Used Pink Sponge for my yearly house cleaning treat I give myself. I keep things pretty clean but I wanted base boards done, window sills and all those other things that are not very fun. Marilyn did an amazing job! I am pretty picky and I was so happy with her job. She was also so sweet and made sure to ask if I was pleased with her work before she left. She treated my home with respect and took care to clean everything thoroughly. The process before is great too. They send someone over to take notes on exactly what you're hoping to have done and they are very clear about their services. Very professional. I'd highly recommend them! read more

Update: 3.5 stars: I came back to Yelp today specifically to update my review. As I mentioned in my initial review, I do not write reviews often and I also do not go to Yelp often. I wanted to make sure to share the following: The situation I mentioned where I paid a tip in cash and also was charged for a tip on my credit card ended up being a misunderstanding by both sides. My communication that day with PS was as stated but when I went to double check the credit card statement, I was not actually charged for the tip on my credit card. Both myself and PS believed the charge occurred at the time but turns out that date for the auto tip had not actually happened yet. The cleaner at my residence that day was not double tipped. I no longer call into question the cleaner's ethics. I am glad to see the company responded to my review. I am only seeing it today. I appreciate the offer for new vacuum. I will say, It would have been nice to know the plan directly about my vacuum cleaner and not learn about it through a Yelp review over a month later. I cannot move review my rating up to 3.5 stars as I do not see how to do that on yelp. I am open to possibility of moving rating up further. Time will tell. read more

A professional cleaner that left out obvious crumbs under my dining table after they "vacuum" , and made me clean more even after a so called "professional" cleaning. I did reach out to them and sent them pics immediately after, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. Just want to make sure you learn from my mistake of believing them that you can trust that they can be left in the house and when you come back the house will be sparkling. For $85/hr they charge more than postgrad professionals per hour, this my expectations were not met. Don't ever get afternoon slot, the staff they send are already too tired to make a sparkling clean. Be careful. read more

Requested a one-time cleaning, which was done fabulously by Jacky and her trainee Joseph. They cleaned the bathroom (requested special attention) and other parts of the home very well. Cleaning ended a little early than the minimum time but they took the initiative to look around the house and further cleaned whatever could be cleaned. Overall very satisfied. read more

Christie came in and listened carefully about my cleaning priorities. The kitchen hood, stove-top, cabinets, window blinds and floors were my focus areas. She quickly set up and got started. Within minutes the hood was looking shiny new. She then moved on to other tasks and completed all of them promptly. She was professional and worked hard to ensure everything was spic-and-span. Update. I was told my refund would be to me Jan 15-17. It's now February 2 and still no check. They only refund by check and snail mail. I sent an email on 1/20 to follow up and they verified they had my correct address but nothing on when check was mailed. Be very cautious if you decide to use this company. Update # 2 I am having trouble with this company and it's reimbursing me for the lousy service I received in December. They agreed to reimburse me half of the cost due to the poor job done by the Gentleman but alas no check. They take credit card for payment but only mail checks for reimbursement. I really am starting to believe that there is something shady going on... Final Update! After posting this update I received a phone call from Jennifer who manages their yelp. She immediately offered to Venmo/pay pal my refund. I received the funds this morning! Wish we could have resolved this sooner! read more

Man, these guys have been through it with this Pandemic! We have had them servicing our home for quite some time now and have really enjoyed seeing their perseverance. We do get to see different faces coming through but can always trust that they are certified Pink Sponge employees. Their customer service is great, we love being able to support a local small business and it's always so nice to speak to a person each time we get in contact with them. They let us know of changes they're having to make and always do their best to keep us in the loop with growth adjustments and anything else we would need to know. RIDICULOUS! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.I will give 0 star if possible for this terrible experience. They gave me arrival window 1-5pm on the schedule date. They DID NOT show up nor provided any updates. Called them twice during the time window to follow up but they just told me to wait. Finally got call from them around 4pm after 3 hours wait, telling me they have to reschedule my appointment!? Then she hanged up on me while I was still trying to talk to her regarding to this issue. It's unfortunate to have to write a bad review on a "professional home cleaning company ", but here goes. Judy, (one of the owners), came and estimated the job. She charged about $270-$299 for the first cleaning. Two cleaners came and they did an ok job. My next cleaning was scheduled for 2 weeks later. (I was going to have the cleaning done every two weeks.) I received a text just before the next appointment and confirmed it. NO ONE SHOWED UP! I called the office and Ariana said " oh, I was supposed to text you that the cleaning person hurt her back and couldn't make it. " "my bad" ". " Would you want someone to come tomorrow." I told her no, because I had plans and wouldn't be home to let them in. Ariana scheduled it for the following week. STOOD UP AGAIN!!! When I called, Ariana said they couldn't get anyone to come. They were short handed. Could they come next week? I stupidly agreed. I was STOOD UP THE THIRD TIME!!! So it appears that first of all, I'm an idiot for allowing them 3 chances. Secondly, Ariana, the only person that answers the phone and has no problem with lying to your face. How sad! Third, this company is on its way out. Sorry, Judy. You are a nice person but you can't run a professional business like this. read more

I just cancelled this service after being a customer for about 2 years. They started out great, sending 2-3 maids for my monthly cleaning of an almost 4,000 square foot house. Over the last year, they would only send 1 person. I started noticing things not being done such as dusting, emptying trashcans, cleaning the microwave, etc. They left what appeared to be deep scratches on my bathroom sinks, which after numerous attempts to get someone over here to look at, they were thankfully able to buff out. At that appointment, I let the manager know of my unhappiness with their service over the last few months. I showed her the dust and surfaces not touched around my house. She agreed that my house was large, and said that they would put a note in my file. Cut to today. The trashcans again were not emptied in my childrens' rooms, none of my 4 bedrooms upstairs were vacuumed, nothing was dusted, my mirrors were not touched. Fed up, I called to make a complaint. Unfortunately, I do not know who I spoke with, but she pretty much told me that my house takes too long to clean. I told her that's because they dropped the cleaning crew from 2-3 people down to 1 for an almost 4,000 square foot home! She told me they don't send multiple people And that my house must have been used to train people. She wanted to set up an appointment to look at the house again and give me an updated quote. This is after 2 years with them! I told her I wasn't interested in a new quote, I was interested in what I signed up for. I cancelled my service. It is apparent that this company does not have an adequate number of employees, or does not train their employees well. Don't waste your time and money on them. read more

I had a First Time cleaning done for an 1100 sq. ft. Condo. I was quoted $125 for a 2-3 hour cleaning. A team of 5 showed up (1 leader and 4 trainees) and stayed an hour and a half. All nice ladies! Unfortunately, the leader left the kitchen and dining room floors for last. After they left I noticed neither floor was clean and had to re-mop them. Also, the vacuum was not working well and left little fuzz balls on the carpet. I was charged $133.40 for the cleaning. Not a satisfied customer! read more
