Fun family restaurant and bar No doubt this is a tourist trap but it's a well oiled machine. Parking attendants with orange strobes to get you to an open spot. A stand alone gift shop. Several seaters. Quick service. Turned over tables promptly. Brought plastic cups for kids drinks-thank you. Appetizers served quickly. Fried gator was good. Tastes like chicken. Tons of tv's. Happened to be there for sweet 16 nc2a games. There were no less than 6 tv's in my viewing range. Huge food portions on kids menu. My sons corn dog was likely a foot long. My grilled shrimp was delicious. Seasoned and blackened. Corn on the cob was a tad mushy but better than expected. Texas toast was well flavored. French fries were very good. Potatoey and golden brown all in one. Tropical drinks were nothing special but priced to gouge. At least we left with a souvenir cup. We've ate here probably three times before when on vacation. As always the drinks are good. However the food this time was less than desirable. Members of the family had clam and shrimp baskets. A fun place to bring the kids. Clean and a great staff but the food is way over priced and they don't allow substitutions on the dishes they serve. We made sure to visit PCB after the Spring Break craziness to avoid the crowds. Anyways, we wanted to enjoy a lil liberations before food was served. Server Brooke accommodated us perfectly. She took our food order but delayed ringing it in until we were ready to eat. She was always available but we were never overwhelmed by her presence. First time coming to Panama City Beach so we had to try out Pineapple Willy's. I got the Mahi-Mahi BLT with a side of chips and pineapple coleslaw . The BLT was great, very flavorful and good size as well (even better with their homemade sauce!). The pineapple slaw was delicious and a great side to my sandwich. Our waiter was superb. A little confusing on where to see the host. Wait wasn't too long to be seated though, but they are definitely a "get them in and out" type restaurant. Of course you don't go to pineapple willies for the food. You go for the drinks, the t-shirt and the pier! We went on 5/23/21 around 430pm. We could not find a parking spot. One of the party went ahead and put our name down and there was a 20 min wait for the pier. We lucked out getting a spot in the lot instead of the overflow lot 2 blocks down. (It was full too) I had a margarita, it was plenty strong! The others had the blue raspberry daquiries that tasted like slush puppies!! I had the fried oysters and they were fantastic! Nicely breaded, fried just enough that the oyster was still meaty. I also had fries and corn on the cob. The fries weren't great but that corn was perfectly cooked! The other girls each had grilled chicken and grilled shrimp. The shrimp was good. Maybe a little over but still tasty. That chicken had nice grill marks but Lord it was sawdust dry. By the time we left, well fed, drinks and t-shirts in hand the wait time was over an hour. If you're going to pineapple Willie's, go super early! read more

Okay so this place is where you expect to dine while in Panama City Beach. Beachfront and outdoors! However, we came during the infamous "Red Tide" which had our lungs begging for mercy! People all around us were coughing and sneezing...it sounded like a clip from the movie Outbreak! Nevertheless, once the food arrived we quickly were better. The fried Grouper was the bomb! Seasoned with a Cajun blend, it was to die for. The pieces were cut up like large nuggets so they were easy to eat. I also ordered the seafood salad and this thing was massive! Definitely sharing size for 2 people. It had shrimp, imitation crab, boiled egg, cheese, bacon, olives, and much more. It was sooo good I couldn't stop eating it all! Also, ordered the Pineapple Willy's Daiquiri in the medium souvenir size ($12). Refills are $8 if you bring your mug back. I'd recommend getting it frozen though. Our server Tommy was so nice! We had an issue with hair in the seafood salad. Normally I would've been upset, but he was really nice about it and took it off the check. I know it happens sometimes...human error. But with the service of taste of the food I'd give them another shot for sure! read more

Sure, it's a little touristy, but you can't beat the location or casual beach vibe. Get a table near the end of the pier and the waves will be crushing just a few feet away. The service is good. The prices are a little high, but worth it for the setting. We started with a couple medium margaritas ($12 in take-home cups that can be refilled for $9 at any Fat Tuesday location). The margaritas were pretty good, and strong enough even without the $1 extra shot that was offered. For lunch, I opted for the fried shrimp plate with fries and the .50 coleslaw add on. My date had the Caribbean salad with blackened chicken. Both meals were very good and filling, but we couldn't resist splitting a slice of key lime pie for dessert, which was awesome! I'll admit that $74 ($90 w/tip) is a rather extravagant lunch for two, but I'd go back. read more
