We LOVE Pineland Dental. They are gentle but thorough. Can't find a better dentist anywhere in the Castle Rock/Larkspur/Palmer Lake area!

My rating is really 3-4 stars, but I gave the benefit of the doubt since I will give this practice another shot. I've been searching for a dentist for over a year & a half since mine of 40 years retired; change is not easy. Anyway, patients are asked to wait in the lobby of the building, rather than the lobby of the DDS office itself, I was told because of HIPAA, which didn't make sense since I could hear three other conversations going on during my cleaning. In general, it was rather noisy, but PTSD makes me more sensitive, so I will bring earbuds & my own calming sounds next time. Hygienist Jeanette was very professional; her decades of experience are apparent in her expertise. She was very attentive & compassionate. I didn't get a lot of time w/ Dr. Miller who told me I had 2 cavities while I was checking out at the reception desk. I knew about one that I've had for many years, but would have liked more conversation about the other one in the exam room & felt a little rushed. Next time, I'll ask more questions. read more

What a wonderful experience! I had to find a new dentist since my old dentist stopped taking my insurance. I've heard good things about Pineland Dental and Dr. Britt so that was my go to choice. On my recent visit the care I received was excellent, however the billing was not. Before my treatment I was quoted $200. When the bill was presented, it was paid without looking as it was expected to be the amounted. When I returned home and looked at the bill it was $266 minus 10% totaling $239.40. Since the bill was already paid I let it go. If I was told the bill was to be $266, I may have looked elsewhere for treatment as I and my wifes insurance was not accepted. I was quoted $160 for the same treatment in Castle Rock, but choose to look for treatment at a local business. read more

There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how INCREDIBLE this office is. I had a cleaning with Alita and it was by far the best most thorough, yet gentle, cleaning I have ever had! She took the time to address my needs and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I normally experience tons of sensitive during my cleanings but today I had none and my teeth feel cleaner then they ever have! Dr. Britt and her team are such a breath of fresh air! Please read this as multiple 5-star reviews - 5 stars for all of the people I've worked with at Pineland Dental recently and 5-star for every visit!!! I have been a customer of Pineland Dental since they opened and have always been satisfied in all these years. Currently my hygienist is Alita, and she is an over-the-top professional who is caring, courteous, thorough, and efficient. I have been having a few issues with teeth sensitivity, and she addresses this each time I have a cleaning, making sure I never experience any discomfort or pain from her methods. She has been willing to adjust what she does to ensure I am comfortable, yet she always makes sure I am satisfied and have a thorough cleaning. Dr. Britt is also extremely professional, caring, and empathetic to my needs and opinions. Her exams are the most thorough I have ever experienced at a dentist, and she clearly tells her customers what she is doing and why. Dr. Britt is personable and friendly without being overly so. She is efficient and knowledgeable. Today I was in for an exam because I have been experiencing some tooth pain that I just couldn't pinpoint. I was concerned I may be developing a cavity or that a tooth that had a tiny fissure may have turned into a full blown crack that required repair. Dr. Britt used multiple methods to evaluate what was going on...including listening to my symptoms. I felt she did a thorough examination. While I was prepared for bad news, Dr. Britt clearly explained what was going on, gave me materials to read for resolving the issue (without needing any repairs by her - Yay!!), showed me photos of my teeth to explain what she was seeing, helped me understand how I can adjust my current mouth guard to help, offered options for day-time lightweight liners or retainers if I wanted to go that route, and provided pain reduction options that suit my health-care style (which is minimal medications). Not only did the exam by Dr. Britt go well. I want to highlight the professional and efficient care I received from Tiffany (hope I have your name right!) at the front desk. She was great setting up this "extra" appointment for me - offering alternatives to suit my work schedule. After today's appointment, she took the time to look into my dental insurance plan to see what coverage they might provide for the day-time retainers that are a treatment option. She clearly provided the cost with insurance allowances as well as an understanding of how the charges would look without insurance (I'm currently in an open enrollment period so this information was extremely helpful). Dr. Britt's office has done a great job modifying their practices for extra careful practices to deal with COVID. Overall, I would highly recommend Pineland Dental. read more

It's not that they got me in the same day that exceeds my expectations. DR. Britt is truly the most compassionate honest and highly educated dentist any of our family has ever been to. My wife and I moved back to Larkspur ,Colorado three years ago, after 10 years in Scottsdale. We wanted to establish a relationship with a local dentist, and it was a tossup between going to one of many in Castle Rock, or to Pineland Dental right in Larkspur, with its all female staff headed up by Brittney Bevis DDS. The dentists down in Scottsdale had a well deserved reputation for being excellent, although expensive, and so I was surprised, after going there, that Pineland's charges, for their services rendered, were even higher. The staff at Pineland is very friendly, and it was convenient, so we stayed with them, until just recently. Having a scheduled appointment for a routine cleaning, I arrived 5 minutes early for a noon appointment on a Friday, but was kept waiting for close to 20 minutes before the hygienist brought me back. At about one minute before 1PM, she announced that she was not quite finished, but she had a 1PM appointment, so she asked could I come in for a brief appointment to finish up the following week and it would be a short visit. I agreed, and when I paid the bill that day, I paid for her complete service (although it wasn't completed) , the x-rays, and for those of my wife's as well. When I returned the next week, she finished up and called in doctor Bevis to do a cursory exam that took about 2 minutes. I checked out with the receptionist and then just paid the $58 for the exam. I was shocked to get a call from the receptionist a couple of hours later, who informed me that, I needed to pay an additional $106 for the finish up cleaning that had been done. What??? I informed her that the reason I returned was that the hygienist, was late the previous week, and it was my understanding that I would not be charged for her completing her work, which could have been done if she had taken me in promptly. She said she would discuss it with Dr. Bevis and get back to me. It didn't take long before she called and said that Dr. Bevis insisted that I pay the additional $106 for a full cleaning. That decision let me know that Pineland's cash flow and receipts was a lot more important to them than having satisfied loyal patients. As a result, I will be taking my wife and my business elsewhere and would suggest anyone who considers going to Pineland to be aware of their mercenary attitude. read more

Over the decades we have had many different dentists, but this one is a keeper. I started going to Dr Britt when she first moved into town, and I was quickly becoming disillusioned by a dentist in Castle Rock who had just moved his practice. I like that Dr Britt and her staff (thanks Katie!) explain exactly what is going on in my mouth, and figure out how best to fix any problems. She takes efforts to further her education, staying on top of technology that can simplify diagnoses and hopefully reduce problems down the road. Billing is straightforward and prices seem to be comparable to those we have seen elsewhere, even now that we are retired and no longer pay for a dental plan. Never had a problem here, and my husband "joined up" a couple of years ago, is just as happy. Our teeth have never been in better shape! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Britt for 5+ plus years. I struggled many years prior to finding a dentist that I felt comfortable with and one that did not gouge me and/or recommended services that were not necessary. I found that Dr. Britt was the "one". She takes pride in servicing her customers as well as her staff. I have worked in the health/dental insurance business for over 30 years and have seen more than I can remember pre-treatment estimates come across my desk for approval. Dr. Britt was referred to me by a friend and I couldn't be happier. I recently relocated to Colorado and wanted to find a great dentist. Dr. Britt's personality and welcoming staff made me feel comfortable in what I feared the most, going to the dentist. The modern clean office was gorgeous and relaxing. The examine was informational and painless. She has the most up to date technology, some of which I'd have never seen before. Dr. Britt explained everything that was happening during the visit, reviewing xrays with me etc. At my prior dentist's office I would not even see the doctor at a standard cleaning. However Dr. Britt was present for the whole procedure. Dr. Brit was professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. I am no long afraid of going to the dentist, but actually had an enjoyable experience! I would like to share my family's wonderful experiences at Pineland Dental for the last three years. First of all I live in Ohio and fly my family to see Dr. Britt two times a year--she is that great! The state-of-the art office is soo comforting the minute you walk in. The Staff is always friendly and informative regarding billing, procedures etc... The waiting area has a gas fireplace and the entire office is inpeccably clean. I have NEVER had a bad experience there from the moment I checked in to paying the bill! The office manager, Deana, is always present to ensure patients satisfaction with every aspect of the experience at Pineland Dental. Now, to get the Dentist-Dr. Britt. WOW! That kind of sums her up from her initial introduction with you to the finish of your treatment. I never feel rushed or like I am in a "factory" when being treated by her as I have with past Dentists. She is truly a caring, gentle, informative Dentist. Her personality exudes the minute you meet her. You feel like you are talking to a friend instead of a Dr. She delves into your medical history (never had a dentist do that) as some issues may interfere with her treatments. Impressive! She put a cap on my tooth and it actually looked better than the original one! She remembers you and your family from visit to visit and asks about what has been going on.....she is more than a Dentist --she is a caring person. I can't think of one complaint about my experiences at Pineland Dental. Also, she and Deana give back to the Community on their days off. Visiting schools to instruct children on proper/early dental care, sponsor free dental treatments to underprivileged children, volunteer for various causes etc.... Oh, by the way Dr. Britt found time to be a certified Yogi instructor and teaches special needs adults one day a week, free of charge. Do not use this dentist. The front office is lousy, there is no customer service and if you have a problem they will not help to resolve it. I started there about 9 months ago and after the first service it took 6 months to get the bills straight. For cleanings I pay nothing but I kept getting bills saying i owed over two hundred dollars. When all things were cleared up by my undertaking I was right and owed nothing. I just had a check up at Comfort Dental in Centennial and they were excellent. I walked in to see about their service walked out with a filling filled and three family members getting a check up. They knew exactly how my insurance worked unlike Pine land dental who wants to hassle you. Oh and my wife's teeth were fine where pineland said she needed 4 fillings. Guess just a young doctor trying to drum up business. Stay away from this place read more

I am assuming those that have given Dr Britt good reviews have Dental Insurance and are able to pay the extremely high cost of service at Pineland. You really should compare with other Dentist before going here. Dental Implants are $5000.00 per tooth and they are farmed out to others to make as they don't make them in-house. I have also heard that if you don't spend enough money she will fire you.....yes thats right...she will no longer provide service to you and family. Have Dr Britt provide you with a cost of service sheet and compare with other Dentists in the area.....a real eye opener.....Not going to see this Dentist! read more

I love this place!! I have always found the staff knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They always make it a wonderful experience and educate (not pressure) you about everything that is going on. The front office has always been on my side even helping fight my insurance when they denied a claim. We won by the way. How often does that happen? Dr. Britt installed a crown for me that lasted just a little over four years. Information suggests crowns should last much, much longer, in fact I have other crowns installed by another dentist that were put in over a decade ago and still performing strong. Dr. Britt was not amenable to fixing her obvious flawed work without further compensation. I would highly recommend avoiding Dr. Britt. read more

After learning my co-worker drove over an hour to see her old dentist who opened her own practice right in my backyard, I decided to give Pineland Dental a try. I could not be HAPPIER with my switch in dental care. Dr.Britt's extensive background in public health, special needs dentistry and cosmetic dentistry speaks for itself; but so does my new smile! The staff was more than helpful in explaining my insurance and working to get the most out of it. Dealing with insurance is never easy, but they were great advocates on my behalf. (In fact, my last office made me bill my own insurance as "too many patients blame us for insurance problems") The ladies at Pineland Dental relieved my anxiety with humor and simple COMMUNICATION. I agree! Do not use this dental practice. Unless this business can fix the problems with their billing, this new dental office is doomed. Beware of over billing, over the contracted amount due from the insurance company. They are trying to add their "write-offs" to the patient's bill. When a dentist accepts insurance payments, they also agree to accept the contracted maxium dollar amount that the insurance company will pay. Pineland Dental is trying to pass the difference onto the patient. This unethical practice took me two hours to explain to the office manager/billing woman/part owner? who claims to understand basic accounting. After refusing to accept her "double talk" she finally found the $263 "mistakes". Most people would probably throw up their hands and pay. I think that is their unethical mode of operation, hoping people will accept what she says. Beware, Beware, Beware. It is not worth the hassle even though I liked the dentist. read more
