My friend and I will definitely be coming back to this office. She told me after I referred her to Derick and after her visit that she understood what I meant when I said "Derick Dermatology is the Rolls Royce of dermatology." Though we learned by experience that Derick looks and runs like a Rolls Royce costs are well in the lower tier of expenditure. To the point it'll be a surprise of how low the prices are. Such an artist! She has amazing credentials as an Allergan trainer and experience as an ocular surgeon. I would not go to anyone else for injections moving forward. She also performed a session of microneedling/PRF injections under my eyes and the results are fantastic. I've scheduled another session. I would trust no one else with my under eye. 10/10! I can't say enough about her. In addition, I visited Dr. Bakhos for surgical removal of a lesion right on my cheek and the results healed beautifully. I would highly recommend both of them, whether you are needing a surgical treatment or simply visiting the med spa. Both med spa and surgery offices have the KINDEST, most professional staff. These treatments are not the most fun and someone is there every time holding your hand. Scheduling is very efficient, the staff is friendly and courteous, and Dr. Newman immediately put me at ease. This is a very professional clinic and sees only adult patients, I believe. Most communication is backed up with email reminders and an online portal so you can complete all your paperwork ahead of time so you don't need to get there so early the first time. I had my labs drawn during my first visit and the results were available after one week, viewable through my DPI "portal", and Dr. Newman called me personally to explain them, without my prompting. I highly recommend this clinic. The excellent, friendly patient care really shines when paired with it's easy and transparent web presence. It is very professional and I have full confidence that my heath is in good hands with the men and women working there.

I am going to look around for another primary care doctor. They do have a nice facility in a professional building, but looks can be deceiving. If you have other medical options, explore them.

Called before my appointment to check if they accept my insurance since I don't have deductible and I am 100% covered. Sent them a photo of my insurance card. They confirmed we are in-network. When I came to see the doctor he requested me to pay for the visit. When I asked why when we are in-network, he says that some patients have deductible and they don't want to pay after, so he wanted me to pay right away and when my insurance pay the claim he will refund my money. I said ok because there weren't any reason not to trust him. After 2 days he called me to tell me the results of bloodwork. I asked him what happened with insurance and he said they didn't cover anything. Called my insurance and they said he is not in my network! Called him again asking why they provided the wrong info. They sent me a paper which says we are in-network. I send that paper to my insurance and they called me and explained he just quoted the insurance never accepted them! And I already paid for visit that should be free! What a shame for one doctor! Trust a doctor? Sure! at least they should apologize- sorry for giving you the wrong info and you ended up paying for our mistake! When I talked to the doctor about this issue, he didn't care.
