This is an amazing place to get your lash extensions for the first time. I only had one con (which I personally think is a big con). They didn't really help you choose what kind of extension to get. I ended up with C curl natural 11 mink 90 lashes. After doing some research I realized that the lash that I want (a little more bold) should've been a C curl natural 12 synthetic mink. Other than that, first timers, ITS ONLY $45!!! That's crazy cheap for how good this place is. It's on the second floor. Only three beds. MAKE A RESERVATION! They fill up quick due to their first timers coupon. They've got relaxing music and it took about an hr. They were super nice and making sure nothing burned. This was my first eyelash extension experience. I have tried on falsies before and I hated how distracting they felt on top of my eyelids. They say that it's normal to lose 3-5 lashes in the first day, but I feel like I've lost 3-5 lashes within this whole week! The studio is clean and bright and the receptionist and technicians were very welcoming. Got a Groupon and tried to make an appointment for the same week--appointments fill up quick! Ended up making an appointment two weeks in advance. I wasn't sure what to expect since there are mixed reviews but I had a great experience. This is my fifth time getting my lashes done so I know the basic procedure. But if it's your first time they recommend a look for you (I got J curl 12). It's been two weeks and I still have a pretty full look. I was initially happy with this place. Until recently. I don't know if they changed technicians or what but the technician was so rough that the entire service was painful. She kept tugging on my eyelashes and I even felt her pull a few out. In addition, when she pulled off the tape around my eyes, part of my skin came off around my eye area. Worse part I had referred two friends here who came in for lash extensions and never got referral money for it. When I asked for a refund for the painful 1 hour experience of my life, not only did they not pick up the phone, they had an attitude and did not even apologize for being so rough and ripping my skin off! They offered me 1/2 the service for a refund as a consolation. I didn't even bother to pick it up. Also at the time, I has 2 week revolving lash fills appointments on routine and they conveniently never contacted to reach me to ask if I wanted to cancel. Extremely unprofessional. Some of the technicians are good, some are horrible. Unless you want to leave your lash conditions up to chance, I wouldn't bother coming here. Just curious if by pink lash do they mean pink eye infections? Worst eyelash extensions I have ever received! Do NOT go here. They use cheap products and bad glue. The lash technician that did my lashes was awful and left me with a disgusting eye infection. It was really easy making an appointment with Pink Lash. I arrived for my appointment the receptionist at the desk was very helpful guiding me into the process and explaining any questions I had. The place felt bright, comfortable and clean. The music was relaxing as well as it had put me to sleep at some point through the process. After being instructed to take off my shoes and laying down. My technician offered me a blanket and went ahead to start the process. This was when this went to a downfall. Before anything, I asked her what products was going to be used on my eye besides the glue and lashes. Tell me what is, tape, water, makeup remover, etc.? She did not know how to answer my question, she paused, said "uh" then said "nothing". I was very anxious and worried. I doubted her answer. She proceeded to do the taping and she applied something wet to my eyelids. I asked her what it was, she said "water". It sure did not feel like water and whatever it was, it was too much of it, borderline seeping into my eyes making it feel irritable. At that point, i was a little scared because I'm allergic to so many things and I don't know what this lady was really was putting on my eye after she had jsut said "nothing". Now, I don't know if it's a language barrier or what. Anyways ... I really wish I was creative enough to find a way to ask her to eat a mint or something. Maybe it should be required because I spend the rest of the process laying there holding my breath wanting it to be over with already. Her hygienic odor was a little unbearing for me. I honestly did not know what to do or say at that point. My eyes were already taped and I layed there imagining how awkward it is to just ask her to stop because she smells. I contemplated and was thinking, like fine, after a bit it might not bother me as much. After some frustration, I gave up on interrupting and causing any type of scene. The bad part was not over yet, the technician was not gentle at all. This has to be the most "painful" eyelash process so far. I'm not sure what she was poking at, where was she trying to put the lash and how she was doing it. I relied on PInk Lash to have very experienced technicians. I usually don't feel the process like how I just did. I have some friends that really likes this place and really hates this place because of their different opinion on the quality of their lashes. It is written to take 90-120 strands, and she definitely took less than 90 strands, which is no different from the natural one that I spent 50 on. And they made excuses that it was because I had few eyelashes. When I went to other stores, everyone would say that I had a lot of eyelashes myself and they would get me more lashes to make prettier. I definitely did not get what I paid for, it is even worse than natural ones I did in other stores yet I spent much more money on this one. The process of making an appointment was pretty smooth and they'll text you a day before your appointment to remind you/have you confirm. The receptionist wasn't the nicest and seemed really annoyed that I was there. My actual lash technician was very sweet though. I told her my lash length and curl preference and she told me it wasn't doable at first until I said that it it was my regular eyelash look. She was very gentle on my eyes and I fell asleep while she was gluing on the lashes. She also asked multiple times if I felt any discomfort. My actual lashes are just ok, they looked fine when she first completed them. I definitely wanted something more dramatic, and it seems like she misunderstood my request. It's also been a week and a half and I've noticed that a good amount of lashes have fallen out so my eyes are uneven, and they don't sit well on my eyes sometimes. I feel like the lashes aren't all glued on straight so they'll face different directions sometimes until I brush them out. I've had lash extensions long enough and at a couple of different places to know that they usually look better after a week and a half. Gonna give them one more shot before I move onto a new salon. So this place is pretty nice. Its a nice blend of practicality and a nice and warm 'spa' experience. Its right next to M&M studio on the second floor. The reception was super helpful, god bless her soul. I do not remember her name, but she was able to do an eyelash removal from another salon for only $30! They have a book that shows you the type of eyelashes they offer and the curl patterns and whatever. She was very delicate with my lashes, and informed me about the shady practices from other salons. Unfortunately I was a victim of such a place where they glued many of my own lashes to one of the extensions, causing me weeks of irritation and pain I neglected due to a busy schedule, and wanting to keep up appearances. I will be coming back for sure, their prices are extremely competitive, and they are extremely professional, laid-back and friendly. They seemed a bit long (I wanted to go for a natural look as a trial for my wedding) so next time I think I may get 10-11. At first I was very happy with my service. Everyone is super friendly and you can't beat the rates. It took the technician about an hour to apply 90 lashes that looked great at first, but after only one week at least 50% of the lashes have fallen out. The glue that they use seems extremely weak, every time I look down I see 3-4 lashes that have fallen out on my shirt, computer, etc. The only consolation is that my real eyelashes don't seem to be falling out with the fake ones.
