Okay. I know there is a ton of high reviews of this place. Its definitely one of those places that has to fit your personality or current need at the moment. It's a very touristy locale. We only went because I saw photos of soup and crab cakes. Neither of which, was on the menu anymore. The parking lot is controlled by 2 staff members, to prevent parking from beach goers. The inside is very expansive. Our server was been there for 15 years. I will assume the atmosphere was due to spring break and family vacationers that have taken over the area. The menu wasnt what I saw on line. The menu options are slim and really, your run of the mill fare. There really isnt anything on it that makes this special special. She got the seafood ultimate salad with a side of Mahi mahi and grilled shrimp . The mahi mahi looked like ground up tuna put in a small plastic ramekin. The grilled shrimp looked good. I got the 1 lb rib bucket with Cole slaw and bbq beans. Which wasnt that bad at all. Pricing is a little on the high end. Our appetizer was sweet onion rings. Nothing special, the crust was bit hard on the rings. If your looking for a low key quiet dining experience, this isnt it. Between the mob of staff running around and TVs blaring, you will need ear muffs. Overall. I would recommend this place to a tourist, but I personally would prefer a less touristy place. read more

Pineapple Willy's is a tourist trap. Don't come here if you want really good food. At best it was plain and just ok. Eating by the gulf is the best part about this place. The shrimp Po-Boy was the plainest tasting sandwich I have ever had any where in the USA. read more

We loved Pineapple Willy's! It was crowded, but after a quick trip to the gift shop for t-shirts, we were seated. The kids loved their pineapple cups and we liked our daiquiri cups - great souvenir cups! The food was delicious. We loved the alligator bites. The drinks are great! The lemonade frozen daiquiri was awesome. All staff members were masked. Our waitress was the best. We were seated outside and the ocean was beautiful. We took our beach loving cat - first cat at Pineapple Willy's... he loved it, too! 5 stars from him. The staff was so wonderful with him and our waitress brought him his own cup of water. Our dinner here was AWESOME! We've stayed at a condo close to this restaurant during our last trip and had gotten the frozen drinks and loved them - so we planned for that this time but had never tried the food. After our disaster of a dinner out last night somewhere else, we were hoping this would redeem our dining experience. And man did it. We got gator bites as an appetizer and they came out hot and crispy maybe 5 minutes after we ordered them. Such good flavor! In my opinion, not enough of them for the price, but they were delicious. My husband got the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich and I got the Caribbean salad with Mahi Mahi and a side of hushpuppies. The fish was absolutely incredible - a great, light, flavorful fish and the fries and hushpuppies were cooked perfectly. Our server Kaylee was awesome and super sweet! Attentive and we chatted for a bit about our visit and other great places to eat. Will definitely make this a place we eat at every time we come to PCB! read more

Fun family restaurant and bar No doubt this is a tourist trap but it's a well oiled machine. Parking attendants with orange strobes to get you to an open spot. A stand alone gift shop. Several seaters. Quick service. Turned over tables promptly. Brought plastic cups for kids drinks-thank you. Appetizers served quickly. Fried gator was good. Tastes like chicken. Tons of tv's. Happened to be there for sweet 16 nc2a games. There were no less than 6 tv's in my viewing range. Huge food portions on kids menu. My sons corn dog was likely a foot long. My grilled shrimp was delicious. Seasoned and blackened. Corn on the cob was a tad mushy but better than expected. Texas toast was well flavored. French fries were very good. Potatoey and golden brown all in one. Tropical drinks were nothing special but priced to gouge. At least we left with a souvenir cup. Would be a fun place to throw down drinks and gorge on apps on a beachy day just be sure to bring your credit card. The experience won't come cheap. We've ate here probably three times before when on vacation. As always the drinks are good. However the food this time was less than desirable. Members of the family had clam and shrimp baskets. A fun place to bring the kids. Clean and a great staff but the food is way over priced and they don't allow substitutions on the dishes they serve. Went there today for what we hoped were drinks and lunch and relaxation. 30-40 minutes after sharing the Tuna dip my wife and I both became EXTREMELY ill. Called the manager after we departed in a rush (paying our $140 tab) and he has no care in the world other than to say the dip was "fresh". When challenged was it made today, he said it was "fresh", but would not say when it was made. Never made any offer to take anything off the bill...be careful if you have the dip today. read more

I do recommend pineapple Willy's, went on my latest PCB beach trip, however, I can't give a 5 stars due to the cost, parking, and portions. Service was good, atmosphere amazing as always (you have to go at least once) but the WAIT and parking is just literally insane. Like you're going to wait 2 hours, it sucks. And truly the food is not worth the price. I honestly wasn't expecting much as far as the food, we mostly went here for the 32oz drinks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of everything we ordered! We visited Pineapple Willy's twice during our stay at PCB. It was convenient to have a gate straight from our condos to the restaurant. The first night we sat inside and it was very loud. Food service was quick and the food was okay. The second time we visited for lunch and set outside. The atmosphere was great and much better than inside.
