Please pass by this nail Salon ladies. I had my nails done on a Friday and on Saturday the polish was coming off in chunks. I went back to get it taken care of and the manager was not happy at all. They redid my nails this time just with their base cost and clear - guess what happend - within 24 hours the "CLEAR" polish was flaking off my nails. Love this place for their flexibility and outstanding care and service! If you are a walk-in and they are busy just ask how long the wait is and go from there--come back later or schedule an appt. for a different day. They are flexible and you need to be understanding if they simply won't be able to service you. Only on a few occasions have I seen them have to turn away walk-ins. I've been coming here for years and while a photo demonstrates an issue from a different customer please be aware that the owner did apologize for their response (find the salon on facebook). Yes, while it was a rather unprofessional comment, they did apologize for their actions/ initial response. People are obviously posting negative reviews. I just had an eyebrow way and pedicure. For the pedicure, they did lightly use a grater, but I did not feel pain and do not have any lacerations. All services I have received over the years (manis, pedis, waxing) have been consistent. Since moving to IL I had to go to 3 nail salons before trying Pink Nails, where I was finally satisfied. I've been back several times and have been happy each time. Pink Nails is very clean, offers a large selection of colors and the employees are friendly. Alicia is a great nail tech, taking her time and making sure that I'm happy. I plan to go back. (The only reason why this isn't rated with 5 stars is due to them not always having no chip and regular polish to match - I use no chip on fingernails and regular on toenails). read more

While I haven't been to a TON of nail salons, Pink Nails is, by far, my favorite place to go. The staff is friendly and I've always been happy with how my nails turn out. It's nice and clean in there and I don't feel pushed to get any specific service. I positively LOVE the massages, too! I visit my boyfriend regularly from Australia and always make sure I only get my nails done at Pink Nails. The ladies are very friendly and professional. The price is good and they do a beautiful no chip manicure. Sitting back while I have a glorious pedicure is one of the most enjoying parts. Yes, I think so , This place is a Nightmare, after all of my service was completed, I gave the lady who handles the money at the front register, she went into the Back Room, saying she will be back with my $8.00 change, after I had Included a $5.00 tip for her, she came back to the front area of the store, while I waited at the register for my change, and asked her where is my change, she told me she had already given it to me.,, She gave herself a $13.00 tip. My boyfriend and I just got finished with our "spa pedis" and they were amazing! The pedi chairs were comfy and the salon was clean! When the pedi was finished we were to the nail drying area and we both received a shoulder massage while our nails dried!! read more

I made an appointment for my boyfriend and I 2 weeks in advance. I spoke with a man when making my appointment and explained to him several times that it was for two people. I made sure to check with him before hanging up that he had manis and pedis for two people. When I showed up to my appointment, they were clearly very busy. I told the lady working my name and my appointment time. She confirmed that I was there for a mani and pedi. I then reminded her that it was supposed to be a mani and pedi for two people and that's when she claims they have no appointment for me at all. I made the appointments in advance for a reason and it seemed like they didn't want to see us because they were already busy. Very disappointed in their customer service. read more

RUN AWAY! The woman tried to PRY a no chip manicure off my nails! Can you imagine how much that hurt! ? If they don't know how to remove a simple no chip manicure, how can I be sure their instruments for pedicures are CLEAN? I wouldn't trust this salon to devein shrimp. The business had the audacity to tell her "Don't come back" on their Facebook page, then deleted their account so no one else could comment! Talk about trying to control your reviews! The owner or manager whoever was very rude. Told me that it was too much of a HASSLE to do a no chip on pedicure. I'm sorry but if I am going to pay for a pedicure I am going to get what I want. As a customer it is up the business to please the customer if possible and not tell them they are a hassle especially if they are willing to pay to compensate for the extra "hassle". So needless to say I will taking my money to a business that doesn't call a paying customer and their wants a hassle. I think they need to take a lesson on customer service. Let me first start off by saying that I have been coming to this place for a couple years now. Recommended numerous friends as well as my clients to them. I work 40+ hours a week so when I get my nails done once a month it's a huge deal for me. This WAS my favorite place until today. Went in for my monthly mani pedi. Finished with my pedi and went over for my mani. Well the nail polish had something wrong with it so she asked me to pick another color. No problem it happens. Couldn't find a color that matched my toes so I ask that she repaint my toes and I would pay additional if needed. She then became extremely upset and started roughly handling my hands while saying "this is so stupid" under her breath and shaking her head. Then she finished the mani and refused to repaint my toes because other appointments are there. No there wasn't appointments there it was a bunch of walk ins that came in while I was there. I was the one with the actual appointment. Was also supposed to get waxed and that didn't happen either. So here I sit with orange toenails and purple finger nails. Awesome right? And I have an event this weekend. Totally disgusted with this place. Never again. And will for sure update my friends and clients with the treatment I received there today. read more

Me and my wife visited this location to get a pedicure as a couple and for her to get a manicure with no chip. The staff was super friendly, the space was very clean, and my wife was sold with the shoulder massage that came with the manicure! Totally recommend for anyone needing some pampering! read more

I have been going here for a couple of years. My husband gets me gift certificates for Mother's Day, Anniversary, Birthday (all the special occasions) for a mani/pedi. Today I went in for my mani/pedi. My pedicure was nothing special but my manicure....well, let's talk about that! I was asked if I wanted my nails cut, I replied that No, I did not, just cleaned up. I now have nails that are all even with the tops of my fingers except ONE! The guy doing the manicure was more interested in listening to the movie, Mean Girls, than he was to my responses to him! Even though I have a free manicure still coming, I will be finding a new place to go for my mani/pedis so thank you for the good service I used to have. read more

I have been to this location on multiple occasions with my Girlfriend and we love the way the staff is so attentive to our needs. They take the time to give the customer special treatment. If you enjoy going to a place that will treat you important, then I would suggest Pink Nail's in Round Lake Beach IL on Route 83. I am always impressed with their service.
