We stayed across the street. Definitely a biker's place. Food is typical bar food, service is slow because they are always packed. It's super loud but family friendly. They have the bar section building where it's more loud and then their other building is more comfortable it and better for families. They have great frozen drinks! read more

I really wanted to enjoy this more and maybe I hyped it up too much in my head but I was simply unimpressed. Parking is an absolute nightmare and so confusing and that was my first impression and probably set the scene. The primary lot is on a main beach front corner and it's small and the second lot down the street is even smaller and was full, the extra overflow lot was locked so no luck there. Eventually we figured something out. The entrance/host stand was as chaotic as parking. I was luckily greeted by a friendly employee near the bar area entrance who I'm sure noticed I was confused and hungry and directed us where to go to ask for a table. Didn't have to wait too long for a table fortunately but it was a weekday lunch on a not so sunny day. Tons of indoor and covered outdoor seating with great views. With how everything went up to this point I wasn't expecting much with service but service was good. No real complaints there. Food came out quickly but was subpar in my opinion. Maybe it was what was ordered but our table ordered a few things so I'm just not sure the food is all that great. It wasn't super pricey or I would have been extra disappointed. In the photo from left: kids pineapple drink cup ($6.99) with chicken littles (aka chicken strips, came with a mini rice Krispy treat so that was nice), Mahi Mahi po boy, 32oz Miami vice ($15 to start and $10 refill) and pulled pork sandwich. Drove down from Fort Walton on a friend's recommendation. I was not impressed. To quote my 14 year old daughter "the food is mid". I had Mahi Mahi BLT. It was good not great and the fries were good. I was pumped to try their pineapple slaw but quickly realized it was KFC slaw with bits on pineapple in it. There is a reason it's 1.00. I don't think it was worth a 1.00. The tartar sauce was a Ken's packet. I like slaw and tartar sauce and both were disappointing. We also had gator for an appetizer and everyone enjoyed that as well. Service was quick, they know how to feed people. The view is very nice and the selling point for the place. It's a tourist spot, mid food,made fast, and not going to wow anyone. read more

Wife and I were driving around to see what was in the area and wanted a drink so we saw this place was really busy so we decided to stop in. We sat out on the deck it was very windy but they have screens that he'll block the wind. Wife ordered the strawberry daiquiri and I ordered the Pineapple willy special. Both were good they come in three different dive plastic cups that can be refilled for a lower price if you bring the cup back any time. We also ordered the pork nachos they were good needed more spicy flavor, I asked for something another waitress brought me some spicy bbq sauce they need to drizzle this over the nachos it made them much better. read more

As always pineapple Willy's is a great place to grab a frozen cocktail and some good fried seafood. We tried the nachos this time as an appetizer. They weren't anything special but tasted good. Our food came out so fast we barely had time to enjoy them. Overall good experience as usual. Our favorite place to sit is on the long outdoor patio that overhangs the beach! To sum it up we enjoyed this food more than Sharky's, but Sharky's atmosphere was better. Schooner's was better at both. It took us about an hour to be seated on a Tuesday night in March. It was bussssy. Police were present for what I assume was crowd control and to make sure it doesn't get rowdy. There was a bar part separate from dining. The rib bucket was $26. They were ok. Glad to gave tried them but nothing special to get again. Alligator bites were good. The mahi mahi bites were not as good as Schooner's. Son's shrimp poboy looked good. He needed more than 2 packs of mayonnaise though. The Italian Sub was also decent but can go to Publix for a better sub half the price. Husband and I had the seafood platter for a late lunch. Plenty of fish, clams and shrimp with french fries and coleslaw. Could hardly eat all of it. Everything was fresh and tender. We were expecting this restaurant to be top notch, considering how packed it stays and how long the wait is. My husband ordered the Po'boy with French fries. The sandwich bread was a foot long. It had lettuce, tomato, and maybe 7 small shrimp on it. When it arrived it didn't have any of sauce on it or anything, just dry. The sandwich was basically just bread. Had the sandwich been smaller but more full, it wouldn't have seemed so skimpy. The sandwich was $16... definitely robbery! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was tender but flavorless. It was also way overly priced. I added bacon and cheese for $3 making the already $14 sandwich $17! I ordered chips with it, thinking we were going to get homemade chips but instead we got a bag of 99 cent chips. Just disappointing for the price. We will probably not go back. We went on 3/8/24. We had a party of 4 , 2 of us got the Rib Buckets, 1 got a BLT, and 1 got a clam strip dinner, so the ribs we all agreed were incredible!! And the baked beans and pineapple slaw were also great, the report on the clam strips and BLT were also phenomenal, probably the best meal we had since we got here Thursday! We will most likely be back before we leave and I will update this review! The only thing that was better than the food was the service! SHOUT OUT TO TONI!! She was on top of everything and she spent some time talking with us and she is so nice, after talking to her we felt like we've known her for years! So friendly and outgoing! First off, if you're going to PCB on it's hype time like spring break, any holiday or summer break, be aware that this restaurant will be packed. Its in the heart of PCB and beachfront. The food is good, but its not like what some of you would expect. Its kind of like a beach front Applebees?.. The best part about this is def. the view of the ocean if you choose to sit on their patio. It just brings a nice beachy vibe that I love. The Pineapple Willy's frozen drink in their tumbler is the BEST! Not only did the daiquiri I had really tasty, but I use the tumbler all summer long. It has double insulation so it keeps things frozen and cold for a long time. I do wish the server was a little more up beat, but he wasn't rude or anything. He just did'nt smile... like... at all... If you haven't been then you really haven't had the full PCB experience! It's like a PCB right of passage to have the ribs in a bucket or the daiquiri's... Since going as a kid all the way to adulthood it's never failed. It's only grown bigger and better! Now it's attached to an addition full service live music bar/restaurant that's first come first serve style and sits right off the sand attached to the original Pineapple Willy's! We sat there most recently and they had the full menu and I had DELICIOUS fried shrimp! They had several on my plate and had to have help finishing them because there was so much!
