We went twice! Only because the first time was end of day and they were out of pork and brisket! So, you know, take note of that. The boudin balls were really tasty. All the sides were. The wings were smoked, honey hot, and came with a homemade sauce which was delicious. All the bbq items were super tender, melt in your mouth, plain awesome. The staff were all very helpful and I had questions on cook time, when things were wrapped etc. which they were happy to discuss. I think they excelled most at tenderness. The meats weren't very Smokey which my daughter loved but my son lamented. The flavor of the meats were all excellent. The cornbread, also excellent. They place has a backyard bbq feel to it which we liked. There is a parking lot out back, we never had a problem parking but the lot was not huge. This was also the least expensive dinner/lunch we had. I terms of value you cannot beat this. Update: we went back the next day because.. why not? Got more ribs, turkey and brisket burnt ends. We love this place and visit as often as we can. I always have the dry rubbed smoked wings. Spouse has the pulled pork with some ribs. Today we tried the squash casserole, it was tasty. We had their beans, which are always delicious. The interior has a lot of license plates and interesting memorabilia. The staff is always friendly. We have never had a bad experience and this is probably the 30th time we have dined in. They also have an inside dining room and an outside bar and seating area. read more

Good spot for BBQ! Especially loved the wings, but everything was pretty solid. You go up to the counter inside to place your order, they give you a buzzer, and then you go pick it up from the counter once it is done. Short wait time - 5-10 mins max. There was ample outdoor seating on the deck and they had live music which was a treat. read more

This is some of the best bbq I've had in FL! The food was prepared quickly (about 10 minutes) and the setting feels very family casual. The ribs fall right off the bone and taste amazing, especially with the white Alabama sauce they have. The wings have a hint of smokey taste which is nice and the Collard Greens and mac n cheese are so of the best I've had from a restaurant. I'm also not a big fan of cornbread but there's tasted great. It almost tastes sweet probably from the butter. Lastly, I was not a big fan of the banana pudding but given how good the rest of the meal was, it's not a big deal. Someone else may like it but I'll definitely try another option. I will be returning to this establishment the next time I'm in PCB and I recommend anyone looking to find great BBQ by the beach to come check this place out. read more

We are local to PCB and avoid the Pier area during the visitor season however we had a knack for BBQ and decided to take a chance on heading over to Moe's. OMG, the BEST BBQ IN TOWN HANDS DOWN! Feed your family with the huge deals and haul it home! The air conditioned inside had plenty of tables and places to belly up and have dinner. The people were amazing, the service was outstanding, the food was top notch! We ordered two large rib platters with mac n cheese, marinated slaw and potato salad. Omg fall off the bone ribs, no sauce needed! The Mac n Cheese was homemade and seriously the best ever! The pickled marinated slaw was perfect with the ribs! We've been on vacation for the past 11 days and "Finally" I had my 1st good meal. Went to Moe's last nite and from a block away we could smell the Smokey goodness. Ordered the pork platter with slaw and potato salad. It also came with corn bread. Pork was cooked to perfection and along with their sauce- 5 out of 5 stars. Slaw was good but the potato salad was perfect. To top off this great meal was the best corn bread I have ever been served. Wife had the pork sandwich and beans and rice. She loved the beans/rice and commented to me how much she loved the pork. We have another 12 days here and this will for sure be a repeat. ( I heard from the cook that Wednesday is brisket day - but they sell out quick, so recommend to come for lunch) This a must go to for sure!!! read more

Got the turkey platter with Mac and cheese and banana pudding. At first glance I thought it was too small a plate for $16, but turned out to be the right amount of food. Turkey was tender and not overly smoky, the Mac was tasty, and the banana pudding was great. But the grilled jalapeño cornbread was next level! My wife and I were staying in Panama City Beach and walked a mile and a half down the road on President's Day Saturday, so the road was quite full of cars. We entered Moe's and it is fairly small and I quickly noticed that they didn't have draft beer and a can of Jai Lai beer was seven dollars. Probably 4 1/2 stars because of the beer situation. I ordered a Diet Mountain Dew instead. Not bad, but not a tasty tap beer to go with my barbeque. I ordered the pulled pork platter with collard greens, which was their special side and really good. Not too greasy like some collard greens are when they add bacon fat or some stuff like that. I got baked beans as my other side. They were okay, but really sweet and had some nice chunks of jalapenos in there. I mentioned to my wife that they were very brown sugar flavored. The pulled pork was amazing. Really juicy with a smokey goodness and they give you a pretty good size portion of meat and two chips of pickles. The sauce is really special. A tad sweet with a nice kick of spiciness as well. I added some additional squirts to the already few squirts that come out with it. I had two bites of the cornbread. i am not a huge cornbread fan, but theirs wasn't bad at all. Nice crust of butter on top. The man and lady behind the counter were nice and they had wi-fi as well. Big plus. read more

Family was hungry for lunch, we spotted this little place. Stopped in and were greeted by Tim. He explained how it all worked, order outside eat inside or take-out. We got the Doublewide platter (feeds3-4) the smoked turkey was very flavorful, beans were great too. Definitely ask for the cornbread it was so moist and full of flavor too. They also had a special Brisket Burnt Ends platter we shared and the Burnt Ends were the first to go! Definitely check this little gem out!!! read more

When you stop in 1 time and it's good you always wonder if it really is or did you hit a good night. This place is no fluke. While in Panama City Beach we stopped in for dinner and a drink. We were pleased that everything was like we remembered it over a year ago. The rib's were tender with lots of meat. Fall off the bone and the dry rub was full of flavor. No wonder they sell out of these on a regular basis. We had smoked turkey also. Thick slices and a good smoke ring. Lots of flavor. Everything was served hot and fresh. The Mac n Cheese isn't from a box. Gooey cheese all the way through. Mud Pie was great. They have a stew that isn't always on the menu but when it is, get it. We had a corn mixture for the 1st time and that is a definite yes. Drinks are reasonable at the bar. Bartenders are so friendly and it has a "Cheer's" type of atmosphere. The pulled pork dinner with Mac n cheese, baked beans and a slice of cornbread was the best meal. I'm always looking for good pulled pork, this pulled pork was so so good. Coming from Kansas City, I'm a big fan of BBQ, and always willing to try something new, especially when I travel outside of my familiar KC territory. Hunkered down in PCB because of COVID-19, I zoned in on Moe's Original BBQ within walking distance from our condo for a little takeout lunch. I ordered the small rib platter, which wasn't so small (4 ribs, 2 sides and cornbread). The cornbread was a tasty delighter, buttered and then grilled on the flat top just to add a little crunch. The ribs were tender, juicy and flavorful with a tangy, spicy sauce that was a little different than what I'm accustomed to back in KC, but delicious still the same. To me, it had a little bit of a BBQ with tabasco vibe, that would be great on wings too. The mac and cheese was respectable, but not cheesy enough for my liking - it was more like a mac and cheese bake, but don't be confused, I still ate it all. The baked beans delivered a nice showing as well. All in, Moe's didn't disappoint. For BBQ on the beach, this place is definitely a contender. I'll be back to try the pulled pork and give those nachos people keep talking about my undivided attention! read more
