While visiting I wanted to try this Houston staple pizza place, and I am so glad I did. We had planned to eat inside but their dining area was a little small so we decided to order to go. The staff was friendly and took our order as soon as we arrived. The place was clean with pink tables and pink accents everywhere. Their Pizza boxes are really cool looking, but the best part was for sure their pizza. We ordered two pizzas one Pepperoni and a Pepperoni Jalapeño and they were both absolutely delicious. My favorite part was the taste of their marinara sauce, it had an amazing flavor. When I am back in Houston I will certainly come back. read more

We are EXTREMELY disappointed with what happened tonight. We are very regular customers (3x a month for sure). We got a large cheese pizza for our kids like we often do. Our kids ate the pizza and kept saying it tasted different. Turns out hidden under the cheese was a layer of pepperoni. Our family does not eat Pepperoni for religious reasons. TL;DR: Solid establishment with a terrific slice of pizza for an empty stomach. At noon, I had come in looking for a quick meal. I had heard from my friends in the area that Pink's was a superlative pizza shop, so I decided to take a visit. Parking was not a problem. The establishment is located on a strip mall with a few other businesses adjacent to Pink's, so parking had plenty of spots to go around. Walking in, I was slightly startled at how small the shop was. It being part of a strip mall, expecting an establishment the size of Minute Maid Park was not on my mind but neither was something smaller than a living room. The seating area had four desk-sized tables in an space no larger than a 20x20 living room. There was a bathroom in the back past the front counter. In all though, I would not recommend larger parties to eat inside. I ordered a slice of pepperoni. Pink's order for any slice of pizza starts with the Cheese Slice CYO (create your own). This is the only option and starts at $3.75. However, from here, you can add any topping for 60 cents more, so I ended up paying $4.35 for a slice of up-to-par pepperoni. It came out fresh, so it took a good ten minutes for my slice to hit the table. In the meantime, a few more people came in after me. Pink's was not too busy in the slightest for lunchtime, but I did not mind. The rogue-skate tenor of the shop fit the vibe, and the atmosphere of the place was done well for the corner shop of a strip mall. Steaming, this slice was piping with heat and flavor - worth the wait for me (but if I was in a hurry, it might have been a different story). The slice was firm but was still soft at the cornicione. What grabbed my attention the most was the bottom of the slice. It was crispy and crunchy, mixing well with the saltiness of the cheese and earthy base of the slice's tomatoes. This brief meal was a flavorsome detour and left my belly feeling warm and satisfied. I would say, however, the space of the restaurant and the wait for the pizza dealt some blows to the overall experience of the shop. Nonetheless, I would recommend it to people in the area looking for a bite to eat. Even pizzas from Pink's for an event would be sure to hit if they were as delectable as mine. read more

I'm done with this place. Multiple times i've ordered pizzas with extra topping options and there's zero extra toppings but charged anyways. Their oven barely cooks the dang pizza. The dough is overly soft. Don't bother trying to order well-done crust or crispy crust because they don't even attempt it. Every pizza slice is a soggy flippy floppy mess that drops the cheese and toppings back in the box unless you use two hands. Staff doesn't give a crap. I used to love this pizza place. The last few times I went my pizza wasn't that great. My last visit on 6/10/23 I called this location around 9:55pm to place a pickup order. The lady who answered the phone stated they close at 10:30 and I could only order custom slices. I responded that didn't make since- I could order custom slices but not a custom pizza and she hung up on me. Good thing I live 5 minutes from this location so I went up there. Upon arrival I was allowed to place a Togo order. Which took about 10-15 mins. After receiving my pizza I informed a male worker the incident that just occurred with the lady hanging up on me. He apologized but when I asked for her name he responded he didn't know her name. He calls her "J". There were only 3 people working that night (2 males and a black female). I noticed she was rude to everyone entering the establishment (rolling eyes, nasty attitude, hanging up on phone calls). Customer service was at an all time low by this particular worker. I also found out she lied about the establishment closing at 10:30 - actually closes at 11pm. They were still making pizzas and I didn't have to order slices. This location is going to lose a lot of business if she doesn't change her attitude and stop turning customers away. read more

That's why my boyfriend and I had to drive all the way to Pink's pizza and order a 16-inch pie so that we could watch our teams lose in Fantasy. After gazing at the menu for forever, we decided on getting a 16-inch Bada Bing and a side order of Pepperoni Stix. There wasn't anyone there so the order was fast and we didn't have to wait long. I usually don't like fresh tomatoes on pizza but I really liked this one. It was so good! It had Italian sausage, prosciutto, spinach, pepperoni and tomatoes so it was a great balance. The pepperoni sticks were great too. I've also had their normal cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza before and those were good as well. Overall, Pink's is great if you're craving something other than the normal fast food chain pizzas! Plus they're one of the very few places in Houston who has pizzas by the slice. I ordered a pizza for takeout last night on their website, which was easy. For some reason, premium ingredients cost more than regular ingredients (not sure how that makes sense to them). Took about 40 minutes to have it ready, which was fine with me. Went to pick it up and the dude behind the counter just looked at me when I came in and went back to doing whatever he was doing. No type of greeting or whatever, which I don't care, but I also walked in to buy or pickup something right? I told him my order and he reached for a box or pizzas, which I thought were pre-filled to put the hot pizza in. Nope, those were ready to go, just out in the open. I can see why some reviews say the pizza is cold because they don't do anything to keep them warm. My pizza had tomato on it, I think it was the Rocko, and these slices of tomato were so thick that they not only didn't cook, they released their juice all over and made the whole thing a WAP (wet-ass pizza). Not only that, it wasn't cooked enough so it looked very pale. Got gome, cranked the oven to 400, popped it in for 10 minutes and it finally resembled a properly cooked pie. The pizza itself tasted alright, 6.5/10. Crust was good and their mozz also tasted fine. I should mention that I used to go to the Pink's in the Heights and they were always on point. ATTENTION ALL PIZZZA LOVERS! If you haven't checked out pinks than you are missing out buddy! This place reminds me when I was a kid you order your pie and eat it hot and fresh in the lobby. Sadly many pizza joints no longer offers that, unless its 'dine in' decor layout: There's 2-3 round tables with barstools or you can eat at the counter. (if you eat at the counter, you can watch the chefs make the pizzas) Food: There's something special about their crust & sauce that have you coming back for another slice. The crust is nice and soft with a crunch. It's not greasy. They're generous with fresh toppings and its spread out evenly on the pie. Unlike Stars pizza, you will need a fork & knife to eat your messy pizza. The Hot wings were ok, sorry to say not the best on their menu. So far I've tried: Rocko, Lazy Lasagna(soo good), Big Boss, Rocko..all delicious! Although it is quite pricey, but it's worth every penny! Wow we came here on a Friday at 6:30 and they were busy busy! Apparently everyone just calls their orders in and not too many people actually dine-in. They told us they've been getting nonstop calls since 4:30pm and that our order would take at least 30 minutes to fill for a single pie even for dine-in. They were churning out pizzas like mad and the ovens and pizza racks were full! It was crazy! They had lots of pick-ups and deliveries going out as well. The restaurant is small - about 4 tables out front. Was thinking they'll have more space and be a little quicker in service - especially if they get this busy often. But I guess kitchen space is also limited. We got the Luigi which had apple, feta, sun-dried tomato, mushrooms, and a pesto sauce on it. It had good flavors and I love their crust. Crispy where it should and soft as well. Definitely held together well. I've had pizzas from Pink's before - Heights location and I feel like this one was stingy with toppings.
