I really wish I hadn't come here. I needed a pedicure and was in the area. I went with the Pink Mimosa Pedicure which is $55. The only employee there was Alyssia and she said she was the manager. I showed her the design on wanted on my toes which was a solid chrome color. She told me gel would be an additional $15. I said ok. When I was sitting in the chair she asked me if I wanted callous remover and I said yes. She then proceeded to do what all nail salons do when you have gel polish on your toes and filed it off with the electric file which took a total 90 seconds for both feet. She put some type of product on the bottom of my heels and put plastic over them. My feet kept slipping off of the pedestal while she was clipping my cuticles and I didn't understand why she didn't fix this. She started using that grater tool on the bottom of my right foot and cut me in multiple places and then cut me so bad on my big toe it was bleeding profusely. She apologized and I told her I don't want her to use that thing. She said that was her fault because she didn't check to see if I had callouses on my big toe and that the tool was brand new and sharp and she should've been aware of that. She said this. She then squirted some stuff on the cut and I had to ask her what that was. She didn't volunteer that information. She said for the inconvenience, she wouldn't charge me for the callous remover (of course not because you only worked on one foot before cutting it up) and that she would upgrade my pedicure to a Bellini which was basically nothing. I asked her for a bandaid and she said she didn't know if they had any!! I told her I needed a bandaid and she said she would check and came back with a bandaid. When I was checking out, I noticed a sign that said they are prohibited from using tools like the one she cut me with. My total was $105. She charged me $10 to remove my gel which is unheard of, $15 for gel polish which is customary, and then $25 FOR THE CHROME POWDER!!! She did not tell me it was extra when she was telling me the add on prices. I wish I hadn't paid them because it's the next day and my foot hurts so bad! This place needs to close down. I was the only person in there and no one else showed up the entire time I was there except for my brother. The employee said she's been in the nail business for over 10 years but she's using a prohibited tool and cut me multiple times with it. I tried calling them 3x since being there yesterday to request my money back after seeing how badly she cut me and I'm limping and the phone just keeps ringing and ringing. Not a single thing was bad, besides the distance for me Booking the day before for a mani/pedi for my mentee and a pedi for myself was extremely easy online with prompt email follow-up. I appreciated the quick help after hours. Upon arriving we were oftered champagne, mimosas or water. We started within minutes of arriving! The salon is beautiful and immaculately clean. Visited midday Friday for a little self care time. It's a cute cozy spot that gives spa vibes. There was only one other customer when I got there. I was asked to wash my hands and then I was seated. My nail tech, Rosaland, brought me the nail color options and offered me something to drink. The options were water, white wine, white sangria, and mimosa which they were out of. I felt the need to update my review. Several of my nails came off within the first two weeks - I believe it was 4, but the number escapes me as it has been a while. The owner did contact me via phone after we exchanged a few emails and asked if I bumped my nails, etc. She reiterated that the tech is licensed, but it's pertinent to understand that wasn't my concern - my concern was my missing nails. As a customer, I would suggest instead of the questioning that the business asks the customer what can they do to make it right. Michelle did offer a $10 gift certificate for a return. I appreciate the kind gesture. I am not certain if I will return given the location is 25 mins away (I don't mind a drive for good service) and I was quite disappointed (and embarrassed) to be on vacation with so many missing nails. Definitely my new favorite nail spot. As far as location, its conveniently located off of a main highway, inside of a cute little shopping complex. The inside of the salon is clean and modern; primarily white with touches of pink and accents of gold. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and offered a beverage while I waited. I will say, for making an appointment, I still had to wait over half an hour before I was serviced. They did offer food and beverages (the fun kind) during my wait, so I was content. Onto the service. I booked a basic "Pink Mimosa" pedicure, and was serviced by Linda. Instead of going to "The Wall" (you know what I'm talking about) and picking your desired color, as they do in many other traditional salons, you sit and are instead given a Rolodex of colors to go through. Although not a monumentus difference, the lazy girl in me was ectastic at this newfound luxury. The pedicure itself was phenomenal. Although I selected the standard one, she made sure she was thorough and efficient. There was a big toe that was cracked, (one bad Michael Jackson move) but she fixed it and made it look like new. After 2 visits to Pink Martini, I'm ready to write a review. And that review is ... WOW! I emailed prior to my first visit because I'm very picky about my pedis - which is why I usually do them myself. Graciously, the owner emailed me back and assured me that Rosaland would be a great fit for my needs. She was absolutely right! Rosaland is a perfectionist who treats my tootsies with 'kid gloves' - meaning that she is super gentle yet she got me feet all the way together. After 2 sessions with her, I have no problem driving past dozens of nail salons to get to this salon. The ambiance is cool and cute, there is plenty of parking, and they adhere to appointment times very well (even on Saturdays). I can't think of anything negative to say about Pink Martini. I live close to the Battery, but will continue to drive to Doraville as long as this spot is open. read more

I visited this salon on April 30 and today is May 10 and I have already lost one nail. I felt that my technicians for my pedicure and my manicure were very new in their experience. I was disappointed with the pedicure. I was supposed to get the luxury pedicure the wax was far too hot and melted straight through the bag onto my foot. There was no massage the water was at first far too hot and then when I asked for A little more cold water she added it and walked away and then it got completely cold. From looking at this nail bar the aesthetics are beautiful however the choices with nail polishes are very poor and I feel that I did not get my moneys worth. I am disappointed that in less than two weeks my nails are starting to come off. I will not be contacting the nail bar as I do not want to have them do anything with my nails. So wanted to try something new for my upcoming trip to Vegas and we frequent the H Mart plaza the shop is in so ok right?!? Wrong! I made an appointment with an available nail tech which was McKenzie. I got the sculpted full set for around $120. I was told to pick a color unbeknownst to me there is an additional charge for polish. TBH the nails looked ok w/o and if given the option I probably wouldn't hv gotten the color but that means less money for them. I got my nails done on Tuesday by Thursday I had cracked my pinky in the middle and had to take glue with me on vacation. Every day after that a nail or two lifted and I was glad I had glue. In hindsight I understand why it was so bad.. my nails were too short to hold the acrylic or gel without a nail tip. Really disappointed in the customer service here. I scheduled 2 appointments for NYE. One of the two appointments was made for the wrong day. Someone from the salon texted me almost immediately (within 60 minutes), about the mistake, but when the salon wasn't able to accommodate the correct date and I needed to cancel I was charged $40 for a no-show/late cancellation. The second time I made and appointment I got my nails done by another tech because LiLi only works on weekends and I didn't have time to come on Saturday which was a very business day. My appointment was at 1:20p and I kept them posted the whole time on my where about so the timing was accurate around 2:30p when I let them know I finally found someone to fix my tire and put a new rim on. I was told to just be safe and it was still ok to come. When I get there I was speaking to the owner Michelle and was told that things happen when it comes to my nails like chipping the very next day and my nail breaking the very next day and that she doesn't know what I did for that to happen.That never happens when I get my nails done . I been getting my nails done since I was 15 and I am 34 now. I was also told by the owner that we will fix it but you have to wait until she is finish with all her appointments. I have worked in many corporate salons in the beauty industry and managed two of them myself while the owner lived in another state . Customer service is key. I would never tell someone after it's my establishments mistake that our customer would have to wait after all the appointments and that the customer should come back later. I would of said after the tech was finished with the customer she's working on she will take you next and then take the next customer right after. Let someone else set up her next client and then let the other client know that she will be with them soon. It was a simple fix that wouldn't of took more than 20minutes especially if your using gel polish. Very unprofessional in that area of customer service by the owner. Someone could of also said before I still came to reschedule. Especially because I don't live there and drove out to still support them instead going to a lot of other shops that are great by my house. I still went trying to support black business.
