Told the woman when I came in that I wanted a pedicure and just shaping and a clear coat of nail polish on my hands. My pedicurist (Candy or Cathy?) was incredibly rude to me, and after I received my services, I saw on my bill that they had charged me for a manicure. This is my first time writing a negative review, but I feel like I should because of the INFECTION I got after my pedicure here. I was a walk in appointment, they took a while to get to me which was fine. When they started services, I told my technician that one of my toenails has an ingrown, and asked if she could help cut around it. She ended up ripping the entire ingrown out, which was very painful and also illegal. I have never had a nail technician do that to me before. I flinched and was in pain for most of my service, and she laughed at me making jokes with the other techs. I've been to this salon a few times. About two weeks ago, I got Gel-X nails, and they only lasted about two weeks. Since it was my first experience with gel, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to come back today for an acrylic full set. Unfortunately, today's experience was much worse. Before he even put the tips on, he asked me at least five different times what color I wanted. I explained each time that I was still deciding because I wanted to look through the color book first. Instead of giving me a chance to choose, I felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. The nail tech was also on the phone during my service, and I felt like I didn't have his full attention. I asked for a simple, short, super square acrylic set, but my nails ended up rounded, uneven, and sloppy. I also requested a simple two-color design using a pastel yellow and pink. Instead, he used a neon yellow instead of the pastel shade I had chosen and never gave me the opportunity to choose the pink shade I wanted. As soon as he applied the colors, I politely told him I didn't like them. He huffed, walked away with a visible attitude, and made me feel uncomfortable for simply speaking up about something I hadn't asked for. At that point, I didn't want to argue, so I kindly asked him to just do white instead. Overall, I left disappointed. I expect to be able to take my time choosing my colors, have my requests listened to, and be treated respectfully if I ask for a correction. Between feeling rushed, the poor communication, the attitude when I spoke up, and the uneven quality of the nails, this experience fell far below my expectations. I was able to schedule an appointment as she had one of her best nail techs(Pink) remove the old set that I complained about and gave me a brand new set. They also fix my toes. In my original review I spoke of how nice and courtesy the owner is and I stand by that. Came here with my friend for a girls day and was immediately sat. My friend told me usually they're busy so we probably came at the perfect time-- on a Saturday at that. Tran was my tech and she was so professional and sweet. I usually have issues with the way people do French, but she did a great job. Free beverages during your service from alcohol to soft drinks. Space was clean and modern with an upscale vibe for good priced services. I got the volcanic pedicure with gel French and it came out to $76. I had recently had a disappointing experience at Noire Nail Bar, so I was looking for alternatives nearby. Luxury Nail Bar had the highest ratings, and was an easy drive, so I came here. In both cases, I received a recommendation to come in a bit more often - I wear sandals frequently, so I have a tendency to build up callouses fairly quickly. In terms of quality, I ordered the basic pedicure, $33. At Noire, I'd been getting something a bit more pricey, around $45, in order to get proper callous removal. I was offered a drink without having to ask for it. I took a chilled small bottle of water, but it looks like they have some sort of slush machine, if that's more your speed - and Dum-Dum lollipops (for kids?). The chairs are noticeably more comfortable. Better communication and value overall. A nice, quiet environment - there are televisions but they're turned off. Mostly the hum of the slush machine and the work on other people. I'm happy with the overall package here. Parking is also easy. read more

Love love love! First, I had to follow where my favorite nail ladies are. Jennifer and Tram are my team and they get me all the way together. Mai is the owner and she is kind, helpful and I'm so happy for her new location. Jennifer has been doing my nails for the last 2 years as well as tram for 3+ years. Jennifer does my nails and tram takes care of my pedicures. Tram used to do my SNS but I opted for acrylic bc I am rough on my hands and need something easy to fill. Tram did not do acrylic and this is when I met Jennifer. They are both meticulous when it comes to their work. The parking is free and easy to find a spot usually. Please my people Do Not spend your money at this place!!! When I came in I asked for my regular person Rachel. The manager said she quit. I said ok well let me get anyone to do a gel mani and pedi. 20 minutes into the service no one offered me a drink or turned on the chair massager. A white woman came in and was seated, chair adjusted and offered a drink. I looked around and All the white people had drinks. I pointed that out to the nail tech and she said I'm sorry do you want a drink when I told her no at that point, she said she didn't speak much English. So my black people the question now becomes: Why are we spending our money in places that don't value us? Why are we accepting different treatment? I've honestly tried to give this place a chance since I live sooo close to this salon. The color on their SNS booklet does NOT match what color shows up on your nails - I e had the nail tech agree. I think it's a specific brand (not all of them) I went in to get my sons nails taken off and keep my nails bare (but still got a manicure) they soaked my nails in acetone for about 20 minutes. After the time had passed I asked the guy doing my pedicure if I could take my hands out of the acetone that another employee put my hand in and hold me someone else was coming. The manicure was fine (no complaints there) but when coming home my fingers started feeling weird and then I start noticing skin on my fingers had a flaky feeling. At first I thought it was the clear coat they put on and some was just on my finger. But after multiple hand washes and layers and layers of lotion, the salon kept my hands in acetone too long and it stripped my skin. When I called she told me to put neosporen on my hands lol This may not be a regular thing they do, but they should be more attentive. read more

I came from Chicago to ATL on business business and was extremely excited to experience the amenities at the Luxury Nail Bar. NOT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT! A man (looking extremely disheveled and talking to himself) walked in off the street pushed past me to walk in the bathroom with me! I left out and asked if he was sick he didn't respond. He stayed in there so long that I had to leave and go to another establishment. I came back and the manager stated he was still there and not responding to anyone. They figured he was a construction worker from the plaza. I suggested that they may want to call the police. They did nothing. I cancelled my service and left. Trust your intuition ! While waiting for an Uber to take me to another establishment he comes out screaming and pulling down his pants. If the restrooms are not open to the public! It should be enforced! I respect that when i go to places and need to go to the restroom. Letting $$$$ walk out the door for failure to create a safe environment is unacceptable. Scary and disappointing! read more

My daughter and I got impromptu manis and pedis while in the area. They were able to accommodate us walkins (around 5pm on a Friday). Staff were all really nice. The salon is beautiful and bright. Definitely gives off luxury with the chandelier and drink offerings. (Didnt partake so not sure if drinks are included are just available at an extra cost.) Salon is in a shopping center with ample parking. Had an overall good experience, but there were some negatives. Didn't like how the French tip design was applied because it didn't allow for a base coat on the nail. (The base coat would have been wiped off as the French was shaped using acetone.) But that's a personal preference that some might be ok with. And for some reason my nail color discolored and started showing signs of cracks/chips in less than 48hrs. Got white toes and nails (same polish bottle used) but the nails looked like an off white/cream by Sunday morning. Hadn't used any lotions or other possible chemicals once leaving so not sure what that was about. Wasn't ina position to return to have it addressed but sure they would have rectified. Would come back again next time in Atlanta. read more

Terrible experience here. I read the reviews called to get an appointment with one of the technicians who had good reviews. None of them were working that day. I said is there anyone really good available. She said yes come in and I'll take care of you. Halfway through my pedicure the person got replaced with the manager because they were short staffed. She did my manicure and said she would also finish my gel toes. She forgot and got busy doing manager things and left me sitting there forever. I had to get up and walk over to her, she apologized and said she would only charge me for the pedicure. Come to find out the pedicure was like $68 - I will never return. read more

I made the mistake of doing a walk in for both a deluxe pedicure and acrylic set. I ended up leaving over 3 hours later, with a chunky gel pedicure and both hands different shapes. I learned from my mistake and decided to give this place another try, but this time making an appointment for both services. This time I did a regular pedicure and a fill in, but was charged the same amount as my first visit (so no set prices, it's just whatever they want to charge you that day). Not only that but this time my pedicure started at the time I set my appointment for and my fill in started almost AN HOUR after my set time. I understand things happen and people run behind at times, but every booked appointment has a grace period. But to tell me that they were aware of my booking, and that even with an appointment they are still allowed to run almost an hour behind is ridiculous. I don't understand letting your customers make appointments and not honoring them. 10-15 ... maybe even 20 minutes on running behind I would of understood, but almost a whole hour after A BOOKED APPOINTMENT IS RIDICULOUS! I believe in second chances and mistakes happen but I would definitely never recommend this place. On top of that the manager is absolutely horrible with the worst customer service. Even after we discussed the situation, I stated multiple times to her that I just wanted to get charged so I could leave & she still continued to argue with me. As a paying customer who brought this issue in a calmly and respectful manner and then trying to end it and still being argued with after multiple times of stating "please charge me so I can leave" is absurd behavior. read more

The walk-in visit took a minute to get seated because there's only 3 of them working, but the actual process was quick and thorough. It's one of the few places that does charms as well. TLDR; Your experience will depend on which nail tech you get. I've been here multiple times and usually never run into any problems as most employees I've dealt with are very competent in nails. However this past visit, I got the worst SNS I've ever had in my life. Tammy is clearly new at doing nails and spoke absolutely no English so it was difficult to communicate what I wanted. Coming from immigrant family, I definitely support and understand the difficulties of learning English but it's still very frustrating that so she couldn't understand when I wanted to tell her the shape I wanted or what "thin" meant (how I like the sns to be). They should not let her do sns yet until she's fully trained and have her work next to an employee that can translate for her. She had to call a guy from across the room to get a translator. She's sweet but frankly, she is not ready for SNS clients. I also hate complaining to service industry employees bc essentially you're insulting them of their work but as a paying customer and getting my nails done before a trip so they'd look nice, I couldn't bring myself to leave the salon with ugly nails like that. I left and sat in my car looking at my hands about to cry, and realized there's no way I could leave looking like this. I went back inside and asked for the manager; to which he glanced at the nails and knew immediately what was wrong with them and how to fix it. I've had the manager before and he's fantastic at doing nails. He immediately fixed them by filing them on the side to the proper shape (still lumpy on surface but that requires a whole new set essentially and he nor I didn't have time for that). The manager was nice about fixing them and I really liked this salon and want them to succeed so I just hope he took the time to identify her weaknesses and help her with training more before releasing her back out to work so she doesn't scare off more clients. My first time trying this place and I'll definitely be back. I was greeted immediately with I came in and given an eta on my wait time. The eta was accurate which I appreciated. When I sat down I was offered a margarita while I waited. The margarita wasn't strong but it was 2pm so I didn't need anything too strong. I appreciated the mere fact that margaritas were even an option. My pedicure was very precise and Aaron made sure to correct any minor defects. In my way out I made an appointment for a manicure. I really wanted to love this place :( I have recently had bad experiences with inconsistent pricing & quality at my previous salons, so I followed the friends that found a new spot. PROS: The staff here is super friendly, & the shape of my nails are lovely. CONS: I didn't walk out with what I wanted. 1. I asked for square shaped toes, twice, she even repeated it back to me, then gave me the complete opposite (picture attached) 2. I asked for the design in the picture, once we got to the design she told me "$35 extra" (which I appreciate her saying this in advance) so then I asked what the base price of a full set was on the menu, she couldn't show me a menu but wrote down "$55 +$5, +$5, +$5" I said "okay so we're at $70?" She said "yes then $35 for design" So I asked what it would be for just the black tips, she said $15 & we went with that because to me, I'm already overpaying $85 for the service in my opinion & was not going to pay more. In total: It rang up to $153 before tip. I got a $45 pedicure +$5 for gel & an $85 manicure (which on the register rings up to $45, not $55 like she told me) is the math mathing to you?? So I got a receipt. I looked at the receipt (attached) & there was an $18 charge for gel on my toes, $15 for gel on my hands, the "additional charge" on my receipt was for the French tips on my fingers (because she told me they were $15 instead of the design I originally wanted) but then on the last item it says "French/American" for what I got on my toes & only $5...... I was also charged for the length & shaping of my nails. My friends get this same service for $120 out the door. read more
